Even she didn't know it was black history month.
Same with the rest of the people I asked.
Seriously, after we get out of elementary school, NOBODY (outside of children television) cares about Black History Month. Not even many black people.
It's a hallmark holiday.
Deal with it.

Yep. And I'm just pointing out that not many people (in my area, at least) really acknowledge black history month whatsoever.

That's sad. Maybe someone in your town needs to push for change. As I'm willing to bet that education there is probably white-centered.
