Feeling her hand on his shoulder he would have thought to smile if the situation had been a little bit different, or even the same within another time. However Adeodatus knew nothing good would come of this so as he was turned he expected the worst and was handed it most literally. The hit made a clean contact point across his cheek and his body swayed from it, but he didn't let out the slightest grunt.

What he did do however was roll his tongue around the inside of his mouth slowly before spitting out a little bit of blood. Perhaps it was his cheek hitting against his fang rather hard due to her slap or who knows what other cause it could have been from. Regardless of this he rubbed his cheek and said nothing, absolutely nothing to the woman he had sworn to protect.

It appeared in his mind that she was nothing but a liar to him at this point: A woman who told him that he could love her without the fear of such casualty of his own feelings. What a lie indeed that was.

Seeing the armor off in the distance he walked over to it and knelt down in front of it touching it softly. "...this fits..me?..."While assessing his loses he just figured to the victor go the spoils and took up the armor made for his lower frame as requested by the king and settled it onto his body.

Moving back toward Cere he looked over to her and spoke in a very coarse manner. "Remember what happened here today Cere in any case you wish to throw around that word once more..." Turning his eyes to Alex he said to her in the same manner. "You remember as well..."

Now for Diago, of all the people to say this to he honestly thought this man would be the last one that these words would ever be uttered towards. "Good job." With that he headed out of the castle doors to go toward the Artic Kingdom which would be a long journey but he was ready for it, besides Cere already stated that is where they were going.

Unfortunately on his way out he was stopped by one of the royal guards of Locrym who gripped onto his pant leg and bowed deeply. "My king wait! I beg of you not to leave us in this way" Casting his eyes down at the man he muttered in an exasperated voice. "What!?"

Diago Tasume the Ranger

Diago laughed at Adeo. "Seems you have an admirer." He started to walk past adeo but turned quickly slicing his sword through the little man and blowing the rest of him away with the shadow blast. "One we dont have time for... Lets move.." With that he started to walk again. This kindom was about to crumble anyway.

No, there must be more, and i shall find it.

"Your highness, wait - !" Alex gritted her teeth as the princess blew past her, but just as quickly drew back when she saw the new look in Cere's eye. For a moment, she thought she was actually going to kill Adeodatus, but then the mysterious stranger appeared to take the blow. The knight blinked and shook her head to make sure she was actually seeing straight - the strange man had appeared out of nowhere. Within moments, he was gone again.

Movement out of the corner of her eye caught her attention and she turned to see Diago attacking the smith.
"Diago, no!" she yelled, her eyes widening slightly. The creature had just been standing there - the last thing they needed to do was provoke it to attack. In only a matter of seconds, everyone had appeared to have gone kill-crazy.

To her relief, the creature did not retaliate and merely faded away. Sheathing her sword, she cautiously strode over to the armor left for her.
'From my form make the girl a new set of armor, and blade to match hers...'
From the King's form...

Alex took a step back, covering her mouth with a hand. She couldn't help but stare slightly at Adeodatus as he donned the armor meant for him without a thought.
It made magic-logical sense - after all, this was the kind of thing that happened in old stories - but it wasn't actually supposed to happen that way. She wasn't sure if she could handle wearing the remains of royalty as armor.

"Diago!" she barked sharply when the Ranger offed a royal guard without thinking. Looking disgusted, she glanced at Adeodatus.
"It would appear that since you slayed the last King, you have become the new one," she said to the Dark Hylian. "That may be how the monarchy works in this place."

"Well that's only half true" A voice rang out from high up in the archways that were left standing from the fight that happened not too long ago. Briskly a sigh soon followed only to have the man shake off the white substance that had once filled the room and lift his left hand to scratch his cheek. "Sir Farworth were you in a bathing house with Cere? Oh dear..." He said jokingly while scratching the bottom of his chin. "...and I missed it?"

