Uh-oh. She seemed to be getting all serious again...darn, just when he felt he had been getting at her happy side. "Ah, the truth always hurts. But come on, Rynn...humor me for once, let me see that you're not serious all the time. Is that really so hard?" The sad thing was, Akiko knew it was extremely difficult for her. But if he could have the chance to help her shed the 'fake personality' that he sensed on her, then it would be a good thing. if only she weren't so stubborn in accepting his help. The next thing that she said actually brought a hint of sadness to his face for a moment, which was extremely rare coming from him, but the soft, caring smile returned. "Rynn...no, you're not a joker. Not at all. It's just...i'd like to see you happy, really, truly happy, even if it was just for a little while. It seems like something is keeping you from that, and it's not good for you. You're my friend, Rynn. I just want you to be in the best condition you can be. It wasn't an insult, honestly. Do you really think I would actually be able to make an insult? I can barely pull off flirty, I have a long way to go until anger, Rynn."

Akiko gave a light chuckle, despite what his friend might be feeling on the inside. Was she really that unsure? But the next words that came out of her lips surprised him even more. She wanted to fight? That sounded like something that she would say, but...wait. Maybe this was the sort of chance he had been looking for. Just...just maybe...Akiko flipped back, doing a sort of energetic hop alternating between legs for a moment, pulling out one of his pistols. "Well...alright Rynn. But we fight with conditions. If I win, I get to treat your wounds...hmm..." Akiko contemplated for a moment, deciding to toss in something to make sure that she fought her hardest. "AND...we go to the Overlook above the city tonight, on a date. You get to pick your own conditions. I want to make sure you have something to fight for." It seemed like this fight was going to be fun, if her conditions were good enough. If they were, then Akiko would have to fight harder as well, now that a date with Rynn was on the line. "Your conditions can be anything you want, I want you fighting at your best today."

Killing is all i know.

This girl......WANTED TO TALK TO THE DEMON! Oh no, that wasn't going to happen any time soon. Klex seemed to think the same thing as the clones dropped from the building lashing at the young man once more. Blocking with his blade Alexander looked to be forced on the defensive. One clone however broke off from the fight walking slowly to the girl.
"Talking does nothing child. In the end your world will be mine and every life will be consumed."
Lifting its hand as if it was going to strike the girl just for acting as if stopping the battle was a sin. This however was interrupted by the a sound that was hard to explain. It was almost as if something was moving faster then most beings could perceive. Instantly the clones hand hit the floor sliced clean from its body.

In the background the other clones fell to the floor cut into five parts each. At that moment Alexander appeared before the unknown girl only to swiftly kick the attacking clone into the building in the distance. Turning to the girl Alex held a look of shear anger.
"What in the burning hells are you thinking! That thing isn't here to play nice! No amount of talk will make him listen!" Tossing his blade at the clone the tip landing right between its eyes.
Almost as if you retaliate the remaining clones still inside the building bombarded the area with blasts of demon energy. Oddly enough Alex blocked the girl from the hits taking several to the back.Once more the slayer was forced to his knees unable to stand. What had caused him to act so foolishly? This girl should have been left to fend for herself. But what was done couldn't be undone.

User ImageMina stood as tall as she could as the clone approached, unintimidated by the demon's clone which towered over her. Even when it raised its hand, she boldly stared back into its fiery eyes. If it wanted to strike her, then that was fine. She would gladly turn the other cheek if that meant she could get the demon to listen. Not that it wouldn't hurt...

Her courage faltered at the last second and she flinched, shutting her eyes. But when she opened them, she found that the hand was no longer attached to the demon's arm. The other clones had fallen around her as well. She turned to look away from the carnage, only to come face to face with the other slayer. The one that could only be known as The Omen.

"You won't know until you try!" she retorted just as passionately. "And if they don't listen the first time, I'll try and try and try again! Mother Earth is bountiful, and there has to be a way for humans and--" She was cut short by a bombardment of demonic energy. She curled her body protectively on instinct, but The Omen had taken the hits for her. She didn't understand... all of the rumors spoke of how ruthless he was. How he was an effective slayer, but a loose cannon at the same time. Not a shield of the people, but a sword that just happened to be aimed at the demons because they made for better sport. The legends spoke of how he would even kill other slayers if they got in his way... exactly as she was doing. But he wasn't attacking her... in fact, he was protecting her with his own body. If anything, he was exactly the savior that the rumors said he was not. Yes, she had felt the dark part of him when he was up on the top floor fighting Klex by himself, and yes it was terrifying, but his actions showed that there was another side of him.

