Shadow eyes slowly opened as she has been in a deep sleep for acouple of days. not remembering how she fell to sleep, Shadow gave a small yawn. her long wolf ears perked up, as she heard movement. turning her head sharply to the direction, steped out was a bunny. licking her lips, of hunger. Shadow leaped towards the poor animal. killing it as it kicked her and scratched for its freedom. after a few mins it stoped as it was now dead. Shadow trotong back to the den, where her son Onai was. seeing if he was hungery.

arriving back to the den, Shadow barked for Onai to come out. "Onai?!" her hazel eyes looking about, as she was listening for movement.

[hehe yep. And Onai isn't in the den, he was sent to some cave by daddy]

Onai's ears perked at the sounds of a voice that the tunnel carried to him. He looked at the hole in the wall and walked over to it. He listened again to here it was his mothers voice. He knew he wasn't suppose to leave the cave, his father said so. So Onai stuck his head in the tunnel and asked. "mom?"

Shadow lifted up her head, as her long wolf earsm perked up hearing a faint voice of a small voice "Onai!" she barked out loudly. having an idea he was not far from the den. Shadow gave a small howl to her young her young prince. "yes its mommie!" she replied to him. trotting over to where Onai was placed at. arriving to her son, a small smile appear on her wolf lips. knowing he was fine.

"Mommy!" Onai said looking up at her. He was glad to see she was ok, his father had scared him with the news of the humans and thought she might be in trouble. He sat and looked up at her, overjoyed she was here. He didn't like to be alone.

Shadow barked playfully at him. "Onai...my little pup prince." she said softly, as she walked over to him. her head rubbed against her sons head softly. showing her affection for him. "are you hungery?" she asked. sitting infront of him.

Onai gave a little wolf smile when his mother rubbed her head on his. When she asked if he was hungry, he nodded. "Yes I am." he said. He was really hungry since he hadn't eaten for a wile, and just woke up from a nap before being told to go here.

Shadow gave a small smile. "good..me too" she stated to him. giving Onai a small nudge to walk along side her. as they were both going to leave the safe zone. "we are going to have rabbit" Shadow stated to her son "but before we eat, we must pray to our Mother Wolf" which was alway her tradition to pray before she ate her food. giving thanks to the Wolf who allowed them to hunt and be feed.

Onai fallowed next to her, and he knew they had to pray to the mother wolf. He licked his lips at the thought of rabbit, he liked it a lot. He wondered if maybe today would be his first kill if she let him try. He would probably fail and she would have to catch it, but he still wanted to try.

both arriving to the dead rabbit she had killed, was laying on the floor waiting to be eaten. Shadow now sat infront of the animal as she already did the hunting. "where is your father?" she asked abit concerning, as her head titled abit. her hazel eyes watching Onai. then she looked back at the dead animal, as she bowed her head to the animal.

He was a little disappointed that there was a rabbit already dead waiting for them. When she asked about where his father was, his ears folded down a little. "I dont know...he sent me up the tunnel talking about humans. He said that he would come back safe..." Onai said. He looked at her with worry clear in his eyes.

Shadow remained quiet as Onai spoke where her loving husband was. abit worried for Crows safty. "dear Mother Wolf thank you for letting us feed off this animal, as it too had a family of its own. giving us the strength to live on your lands." then her hazel eyes looked at her pups "dig in..." she said softly to him. ::Crow do be careful...:: she thought quietly. as a small smile appeared on her lips.

Onai went closer to the rabbit and laid down. He started to eat it, but slowly because he was worried about his father. He didn't want anything to happen to him, because he loved his father and didn't want to see his mother sad. Another reason he ate slow was so that she could have some too if she wanted.

Shadow gave a small laugh. watching her son eat, and feeling his emotion of worriness. "dont worry my dear wolf prince." Shadow leaned over and tore a piece from the rabbit. "knowing your father, he will be fine...when we were in the same pack together, trouble was his middle name" shaking head, at the thought of how he would always get in trouble. Shadow laied down, and started to eat her piece of the rabbit.

Onai felt a little bit more relieved when she reassured him that his father would be ok. He started to eat a little bit faster, but not greedily. He never ate greedily because it wasn't right. He ate only what he needed, and shared with others.

chewing on the bone, she gave a small yawn. after eating made her fell sleepy once more. lowering her head, "im going to take a small nap...stay close to me, and down wonder about...this yin yang clan is about...and they dont take likely to pups like you" Shadow warned her son. there are enemies out in the forest that would destory a pack for their own amusment.
