[The Crimson Redemption]

Hearing a voice in the distance that didn't sound like one of those just lost in his head Adeodatus's eyes cracked open. With their discolored figments taking in the gravel below him and the feeling of it all around his skin made him rather upset, or perhaps he was just grumpy. That didn't really matter right now, but those long pointed ears wiggled at the sound of the voice again this time telling him to wake up. For a moment he thought he may have been dead as anyone in his situation probably would have.

Tilting his head up to see the girl in the cell he lifted a brow and lowered his head again. "What?" He asked softly having nothing really to talk about he was in shackles and that is where he was going to stay until he rested, being that he was still drained from the fight before the guards and now drained from fighting with the guards. Today was simply not his day and he knew it. This was all turning bad, and worse, but at least the voices were no longer screaming in his head.

Before he was an outcast in the city he grew up all but one man, and now he was a prisoner in the castle that governed said city. In a way he found it ironic, but in most ways he just found this to be tedious and ridiculously stupid. Now that was in no way to say he thought he was better than anyone else in here, Adeodatus simply did not care.

Tsukasa slowly made his way to the steps of the castle but stopped when he spotted guards. He quickly hid and began thinking. "Great, they didn't tell me there would be guards at entrance. Now what am i supposed to do?" He thought to him self.

Ko slowly walk into town hiding his book in his robes not wanting to want people to ask him any questions or favors. He came this way for he heard that they were beings that had powers from birth and wish to study them and hopefully figure out what he was. As he walk in town he saw that most had long ears which was a tip off that he was roughly in the place of which he was looking for. He walk to up to a man and ask him coldly where he could find a inn then walk towards where the man pointed only to hear him run inside and slam the door quickly after he left.

"Where can I find them?" a voice echoed down the end of the dungeon.

"Just down here."

"Thank you."

Footsteps echoed against the stone as a woman in armor made her way to the indicated two cells at the end of a row. She glanced between the fiery-haired woman in one cell to the limp, injured man in the other.

"A black magic practitioner and a man who randomly decided to pick a fight with my guards," Alex sighed, eying the both of them. "We probably don't want to keep you two together for too long. Anyway, I have some questions for you - if you cooperate, I may see about reducing your respective sentences. What do you say, hmm?"

Melody was working a part time job at the inn Ko was at. She noticed him walking in and greeted him kindly, her eyes bright as the sun and full of joy and curiosity. She was running table and couldn't talk until Ko sat down. She quickly went to the desk "may I help you, sir?" she said looking up at him. She had a snow white smile and the softest rose hint in her cheeks as she smiled at Ko.

Sometimes, you can't hold it in. And the anger claws at your insides.

Cori went to speak to the male. She wanted to ask why he'd been brutally attacked. But, a woman's voice made her priorities change. Especially after she'd known what she did. She glared at the woman, biting the inside of her cheek as she held back her fowl tongue. She listened to what the woman offered to say. "Yeah, Sure." She says grumpily. She didn't want to be in here. Her apples were discarded and she'd need to get back home to make that pie. Or her herb field would get attacked by crow's again. "What do you plan on inquiring from us?" She asks as she rested both wrists on the horizontal iron bars of the cell.

That's when it hits you, in your weak spot. Breaking free as a hellish inferno.

She took slow steps, as she walked down the hallway.. Cere never cared for these dresses.. or these tiny shoes, that made the ball of her foot ache for hours on end... But it wasn't to much further.. just.. a little more... Then, she could get out of those awful clothes!!

Smiling at a guard, posted outside of her room, she slowly opened the door, stumbling in. Quickly, she threw her back to the door, and locked it, stripping from her clothing just after. Kicking off the shoes, she ran to her dressing wall, to retrieve her regular clothing. "Ahh! So much better! I don't know how the other girls can stand those dresses...", she said softly, slipping her skirt and socks on. She pulled thin, silver cloth up to her upper body, and wrapped the cloth around her chest. Pulling hot pink strings from the dressing wall, she slowly laced the scrap of material. It had to be some kind of magic, for when she laced up the scraps, it became a silver armor corset. After all of that, she slipped on a small ribbon like material around her neck, made of the same material. She tied the back of it with the same kind of pink string. When she was finished, like the corset, it became silver armor.