Her expression slowly softened from its initial defiance. He was hurt... really hurt. And it was because of her recklessness. She knelt down beside him, wrapping her arm around his shoulder to keep him steady. "I'm sorry..." she said quietly. "I was being selfish. Forgive me." She then turned to look at the clones that were still stationed inside the building. Klex the Many... she couldn't tell which was the real Klex, or if there even was one true Klex. So, she looked at each one in turn. Now she was no longer pleading. She was fine with allowing herself to be hurt, but when the demon caused the suffering of others, she could no longer tolerate his actions.

Another blast came at the two slayers on the ground, but this time Mina waved her hand and with a single deft motion, pulled out a fan which deflected the shot. "Klex!" she said to the demons, dropping the polite 'sir' now. "I regret that it has come to this. But I cannot allow you to continue doing as you please." Mina stood up, pushing her hair out of her face, and pointing her fan at the demons. Although she hated fighting, even she could recognize when it was absolutely necessary. Her eyes hardened, and she motioned to the demons as if to say 'Bring it on.'

Damn it, by the smile on the young boy's lips he'd already suspected the kitten was not what it seemed. Oh well, only meant that this slayer was smart enough to keep himself alive by suspecting everything. "I figured that was where you'd be headed boy. I'll leave you to your fun, it seems I have my own problem to deal with." Deanne said, her purr of a voice tainted with the slightest hint of venom as she stared off in the direction Michail had slithered off to. "I won't be far. If you find yourself in trouble with this demon, which I doubt you will, just call for D. I'll hear you." She looked out at him from the shadow the brim of her hat cast over he face with an evil grin, only her scorching red eyes and her glinting fangs clearly visible to him. Before she left she watched as he changed into his demonic form and chuckled darkly. "Impressive, for a child." To be honest Deanne was actually rather impressed by his aura. If she hadn't known he were a slayer she'd have taken him on then and there and probably had one hell of a time trying to best him.

"See you around kid." she said with a tilt of her hat as he launched himself into the air. With that Deanne sped off to find Michail. She could sense another slayer and wolf demon in the area but neither of them matter to her at this moment, hell maybe the other slayer will help out the boy and she wouldn't have to. Deanne passed through three rooms before she picked up the trail she'd been looking for. Slowing her pace she glanced around the room. Seemed it might have been a living room once upon a time with it's moth eaten couches and rotting wall hangings. She couldn't help but smile when she heard Michail moving beneath her. Deanne took out her pistols and shot around her feet, sending herself calmly plummeting into pure darkness. Landing with a thud she put her guns back on her hip and wrapped her fingers around the end of her whip. "Did you really think you could hide from me Michail? The smell of your blood is so strong it sickens me." With a loud crack of the whip Deanne had her target in her grasp, pulling him towards her quickly and stomping her foot down hard on his chest. The crunching sound of his ribs under her boot made her trademark smirk return to her lips. "Hello brother dear, did you miss me?" Of coarse he was not really her brother, simply one of her fathers followers turned by the same blood that poisoned Deanne's soul.

The creature cried out in pain, only able to claw at her leg with one claw like hand seeing as she'd already blown the other off. "You'll never get to him. You'll be dead before you're even close! There's a hefty price on your head Dunpeel!" Deanne pushed down harder on his chest. "Let them come, less leg work for me to do." Michail whimpered in pain as she took out one of her pistols and aimed it at his head. "Don't worry Micky, your master will be joining you in hell soon enough." and with the pull of the trigger his skull shattered into pieces, his blood splattering all over the ground. "You just better hope I don't come with him."

Killing is all i know.

This girl was really something. One minute she was protesting the fight and now she was ready to join it.Not only that she also apologized for being selfish? If he hadn't taken so many blasts he might have been confused. Alexander's body felt like it had been turned to stone. It would take time for him to be able to stand again let alone fight. Time being the one thing in short supply. While he hated to think it this girl would have to hold the beast off just long enough for Omen to gain his power again. As the girl gave her proclamation the clones burst into laughter. Six more dropping from the building to the ground.
"Your thousands of years to late to be talking like that child. I have consumed more then enough souls to beat anything you can throw at me. More over you stand in the way of my next meal. That boy is the product of what so many demons of hell have tried to accomplish. A body that can house the powers of demons without the limitation that comes with this realm. I shall have his power and then even you slayers will food for the fire!"
The clones then rushed the girl will full intent to kill her.

