xD I saw that video before! True, those are some strange customers, and I've seen a lot of grubby or crazy looking people at Wal-Mart. What is it with those people there? O.o My local grocery store's shoppers look a lot nicer, and they're not all rude and stuff, like there. .___.

Also, I have only worn pajama bottoms in public once when I ran out of jeans when my washing machine was broken. Why to people wear pajamas in public?

I'll never forget the time I saw two guys dressed like they were extras in The Matrix walking side-by-side, really close together. As they walked by, one was just holding the other one's a**. Aside from the usual trailer trash, there's not much weirdness at my Wal-Mart, but that s**t freaked me out.

Hm.... gay men dressed all futurey sexy. emotion_dowant I would've laughed if I saw that. I appreciate weird clothes.

Eh, I see a lot of people wearing pajamas and clothes that are way too tight, usually. I saw a lady with a beehive hairdoo with a big ol' bow in it once at Wal-Mart. Oh, and a shirtless fat guy. Lots of just plain old nasty looking people. I encountered a hobo once, he was sitting on the benches inside the entrance.

You know, there are much better places to shop than Wal-Mart. We have a small chain store called Aldi up here that sells cheap imported or off-brand food, yet it's high quality. Then there's Meijer around the Great Lakes regions, they sell for a little less too. P: I really don't see what's so great about Wal-Mart.

Aldi? Up here? Where is up here? ninja

Michigan. :3

@Whitney Conversation: Poor thing. Even though I'm not a fan of hers, I still have to feel bad for what happened to her, despite the things she did. My word, all of those drugs she took....Scary. O_o 48 seems so young, ya know?

Yes, wedding dresses. I'd be damned if I ever do that in a public place like your local Walmart where in my town, it's like a mini-class reunion. XD

Yeah, Whitney was the same age as my mom and her daughter is a year older than me so it hits close to home because it's one of those "What if it was my mom?" situation. D:

@Wedding Dresses Horror: Out of all of the dumbest things I've heard, wearing a bridal gown to a Twilight Series/Breaking Disaster Nightmare midnight release seems pretty stupid to me.

I'm scared to ask what girls are going to wear next. A bloody gown? O_o

/doesn't want to live on this planet anymore

@Whitney Conversation: sad I've read an article on Yahoo! that her daughter was so freaked out by the situation that she was hospitalized for stress and anxiety. Poor thing. sad The lost was too much for her.

Ooo, a blood-drenched gown?! I would wear that if it was something pertaining to a midnight release of Carrie. :3
I've never read or seen Twilight. However, that is one of the book and movie series' I'm planning to avoid for the rest of my life.
I've heard enough about it over Gaia to get the actual storyline. And I've seen posters and bookmarks advertising it. and I've read what Stephen King has to say about it.
Edward...is good looking, yes. but to me, the werewolf boy is hot. I'm no longer a teenager, but...I enjoy looking.
I also get that Bella is rather annoying.

I hear it's worse then Harry Potter. and to me, that was pretty bad anyway. Horrible writing to say the least.

Not just annoying she is like one of those overly 'dramtic' emo teens off of sitcoms. "Nobody likes me! No body likes me! I hate my parents! WHY doesn't that cute boy like me? My life is OVER now."
That is just the first few chapters of the first book. Most of the next books are full of this: "I don't want to be old! CHANGE ME! CHANGE ME!x12 to the billion"

Harry Potter/J.K. Rowling is the next Shakespeare compared to Twilight/S Meyer. Her writing is not horrible not on par with the worst of fanfic's but that is how Meyer's writing is. It looks like/sounds like someone's dirty fanfiction of 'vampires.' Her writing is very very poor and for someone that has as i recall a MASTERS degree in English it is inexcusable. I have a little excuse for my bad grammar because I never really needed perfect grammar for highschool, but now I need it if I want to be a writer.
Another thing is that Meyer does now know how teenagers talk, or how anyone really talks to people. If you read the conversations out loud it does sound like someones crappy fanfiction someone that is around twelve years old. If even I know mistakes, someone that basically has no true idea of real grammar can find mistakes... that is bad.

