Obama is a horrible president and MLK would hang himself in shame. Racism is still alive and well. He wouldn't just hang himself due to the black community ,but, due to the way our government is run. No, Obama is not a socialist. He has some socialist policies, but he's still a Democrat and the Democrats have always been centre-right at best. Subsidised healthcare is a technically "socialist" policy that many non-socialist countries adopt.

No president ever has completely thrown out the laws established by the previous administration, so I don't know what you were expecting.

If MLK truly was a socialist, then he might be critical of Obama in certain respects, but he certainly wouldn't hang himself, that's complete nonsense. The man was a powerful force for change. He lived under several unsatisfactory presidents and triumphed over considerable adversity. The notion that he would commit suicide over something as petty as Obama's supposedly lacklustre governance is insulting to his character.

No. I think they would be disappointed at how many black people go around acting like fools. Not all black people go around and disrespect not only other people and their-selves. I know some black people that honestly hate being black because of the negativity it holds.

Yes because people in general aren't? I think everyone here kind of missed the point I am making. Also can we stop with the whole "everything and everyone were so much better back then" crap? Even back in the days of civil rights you still had Black Americans acting a damn fool. Just like you have those same types now because that's just life and it doesn't matter what color or colour your skin is or what have you. Some people are just stupid and a shame to not just their skin color group but HUMANITY as a whole.

People in general are idiots. It's just a shame that from what I have seen, there are many black people that act more so. I have seen so many black kids who are from middle class trying to get into the "gang life" when their PARENTS escaped that kind of life. I have seen many black kids, at the same time, who are from poverty and see drugs, and gangs roaming around their neighborhood and actually WANT something better than what they have now.

In society, majority expect very little positive things from African Americans. Why? Because of racism, stereotypes, and statistics. Statistics have shown that Male African-Americans are more likely to die before the age of 18. Not because of disease or anything like that. But because of gang violence and drug abuse. There was even an article about how "Black Women are Less attractive than other Women from Different Races".