Alex did his best to focus past the pain. Gods it was harder then anything at this point. His armor had faded and his form returned to normal. With the strain of his demon form no longer pushing on him the process would take less time.
"LISTEN! Just hold him off for a few minutes........if you can then i'll give him a good show." Alex screamed as his energy slowly started to strengthen. In a few minutes he would be able to repair his body and unleash one more of his gifts on the so called "All powerful" demon. Watching the look of horror would be the highlight of Alexnader's day.

User ImageMina was undaunted by the mocking laughter of the demon's clones. "You would do well not to underestimate me, demon," she warned. Although, she wondered what the demon had meant by 'a body that can house the powers of demons without the limitations that come with this realm'. What was he, exactly? It was clear that he was not a normal human, but then again, neither was she. She glanced back at the white-haired boy, whose armor had disappeared. Without it, he looked significantly more vulnerable. Innocent, almost. She shook the thought and turned back to face the demons.

"You can leave it to me," she said confidently, walking forward towards the oncoming clones. "Please do not come until you are fully prepared." Then, with a forceful swing, she threw her fan, sending it flying like a boomerang and hitting one of the clones in the face, sending it sprawling backwards. The fan rebounded and she leapt up to catch it, before swinging it back down at another clone and clubbing it with the fan's thick metal frame. The demon was not seriously injured; she made sure of that, just dazed. The other clones rushed at her, but Mina stepped easily out of the way, able to see their movements before they happened.

She seemed to be dancing as she dodged their attacks left and right, periodically elbowing one of them in the gut or hitting them with her fan. From the demons' perspective, blow after blow was hitting nothing but air, and Klex was getting frustrated with his seemingly harmless but annoyingly elusive target. Mina was, however, beginning to tire. There were many of them, and it took all her concentration just to avoid their attacks. Hoping to end the fight, she took a chance and closed her eyes, attempting to set up a banishing circle. The ground began to glow with a golden light, but before the spell could be completed, one of the clones got her from behind, kicking her in the back. She grunted as she was knocked off-balance, and before she could recover, another one of the demons grabbed her by the hair and slammed her face into the ground. That moment of vulnerability was all that the clones needed to overwhelm her. They piled on top of her, pinning her arms and legs down to the ground so that she couldn't get away. She struggled in their grip, but was ultimately helpless against the strength of six of Klex's clones.

Tala, the Blood Wolf

This was a dilemma to be sure. On the one hand, Klex was a fellow demon whom she had enhanced with her own magics; on the other she had finally encountered a disjointed group of slayers who actually gave him some pause. While she was inclined to leave them to the mercy - or lack thereof - of the multiplication demon, perhaps this group deserved a second chance. After all, the young boy had just boasted that he had something up his sleeve, and Tala was... intrigued as to what that might be.

Bounding down the decrepit old building she had been using, she casually approached the battlefield with a quiet air of confidence. The pair of anklets about her left foot jingled softly as she stepped, her simple and soft clothes draped across her lithe frame fluttered gently in the light breeze. She knew she could easily wipe the floor with everyone here, especially in their current states, so it wasn't as though she was carrying any false bravado. It was the fortune of all that she wasn't the aggressive type.

Her presence was first noticed by one of Klex's duplicates, causing the others to pause and glance in her direction. "My Lady!" they announced in an echo, those not busy nodding their heads in respect to a greater demon. "I didn't realize I had an audience! Your boon had proven most useful against these pesky vermin. Would it please you to share of this feast?"

Tala only smirked in response. "I have not come here to dine, Klex; were I hungry it would be you who would provide the greatest nourishment." Stopping a small distance away so as not to appear intruding upon the battleground, she eyed the temporarily incapacitated slayers with judging gazes. Were these two really worth saving? It seemed a far cry, though they had both proven their determination in their own ways: the young woman offering diplomacy even in the face of death and danger; the boy his own fierce will for battle.

It was as the young Omen made contact with her that a mischievous grin played at her lips and her tail began to swish to and fro in excitement. Yes, she truly was intrigued at what he may do. "I admit I am rather disappointed in you, Klex the Many. Even with the power I have given you these two slayers have given you so much trouble." Turning her bloody irises to the form she knew to be the actual demon, she put up an irritated facade. "Perhaps I should retract my boon and see that it is better spent elsewhere?"

