Eh, I think another issue I have with Twilight is, they took away the curse aspect of being a vampire. These vampires don't seem to need human blood to survive, they're super beautiful, and we'll count immortality because in the book it's portrayed as a good thing. Also, assuming the creatures I hear of in the second books are supposed to be werewolves (I hear a lot of fans call them werewolves, so...)... Is it really a curse if you have control over when you transform?
More proof that everything in Meyerland is all sunshine and rainbows.
If I remember correctly, Edward and Meyer-Bella say that the SHAPESHIFTERS (they are NOT werewolves, and they even say so in the f***ing book!) are prone to going out of control...but the only 'proof' we have of that is...what's-his-face's fiance who had her face scratched....dunno how that counts as being attacked. A bear (which is supposedly not as dangerous as a failwolf) causes more harm than a damaged face. Oh, and Edbob says they're dangerous. But we all know he's being a possessive a**.
Oh, and don't forget constipation-man's trying to jump at Meyer-Bella because she had a paper cut....though that's the only time he ever does anything...strangely enough.
