I'd definitely recommend the 'Saga of Darren Shan' (or the Cirque du Freak as it was named in America).

Well my personal favorite suggestions include:
Blue Bloods and Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz
Anne Rice (classic)
Vampire Kisses ( a little pre-teeny but still pretty good)
The Dark Angel
House of Night: Marked, Betrayed, Chosen by P.C. and Kristen Cast (Awesome series, my personal favorite of all of these)

P.S.- Don't forget to check out my avi in the arena this week! If you comment you could be one of the two people who get a random donation from me for the month of March. (positive comments please!)
kindred the embraced I think is a book blood plus, interview with the vampire and chibi vampire are all I know
((Hums))
The Vampire Diaries.
I didn't like the Anne Rice series. Only The Interveiw With A Vampire was good.
The morganville Vampires ((Soooo good, 4 books so far, fifth comming out this june or july.))
The Historian, I'm currently reading this one, it's good so far, one of the classics I belive.
Anno Dracula is a good one but it's a long read.

Um Imortal blood is good too by James Thompson but it's very sexualy graphic for the most part.

I just started a series by Douglass Clegg The Vampyricon

And you can never go wrong with Ann Rice I've read/own the entier vampier chronicals.
Lynsay Sands - Argeneau Series (vampire family) (The Accidental Vampire is great!!)

Christine Warren - Others Series (vamps, weres, demons, etc.)

Keri Arthur - Riley Jenson Guardian Series (vamp, weres, otherworldly things...natural and lab made...lots of suspense)
'salem's lot.

Stephen King.

amazing.
Thirsty by M. T. Anderson.

It's amazingly good.
Id highly recommend Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan.
[&yes I know, alot of people probably recommended it, but it's a really fantastic series (well I think so anyways)]
Vamped by David Sosnowski and any of the books writen by Raven Hart are all really good.
I have heard my old assistant has written a book about his experiences. I cannot vouch for his skills as a writer, but I can certainly tell you the story behind them is a fascinating one. You will probably be able to find them under the name of Darren Shan.
Sweet Blood by Pete Hautman.
Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith. Has were-people, too.

Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter novels by Laurell K. Hamilton. (there are 16, so they'll keep you well fed for a while xD)
Thicker Than Water by Carla Jablonski.
Marked Series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
The Blue Blood Series - not sure who the author is right now.
The Vampire Academy Series - not sure who the author is right now

All of them are really good. Some are better then others in my opinion but either way they are all good books.

You can try the Rachel Morgan Series by Kim Harrison. They are very good books. And the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton are very, very good. There is a lot of sexual scenes throughout the books, but they are wonderful books.