"N-no my Lady! I assure you I am more than capable of dealing with these unruly children!" While the simple solution would have been to merely prove himself by finishing the battle, his injured pride and fear of losing the strength Tala had granted him left him indecisive. This lack of attention would hopefully be the opening the two slayers needed to show their worth; if they still failed to defeat this lesser demon even with her interdiction, the blood wolf would be most displeased.

Alexander Roh, The Omen

Killing is all i know.

The girls assurance was more then enough for Alexander to start his work. While still on his knees the half blood gathered the energy of the handful of imps he killed before. The feeling of the bones mending and resetting was hellish but necessary. Sure his body wouldn't be one hundred percent but it would hold together for his next task. Gathering the remaining energy into his chest Omen started chanting something. At first the words were to low to be heard but that soon changed.
"By the the black blood of the first Reaver i call for thee. Let your bite be felt by my enemies. Let their scream empower you and their flesh slate your hunger. Come forth Abaddon!"

The second the last phrase ended the one blade his father used to slayer the most hated demons appeared before the slayer. Energy arching from the hilt of the weapon like lightning. Lifting himself up Alexander gripped the blade only to have its power surge within him. Instantly the gloves on his hands burned off as both arms tensed to the point his muscles looked about ready to burst. Almost as quickly as the blade had appeared the slayer now holding it vanished from sight. The clones pinning Mina down froze for a second before flying off the young girl then turning to dust in mid air. When Alexander appeared again the blade was at the throat of the demon that the unknown female wolf demon had been talking too. Clearly she knew the real form of this aggravating monster. Klex held a look of terror in his burning red eyes.
"HOW! HOW CAN YOU EVEN HOLD THAT WEAPON!" it seemed he knew all too well what this blade was capable of.

"Oh, so you know my fathers sword do you? Then i guess you know what happens to demons who it cuts down." Omen held a devilish grin again. He could feel Klex getting ready to move away. Sadly that wasn't going to be an option anymore. Quickly the slayer shifted the weapon forcing the blade upward and slashing down with a force that caused demons body to peel in two. The force of the strike had not just split the demon but the buildings behind him as well.
Reacting to the weapons power the remains shriveled up as the life force within flowed into the blade. Letting go of his weapon Alexander braced himself for what would come next. The recoil of power overwhelmed the young man causing simply fall to the ground. body smoking and bleeding from the force he had put himself through.

User ImageMina tried to look up, but the demons on top of her were holding her head down. Even without looking though, she could sense another life being nearby, and she could also sense Klex's emotions turning from glee to fear. Uncertainty. He was talking to a demon which far outranked him, and given how powerful he already was, Mina shuddered to think what his superior would be like. Still, it was that very demon's presence that gave Klex's clones enough pause not to simply kill her right then and there, so she at least had to be thankful for that.

Then she felt a surge of power, and although she couldn't see what was happening, she felt the weight being taken off of her back and she knew that the Omen had managed to do whatever it was that he was planning. Free from their hold, she picked herself up and saw that all the clones were gone, and the Omen was holding his strange new blade at the multiplying demon's throat. She tried to scream, but no sound came out, and it would've been too late anyway: the demon had been hewn cleanly in two. There was no way the demon could have survived that overwhelming attack... he was yet another casualty in this senseless war.

However, the white-haired slayer had collapsed as well, his power spent. Mina rushed to his side, knelt down next to his body, and placed two fingers on his wrist. Thankfully, he was still alive... but an even greater demon was still present. She placed herself protectively between him and the wolf demon, her iron fan at ready. The wolf demon had made no move yet, but she still had to be cautious. It was her recklessness that put her fellow slayer in this situation in the first place, and she was not about to let him die to a different demon.

"And what of you?" she asked, watching the demon carefully. She tried to sense the demon's emotions, but all she was reading was... amusement? Her mind was filled with layers and layers of deceit, making it hard for Mina to distinguish the facade from the genuine emotion. "Will you finish the job that Klex started?" Her posture made it clear that this was only going to happen over her dead body. And indeed, she was well aware that if the wolf demon chose to attack, she stood no chance. Regardless, Mina showed no fear at the prospect of death.

