There are two phases of the lunar cycle, and those phases are the lunar cycle itself and then the blood cycle. When the moon turns blood red, thats when the mating seson begains, But also the curse begains for the wolves. During this time, its when the Alpha can be over thrown and dropped if someone in the pack thinks he and or she is stronger then the leader. Thus, setting the pack off balance. But this rarly happens. Another curse is, the few chosen by the Alphas can shift for three nights and walk among the humans. But this again is very dangerious for the pack. Sence Humans are easily attached, Some decide to betray the pack to live amungst the humans till the next blood moon. But only certain wolves can change to human. Those would be the Beta's the ones the Alphas trust the most.

Alpha's on the other hand can change at will for they have mastered the power of transformation. But, it comes with a price ever time they shift, they lose years within the pack shortning there lifespan from changing there years as a wolf to those of a humans. So in short, The chances an Alpha would change to human are slim incase of dire emergancy.

It of course is the year 2045 and the wolf population has grown close to extinct.All that remain are a few surviving wolves, but could they all put aside there diffrences and work as a team, a family and a Pack to survive? Second note, Humans do rome in the forest and woods looking for Wolves, There are hunters so be on gaurd my little pack.

So, In short here are the rules.

4.No god moding, no auto hitting or any of that jazz unless its somthing your doing yourself. ((ex. Eric walks into the woods to get some water and a coyoty aproches him growling preparing to fight. Lunging at the canaine, Eric's teeth sink into the beasts neck where he finaly snaps it)) I know, not the best example but, you get the picture.

Rank Descriptions

Alphas
They rule the pack; their word is law. Usually the strongest male and female, they are responsible for protecting the entire pack and making sure all the members are safe. They deal with important decisions like making allies and initiating hunts.



Betas
The second-in-commands; they rank just under the alpha male and female. When the alphas are away, they are in control and are responsible for making sure things run smoothly. They also handle pack issues delegated to them by the alphas.



Gammas
They rank under the alpha and beta, but above everyone else. Usually responsible for breaking up squabbles within the pack. They are in charge when the Alphas and Betas are not around.



Deltas
Under the alpha, beta, and gamma, and above everyone else. This position is usually reserved for a member of the pack who is being tested before given a higher position.



Omegas
The lowest of the low. This unwanted position is for trouble-makers and wrong-doers. Wolves in this position are often ridiculed and made fun of, and are the last to eat at a kill. Do something wrong and this is where you'll end up.

Warriors
They protect the pack, and are willing to die for thier family.



Spies
They do undercover work and gather important information for the Alphas. Usually going to other packs and attempting to destroy the pack by gaining vauleable information.



PupSitters
They watch the pups while the pack goes on hunts..ect.



Pups
They are the future of the pack. Pups are ranked by thier parents. For instance an omegas pups would never be allowed to challange an Alphas offspring or Mate with the child of an Alpha.

As of of right now, It is mating seson sence it is Fall. Remember, you cannot mate with a wolf of a higher rank, and if you do, It is punishable for it is rape. Weather its killed off, or just banishment and you run the RP as a rouge from now on.

A sigh escaped the lips of the Alpha. His scar over his eye was still shining in the dark as he stared up to the night sky looking at the stars. His love, His mate had grew apon him and calmed his soul. He smiled and nodded to the moon and stars softly as his tail wagged. "Thank you mother wolf for giving her to me, Thank you for my new family and my land, in this I pray to thee, Thanks" Bowing before the sky, he slowly stood and howled wondering just were Shadow was.

Shadow, was blowing bubbles in the river the was located in their home land. she loved to play with the fishes for they told her stories about the old times where there were wolfs walking about the lands. Shadow long wolf ears perked up, as she heard the howl that she loved to hear. made her feel she was never alone, in this world. lifting her head up, she returned her pure howl. Shadow indicating to Crow she was at the River.

Shadow turned around lsowly as Crow arrived to her side. nuzzleing her loveingly, she playfully rubbed her head against his fur. show her embracment to him. "it was quite interesting, Love." she sat down beside him. "there were children playing in the fields were i usually, sit and sunbath" giving a small laugh at the thought of humans, especially the small one, which they were not consider threats till they got older. "and wonder about, looking carefully" stating the last word abit playfully to Crow that he shouldnt worry about anything.

Crow nodded and nuzzled her again. "Just be careful, Our pack is small and we need to find others, if there are any" He says softly. His eyes closed as he sat beside her laying by the water. "So I have a fresh kill from tonight while you were gone, If your hungry" he says lightly. He was worried the children would tell the adults about them. Sence they were so scarce, He knew they would be hunted.

Shadow quietly listening to Crow, as she playfully growled. the looked at him with a soft espression of awe. "i missed you to Crow" rubbing her head against his fur "nothing can happen to me..Crow...i have you." making him feel the mighty one, being able to do anything. but can he really? "you dont need to worry, Crow..i can handle my-self...i too am..POWERFUL" she whispered the words playfuly near his ear.

Shadow took off running towards the kill, as they were getting closer to the smell.

Kana's soft orbs glanced to the ildling sky. A sweet wind blew in her face allowing her to capture the forests taunting scents. Though Kana belonged to a pack, she was always off by herself enjoying the solitude. That was until the blood moon, but the blood moon haunted Kana. When it rose, she did what any other wolf did; Lust. But she also hungered, for something more then lust. A possible blood sample during dominance. Unlike other wolves she always had a taste for blood. During the blood moon she yearned both. Unfortunatly there wasn't a male eager enough to try it with her, so she usually stayed out of it.

Kana's ears perked at a rustling sound coming from the underbrush. Cocking her head to one side she listened, only to have her nose tell her it was a rabbit. Though hunting was always fun for her at this particular moment, she wasn't that interested.
