3. Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm glad I gave paranormal romance a chance. I think Klause improved greatly with this more recent novel of hers.
Total: 3/40

Oh!! GREAT book!! I read the book long before they even thought about the movie! SO much better on all sorts of levels than the book! They totally tore up the plot with that movie!
What did you think of the book?
I loved the novel. I have seen the movie, and they're, like, nothing alike from what I recall. Anyway, I think Klause has a good handle on characters and plot. smile
I will have to pick up one of her works again. Got one you would recommend? Didnt she do a vampire novel, too?
Yep! I read her vampire novel (or one of them, if she's done more). It was Silver Kiss. It tugged at my heartstrings, especially the storyline involving the main character's mom. The main character, Zoe, was likable and relatable, but not as fleshed out as Vivian in Blood and Chocolate. I plan to buy Alien Secrets by her next; aliens intrigue me very much.