Now that her first real target was nothing but a pile of bones and a horrid blood stain thanks to the little imps that fed off his flesh Deanne decided she should check up on the battle above. She shifted through the shadows and soon was overlooking another bloody scene. The demon Klex lay defeated, a young female slayer stood somewhat in awe, the wold demon from earlier lurked within the room and the boy she'd met now lay in what looked like excruciating pain. Deanne was hidden by the shadow of the throne of flesh before her. "If you're thinking of running to him girl I suggest staying back. He used quite powerful magic for that display and there's no way of knowing if it could harm you or not. As for you demon, if you wish to fight us another day you should probably keep your distance as well. I'd kill you now but today you are none of my concern." The shapely Dunpeel stepped out into view, approaching the other female slayer carefully. This girl was placing herself between the boy and the wolf. D leaned in to whisper to Mina's ear. "Be weary of this one. Something made Klex fear her or he would not have lost so soon." She then turned to look at Omen, tilting her hat up to finally show her face. "Boy. Is there anything that can be done for you? I can heal mortal pain but have never tried it on one such as you. If I were to try and draw it out would it only kill me?" Why in the world she wanted to help these people Deanne had no clue. But something compelled her to at least offer.

The mood of the room was a confusing one. Why had the Wolf helped these slayers as she had. This fight would not have ended without a distraction. And what power did she hold over the target? No matter what Deanne was convinced she was not to be trusted.

Tala, the Blood Wolf

Tala smiled as she saw her hopes come true before her eyes. The fabled sword Abaddon was quite the ace in the hole; even holding the blade was no small feat, to wield it was on an entirely different level. She bided her time as Klex and his clones were decimated under the surge of power, pulling her enchantment back from her fellow demon seconds before his end. Now the only remaining question would be if the white-haired slayer would survive the repercussions of using such a devastating weapon.

To say she was amused would be an immense understatement. She was elated that a group of slayers had finally shown that they might eventually be capable of contending with those she herself desired to be rid of. The antics the young woman displayed were too much however, and Tala lifted a hand to cover her mouth as she laughed aloud. "Oh I would say that Klex's work is very much finished!" Regaining her composure, she met Mina's stern gaze with a playful one of her own, her tail reflecting her expression. "You have proven yourselves worthy of my interest. Be at ease, I have no quarrel with you."

As the other female slayer at last returned to the area, Tala feigned a hurtful visage at her words, her tail slinking between her legs. "I am beginning to feel my intervention is going quite unappreciated! At least the boy there has the wisdom to keep his mouth closed if he cannot thank another for their help."

Her goals achieved and her presence required elsewhere, the wolf demon turned to take her leave though glanced over her shoulder with the amused grin once again in place. "See to it that the boy does not perish just yet; all of you still have much larger parts to play." With graceful steps she then made her exit, waving to those behind her and offering a farewell message as she vanished around a nearby corner. "Stay alive, slayers. We may yet meet again."

Alexander Roh, The Omen

Killing is all i know.

Alexanders vision had become a blur of colors as he lay face down in the dirt. Even his hearing was muffled in this state making him a worthless lump of flesh at this point. In the time he had started the fight to now he had suffered more damage then he wanted too. Even going as far as to summon that hellish blade. The muscles in his arms had be shredded to the point of no return. The price he payed for using a weapon that was beyond him. Still it was worth it in Alexander's eyes. Any demon stupid enough to say his fathers name was quick to forfeit their life. Any remains of the slayers past had to be destroyed no matter how small. Slowly Alex started to regain a small amount of feeling and enough brain power to comprehend what was going on about him.
"Leave...... the demon.... alone.......She spared us....... its not like....we wont ever...see her....again..." each word stung like a thousand daggers.

Even with his arms in the state they were the stubborn slayer forced himself upright. Eyes glossed over and losing their color as his body churned in pain. Every ounce of focus was required just to keep himself from blacking out.
"I'd really..... like to get back..... and take a.... nice long ....nap.....if that isnt.... to much to ask."
It was almost like back in the days of his fathers training. The pit he called home and the darkness it brought. Feeling the same way he had felt all those many times before. Lifting himself back too his feet the slayer felt the shredded shirt he wore finally rip. His body was nothing more then a living tapestry of pain. Scars lined most of his flesh as well as the new wounds he had gained. Still his body was built to endure this kind of punishment as was anyone of Reaver blood.

