The idea for this book seems really... stupid to me. And Ok I haven't read it, but I heard about it awhile back and looked into it. But the whole girl blaming other people for why she killed herself, really turned me off. To me it seemed that this girl was depressed and wanted to bring these people down with her. I guess it's that whole saying "misery loves company" ( I don't know, maybe she wanted some in Hell?). Usually it's what I know about the characters that make me want to pick up a book. Already I feel like I'm not going to be able to connect to this girl, who to me, seemed rather selfish.

i luv readin

So, could someone tell me what the 13 reasons she killed herself were? I don't mind spoilers (in fact, they're usually what helps me determine whether the story is worth reading), and I'm curious, but not sure I'm curious enough to read it myself.

Twilight: Would be the world's greatest satire if the author even knew what the word meant.

Anti-Twilight: Making decent discussions about a not-so-decent series since 2005.

I liked it. It's one of those books that make you really think about things. Yes, the girl does seem selfish at first but if you read why, you won't think that way anymore.

I my personal opinion, Thirteen Reasons Why is a very good book. Amazing actually. It wasn't depressing, but very melancholy and extremely dramatic. It's not usually the genre of book that I read, but it was still a fantastic book. I highly recommend it.

May the moon light your path, may the stars guide you on your journey, and may the gods of night smile down on you.

Oh yes. I LOVE it. I read it in like.. 1 night I think it ended up being. It was dramatic, sad, happy-ish confusing and SCARY. But I loved it so much.