Shrugging lightly he leaned forward a little and looked at his young apprentice or once apprentice. "You know I kept you away from this kingdom kid for a reason. Reason being to be very honest that guy you just killed was not only the king but..."There was a slight pause within his words hoping the male would guess it, but he just finished it abruptly getting very tired of waiting the whole two seconds he had been. "...your dad you little p***k." Dusk said in the most polite manner he could.

Leaning back against the high area with his hands behind his head he sighed again. "It would have really been bothersome for you to be raised by that man as a spoiled little rich kid...all that power gone to waste. Besides you wouldn't have met your dear little CereCere now would you? Eh. I was being greedy besides he sort of let me take you for some reason. Perhaps he knew this day would come. Who knows...maybe he just wanted to see Sir Farworth naked in the future." Dusk chuckled to himself about that last bit.

Diago Tasume the Ranger

Diago looks up into the rafters. "We dont have time for this..." He pulls out his swords and swings it once towards the man in the rafters. During the swing a black ball appeared in front of him. "This is new." He waits a second for it to attack where he swung but it just sits there. He takes his other sword and swings it through the ball still towards the man in the rafters. This time a beam appears from inside the ball and then fires out at double the power. The power sends him slidding a bit becuase he was not expecting it. "I hate these swords so much right now.."

No, there must be more, and i shall find it.

Narrowing his eyes as the darkness came Dusk's smile grew a bit more and he seemed exceptionally happy. While the darkness broke through his perch he simply rolled off only to have another bit of his roofing be destroyed so he lost his balance. Laughing durring all of this he flipped and spun like a court jester moving about the fixtures at the top with great ease and acrobatics.

Slipping once he fell towards the ground and finally drew his spear slamming it down to coushion his fall. Stabbing it into the ground he stood on the shaft that began to bend at a very odd angle that most spears wouldn't be able to do.

Taking a deep breath he folded his arms slowly and spoke in such a giddy tone. "Well we should head out now shouldn't we? I'm in desperate need to see some more sexy little ladies." Coughing into one of his hands he jumped from his spear and drew it from the ground latching it onto the back of his vest. Inward he whispered "yes, yes but you'll be the only one for me" Who he was talking to the world may never know.

Chuckling and taking off out of the castle he yelled back. "Come on you silly bastards your pace is toooo slow. Oooosha!" Dusk said with a clap and a general wave of his arms, or more of a flailing motion than anything else.

When the Dusk settles. You will all be dead
So tell me why should I stay, a prisoner of today?

"It appears that you've became far too blind, Adeodatus. Whatever it is you're thinking, it's probably wrong. But as I've said. You're far too blind, I doubt you'll ever come to your senses." Ceres retorted as she sped up to move past him and lead the group just as Diago took the life from the innocent. Narrowing her eyes, and growling in a sense, she stopped abruptly. "And you. Continue such behavior, especially in this place and I'll personally make a snack out of you for the Cerebus" After speaking her gaze whipped over to the man, Dusk, who ran out ahead seemingly out of now where, and in a very strange manner. There was.. something very strange about him.

She felt a divine presence, but was certain that Dusk couldn't be.. No.. She thought he was the -------- (CENSORED LOL) Perhaps... He was neither of those things, and her senses were playing tricks on her.. After all, she did anger Mortek greatly.. It could be the beginning of the revenge.. Walking out a bit more, until she found herself outside, she looked up.. The sun had finally faded.. the blanket of the night sky finally enveloped the earth. The breeze shifted to a cooler tune.

Sighing softly, she closed her eyes then slowly opened them to reveal them to be sapphire once more. "I feel.. a great pain again.. I don't want any more people to die... Not anymore, not because of me.." CereCere whimpered.

Hearing what Dusk had said Adeodatus sneered and sighed softly whispering. "You were more of a father than he ever was..." With that being said it could be thought that he had gotten so cold that he refused to even shed a tear over his own fathers death, at his own hands on top of all of that. It was of no matter because when CereCere walked by him and spoke up he stopped in his tracks, glared, and bowed his head lightly. She was the last person that he wanted to hear say he was wrong, but apparently she had said it and she was probably right.

