how do you determine blackness, anyways... is it by like color of your skin? or is it only if you are african? please respond

hmm... well, I'm half-black, half-Afrikaans South African, and even though I'm pretty pale... for a black person, I still consider myself African American, and I guess I just find Black History Month kinda weird. Like the gov't is trying to attempt at being culturally educational, and ending up looking like awkward and kinda racist...

Does anyone besides Disney Channel celebrate BHM?

I do and I'm not even Black. I believe everyone should at least honor this month and the ALL the other months to learn about the people around them. Maybe then the world would be a little safer and saner since we wouldn't be so fearful and hateful towards each other ya know.