They were hells shock troops. Sent to the front lines to battle without end with little hope of life after. Ravers were a force of hell that often overwhelmed the competition my shear strength. That was until the court saw them as a threat. The Ravers strength meant nothing when the court sent their forces to end them. The few that escaped made their way to earth in order to find some way to gain and edge. The outcome of this venture was Alexander. Retaining all his fathers powers without the binding laws of the human world. But those powers had to be bound in order for the body to adjust. Since his fathers demise those seals lay dormant within him just waiting to be set free. But for now Alex was a normal half blood.....for all that really mattered.

As Deanne watched the demons departure she smirked. "Not unappreciated. Just not trusted. Until we meet again." She muttered, know the demon would hear her. Hearing the boy speak made her stomach turn somewhat, he was in so much pain. The Dunpeel listened to his words. "Don't worry, she won't be harmed just yet." She took cautious steps towards him as he asked to go home, trying to pull himself to his feet. He probably could have walked back but for some reason D couldn't let him put himself through that. She reached him just as he stood. "I'll carry you, if you don't mind. Those muscle need rest. And by the way, I'm not accustomed to being told no." The woman stooped slightly to sweep him into her arms. The sight was strange indeed. Wasn't it usually the damsel cradled in the safety of her hero's arms? The thought made D chuckle slightly. She turned and gave the other female slayer a reassuring smile, this was not like her at all! What had gotten into her? "Are you ready to leave miss? You could look like you could use a drink." "You're going soft already D."

User ImageBut of course. If the wolf demon wanted them dead, it would have been over already and they wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place. But what was it exactly that she was looking for? Her words were cryptic at best, and though Mina could read emotions, she could not read thoughts. This was the first demon she had met who did not try to attack her on sight. Did that mean there was hope for a peaceful resolution between human and demon kind?

"Wait!" she started, wanting to speak with the demon some more, but she was already gone. Mina's arms dropped to her side. She was puzzled, but thankful to be alive. Now all that mattered was making sure that the Omen would make it out of this ordeal. Fortunately the taller woman had volunteered to to carry and tend to him, but that didn't mean she would abandon him quite yet.

"Yes, I am," she said, smiling at the hatted woman who seemed like such a kind and gentle soul, despite her... provocative wardrobe. Mina could look past that. It doesn't matter what you wear or look like on the outside, it's the inside that counts. "My name is Mina Arahan, and you have my thanks. I won't be drinking, but I appreciate the offer." She began to follow Deanne as they made their way back into town. They must have looked to be a strange group: a gun-toting witch in black, a young priestess in frayed robes, and a half blood boy who was slowly bleeding out. Mina glanced at him periodically to check on his condition, and just looking at his wounds was painful.

Alexander Roh, The Omen

Killing is all i know.

The return trip felt like to took forever. But before he knew it Alexander woke in the bed within the Inn. How he got here was beyond him. Had D and the other girl brought him all the way back? It was then he noticed that his wounds had been treated and his body had been wrapped in bandages. Gods, how long had he been out? Lifting himself up Alexander looked around the room. The sun had started to go down covering the town in twilight. This brought a calming feeling to the slayer. So many years of laying in the dark pit had made this the only time he could relax.
The alone time was interrupted by the door opening. In came the same young girl that had served him his first meal when he entered town. She held a bowl with what looked to be stew and a large slice of bread.
"You missed dinner so the cook made this for you. We heard from your companions that Klex is no more. Thank you..... He took so many people from town that we feared we would be next."

Alexander shook his head hearing the girl. There was no need to thank someone for doing their job after all. Grabbing the bowl the half blood started to eat a bit before returning his gaze to the waitress.
"Thank you for bringing me this. If you could please tell those girls i should be on my feet by the morning."
The waitress nodded before taking her leave. Once again alone the slayer was left too his thoughts. The room seemed so empty compared to others he had stayed in before. Only a single dresser in the far corner, a large arm chair that looked to be salvaged from the ruined city. The curtains were nothing more then long rags that only covered part of the window. Despite the rundown look it had been cleaned perfectly. A single candle lit the room with a pleasant glow. The wax of the candle gave a abnormally fresh smell.

Thoughts of his mother slowly entered his mind. Would she have accepted the way things had turned out if she had not been killed by his father? Was this the best way to live? Rubbing his eyes Alex hated this feeling. He couldn't fight the blood that coursed within him. Fighting was all he knew and that wasn't likely to change.

So i'll just make them wish for hell