Moving on he adjusted his blade to his side and let it regrow to it's full thick size. Adeodatus had begun to develop a hatred for the fact he was in love with the woman who was so far out of his reach that he couldn't touch her if he had some means to fly through space to get to her. What a funny little situation he had gotten himself into.

For now though he caught up with the young CereCere knowing full well that she changed back to her more innocent state of mind and whispered as he came to a stop at her side. "People will die, but it wont be because of you. This world can not survive without you. Nor can I so with my hands I will make sure that those who do die are needed to replenish the life of this world in preservation of your own life. Even if my aspirations are wrong that I can promise you, and when I die..."

The dark hylian started off slowly but didn't finish exactly he just looked down at her for a moment, narrowed his eyes just a slight bit and headed off towards hells pass so that they may get to the kingdom needed. "I'll bring all of those sitting high up that afflicted me in this life with me..." Adeodatus finished in his mind.

"Diago, Alex...Dusk lets try to make this a quick journey so she can go back to living her life as it were, and I can return to that cell as promised..." Turning his eyes to Alex he smirked. "...Did you think I forgot?" In truth he was still mad that there was no real explanation as to what happened here, but he was trying not to let it show.

Diago Tasume the Ranger

Diago did not care about what they said anymore, he could not control himself anymore, he wanted this quest to be done with. The princess was a spoiled brat it seems, godess or not, spoiled is spoiled, and she is the type he normally robs when low on cash. "Lets go..." He started to follow the man the was in the rafters and put his swords in their sheaths.

No, there must be more, and i shall find it.

Alex looked up to the ceiling when Dusk appeared, her expression a mix of irritation at his words and relief at having him back. She would never admit it, but she felt they had been slightly lacking without the joker's comic relief.
"Any more mentions of my person being naked and I'll destroy that silly hat of yours," she warned him, smirking slightly.

When Adeodatus mentioned making the journey quick so he could get back to his cell she merely glared at him disapprovingly. After a moment, however, the coldness of her expression melted slightly and the corners of her mouth crept dangerously close to a smile before she caught herself.
"I agree," she said, coughing lightly. "Let's get this done quickly and everyone back where they should be - especially you, Convict."

Glancing back at the pile of armor that was now presumably hers, she hesitated. Everyone was heading out, but she didn't want to leave it all just lying there untouched. Not to mention she'd just look silly carrying two sets of armor around.

"One moment," the knight grumbled, then quickly went about replacing her armor with the new set. Every once and a while she shot a glare in the direction of the men, just in case they were looking curiously to see what she looked like under the armor. It wasn't as if she was naked, but she almost felt it without the protective metal shell.

She was impressed when the new armor fit her like a glove - even better than her old equipment. After everything was fastened properly, she nodded and went on to follow the others.
"Ready."

As Adeodatus spoke CereCere slowly turned to face him. Looking up for a moment, silent.. Quickly she threw her arms around his mid-torso and jerked him close, hugging him. "Where.. will we go now?" She hesitantly asked, turning to press her cheek to the man's chest. "I don't know where that treasure is, that can help us.. But maybe someone I know does.. Unless, you already know the way? But, if it's to the north, we should pass through an allied kingdom..." She faded off, her voice picking up in a bit of a cheerful tone. "I'm sure they wouldn't mind us dropping by for supplies, and for relaxation.." CereCere faded off again, pulling back from Adeodatus with a faint smile.

As he turned to walk away she followed close behind him, looking back to Alex as she spoke. CereCere waved to her with a brighter smile, despite the heavy sadness still in her heart. "I suppose we're following him this time!" Cere exclaimed, giggling towards Alex. Lightly, she sprinted back to Adeodatus' side. Walking a bit a head she looked up to the man. "So.. Where were you? We were worried... Did you go somewhere special? Were you visiting someone? Oh.. and, you seem very familiar with Locrym. I thought you've never been here before?" She asked several questions, but not meant to be offensive at all.