But all the hype is dieing quickly now, I bet that once the next movie comes out next year there will be little hype. But if anything that... comes up next there might be a banal tv series coming out...*shudders* Buut... that should die before the first season.

Would it be odd for me to say that I was thinking of Nessie's extreme birth when that came into my head? Bleh. I have an odd yet distrubing imagination sometimes.

just there's no point in reading the books or seeing the movies for me. I despise vampires pretty much anyway. and don't like the idea of EVERY. SINGLE. ********. book being set in high school.
Vampires and werewolves aren't my thing. Neither is wand magic (harry potter).
-shrugs-
Though..if I DID ever see the movies I would be watching for the photography and special effects. Cuz I'm a nerd in those areas.

If you want a book that is not set in high school then i would suggest the Dresden Files. Its sort of western fantasy... kinda. Think of it like the blurb on the back: "Buffy the vampire slayer staring Philip Marlowe..." though I would say it is a bit more like Supernatural wit only one guy and only in Chicago. The first book is like an intro to the main character....ehh its urban fantasy.... i guess it is called. It does have magic, but more like... instead of using a wand and not really being able to do magic without one it is more like being able to throw fire into a demons face as it comes to eat you.
((I love the series so much I ship it to everyone.))
Though I am reading a fairly good right now called "In the Forest of Harm" it seems to really be like Halloween, sort of. Its like three women all being stalked by two men...one guy is likely insane... I think he might be schizophrenic that one guy...The other is more out for vengeance. I can't wait for those two to meet.

Oh! Leviathan isn't set in school at all. 3nodding And the kids there are 15.

*tries to think of more YA lit that doesn't take place in school* Uh... there's Uglies, and The Hunger Games. Lots of dystopians don't really have school anyway.

...... I just thought of something. Why does Katniss never got to school? She mentions going to school, but we never see her there. I think it's because SPOLER: a victor in Catching Fire... or she might be just too old to go to school in District 12. I dunno, the author was too busy messing with Katniss's psychology to include that. Which is good, school isn't that interesting or important in Panem.

*tries to think of moar non-school related YA lit, but can't come up with any* There's a reason why they're all in high school, the majority of its target audience still goes to school. :v Thus, they are automatically relatable.

I don't think Collins included it much because it wasn't apart of the plot, but at least we know she'll well-educated, but quite often, you don't see characters go to school. You mostly hear about them going off towards an Adventure, Fighting Crime, or something that the author's plot really wants them to do. Ya know?

In other news, Nuttymadam made another reaction video on Breaking Disaster Part II (There's a clip of it online) and she, actually for once, criticizes Edward. I didn't watch the whole video (i.e. skipped her infamous screeching, crying, and squeeling...there was a lot of that.), but yeah, she actually...or maybe she's yelling at Robert, I don't know. *shrugs* But she did do it. O_o Me shocked.

There is no school in The Scorpio Races either.

I was surprised by how well educated the characters seemed to be, especially when their education was focused on coal mining and little else. But, not unrealistically so. The main characters were just smart people. Yeah, it was pretty irrelevant to the plot, so why include it. Smart author, that Collins... though, I do realize you can tear that book apart for its grammar mistakes, and some people just don't like the realistic diction writing style. Meh. It's still well written in my opinion, grammar is one of the last things I look at in a book, unless if's is so bad its incomprehensible or distracting. Then it jumps out at me. Nah, the characters, world, and plot matter more to me. Suzanne Collins did all of that well. Meanwhile, Stephanie Meyer did not, and spent too much time making her writing pretty, but just ended up with a mess.

Oh! I know of that girl! She's crazy. .___. I think it's more likely that she's yelling at Robert Pattinson, possibly for getting something wrong or whatever. You know, I wonder if his fans know he doesn't give a damn about Twilight... yet still adore him as Edward.

Megaman wished he could do at least half the things Dresden can do. Really that is true, plus megaman is a robot and basically is just firing at things from his gun. Yes he gets some cool powers, but then Dresden can in the 14 book is just about going to be a hellalot stronger then Megaman could ever be. So no, the Desden files is NOT megaman with human wizards.
((Because if you are good megaman ALWAYS wins. In the books there are fights you KNOW there are fights Dresden can't win. But he wins the heart by going after them anyways.))