"Ooof" Was all that came from the males lips as she threw her arms around his mid-section. In fact he was rather startled, and it showed in his expression. What on earth was she thinking: he couldn't help but wonder due to the situation her actions now was the last thing he had expected that's for sure. Regardless he looked down at her with a very puzzled face as she spoke.

Letting out a very heavy sigh he lifted a brow and continued to listen to her until she had finished. Once she had he muttered. "You wouldn't just let me stay angry hm?" Meaning that it was rather hard for him to stay mad at the woman. Which although it was true he was sure that was not her actual intention. That was of no consequence to be completely honest and he realized this.

Looking over to Alex and hearing her comments about him being a convict he simply replied. "For a while there I thought you had forgotten. I surely hadn't." Obviously he was back to teasing the girl in his weird manner fo doing so.

Ahead he walked without saying anything else on the subject, and kept silent to himself only letting his thoughts prevail within his mind. Diago's current attitude was at the forefront, because with his kill-crazy sort of thing he had going on at the moment Adeodatus thought it could be useful in the place that they were venturing off into. That much being said he slowly folded his arms and contemplated more about the topic. After all it could be used, but at the same time what if the man decided to turn against them? It could end up getting messy being that he was not someone to take lightly.

Harnessing a very serious expression on his face Adeodatus's concentration was completely shattered when Cere walked in front of him and began to question him. To these questions he answered them as simply as he could without giving off a rude demeanor. " I was kept from here as a child, and I just ended up here earlier. I fought and killed...or rather I delayed a Goddess for slandering your name...decapitated her as a matter of fact and ended up at the castle for what she said of you...you know what happened after that. As far as being alright...Even though my eyes are seeping blood I'm fine. And well apparently I'm the prince of these lands...or was rather..." Looking to the side he spoke this last bit as though he was somewhere inside...deep inside he was ashamed.

"...now that my Father is dead by my hands I am the king, but I can't stay here and lead them. My place is to help you first. If in result they are helped so be it...." feeling as though he went on about himself for too long he ended his little rant with. "...and you? You went through a bit of a change back there after I upset you...are you alright?"

Diago Tasume the Ranger

Diago is waiting by the door watching them. This was too emotional a trip for him. He was stuck following along with these people just to get close to this crystal that a few different sides are after apparently. He was tired of waiting around in this broken down kingdom. "The sooner we leave the sooner we get there.. And if your worried about this kingdom, stay... The moment we leave the demons will sense we are gone and will sack the rest of the kingdom. If you dont understand, they will all be as dead as dear ol' dad." He leans against a wall and crosses his arms over his chest. He wondered why his agressivness had increased after being in this kingdom, but he didn't like it.

No, there must be more, and i shall find it.

Smiling slightly when the princess spoke to her, Alex made her way over to the door by Diago. She eyed him a bit distrustfully - he hadn't been the same since he had initially come back and tried to kill both Cere and the King, and his attitude was even more callous than before.

Idly adjusting the straps on her new gauntlets, she spoke in a low voice to Diago:
"If before you were unhappy that people thought you were a demon by your appearance, it might help if you stopped waving your swords at anything coming your way," she commented. "It certainly doesn't contribute to the picture of just and honorable Ranger, if that's what you're going for."

She finished adjusting the straps and cracked her knuckles, waiting for Cere and Adeodatus to hurry up.
"Dusk is going to leave us behind," she called.

Diago smirks and leans over towards Alex. "Who ever said anything about me being just an honorable? My job is to keep people safe by killing people who would do them harm, and at this point, i guess i should be trying to kill Adeo and myself huh?" He lets out a chuckle and turns. "Come on, they will catch up, i doubt Adeo will let us get too far ahead of him." He looks back at Adeo and Cere and yells, "The bath house is that way guys." He points to where Cere, Alex, and himself came out of after he blew the wall down. "We dont mind if your gone a few hours.... Well.... Actually i do, i dont know the way..." He laughs a bit and walks through the door looking around and continues on his way, some of the demons were making their way into the city... they were the stupid ones....

No, there must be more, and i shall find it.