Turning to her closet, she kneeled down, and pulled out a pair of black knee high boots, with a low heal. Before slipping them on, she reached inside of them, and retrieved two silver gautlets, which she also decorated her body with. After doing so, she slipped her shoes on, and took a deep breath of relief..

Laying back on her floor, she sighed. "Well.. I can't go out the way I usually do... Well, not all the way.. I might have to go down.. to the cells? Are they even being used?", she asked herself.

Tsukasa gasped at what he saw. He had been looking trough a window and saw the princess herself. He couldn't help but not watch, he wanted to looked away. On accident he got to close and his face hit the window

Adeo of course heard this woman speak up about asking them questions, and in truth he found her to be a very smug individual. So his attention did not stay on her all that long. Moreover she got her response from him with laughter nothing more than laughter. After she asked the question he started to laugh softly and looked up at her still laughing from under his long green bangs. For as many people that he has protected against his will, for someone to come to him in this manner was humorous.

"Mmm...I'd say I'm tired." Yawning rather wide and baring his fangs in the process the young Dark Hylian closed his eyes and actually attempted to go to sleep despite the woman's presence. He did not think of himself as such an awesome person, or big and bad. However Adeodatus stuck to his guns on anything that he believe and since he believed this was ridiculous he would treat it as such.

The woman before him who wished to ask questions could ask all she wanted, but more than likely wouldn't get an answer or at least she wouldn't get an answer that she liked.

Ko look up at her pulling out his coin bag. "I would like a room and any information you might have on this region or a Library." He said coldly but he couldn't help but blush. He was glad he was wore a mask to hide such things as that. She must know something if not she knows where I can for she works at an inn where most people come and talk. He thought as he look around the inn seeing others that look like a man from before.

Melody gota sighly hurt look on her face, she nodded and smiled uncomfortable. "well, there is a library two blocks from here to the north" Melody stated handing him a room key "4 good coins please" she said with her angelic smile and her golden eyes shining.

"I have two questions, for starters," Alex replied, raising a brow at the Dark Hylian's laughter. "The first is that around the time you two were captured, another male was seen quarreling with my guards. If you could give me a proper description of the stranger as well as why the quarrel began, I would be most grateful."

Then she turned to fully face the Dark Hylian, looking him up and down. Her eyes narrowed slightly in anger.
"As for you..."
She lifted a foot and kicked the bars, the ringing echoing throughout the dungeon.
"I'd like to know why I lost one of my men today."

"There's a small door hidden within your closet. You can crawl through it, and make your way to an emergency escape path... Heed my directions and I can direct you through the cells and to the underground entrance..", a loud voice among the others said.

Cere slowly sat up, staring into her closet. It wasn't often that the voices, or rather, the deities she heard encouraged her to leave the safety of the castle.. In anycase, Cere wouldn't argue with them. Nodding, she crawled into her closet, pressing her hand against the wall as she moved along, pressing against the solid matter until the door pressed in, and opened.

Smiling triumphantly, she crawled through, and continued to do so.. that is until, it suddenly dropped, twisting and turning like a slide. It was a narrow passage, and as Cere screamed her way down, her voice would echo.. It was a wonder the guards didn't hear her.

When the road came to end, she fell hard, landing painfully on her tailbone. "Ooooof!", Cere squeaked. "I wish they would have told me!", she exclaimed, whimpering, the pain still vibrating through her bones. "Ahh..."

Slowly, her eyes peeled open, it was... quite dark, and unattended to..

"Uhm.. where... now..?", she nervously asked aloud.

"Look around, there's lights to your left.. That's the dungeon cells.. Go through there, and find the exit leading outside. But be careful!", the voice told her once more.

Cere nodded, and stood up, proceeding in the direction she was told to go. Soon enough, she came to a torch lit maze.. She could hear voices, so many voices of prisoners, and guards.. "Uhm..", she whimpered, slowly walking in, wandering about...

Cori didn't get the greatest look of the male. She sighed as she tried to remember back. "He, had whitish hair.." She paused thinking of something else that might help. "He also fights with a staff." She glared at the woman hoping to be released. She didn't need any of this crap personally. She cleared her throat as she spat to the side of her. The flem smouldering as it made contact with the cement.

That's when it hits you, in your weak spot. Breaking free as a hellish inferno.

Ko took the key and placed it in his robe then took out seven gold coins and place them on the table. He stood back up thanking Melody for the information then made his way to the library pulling off the hood of the robe reveling his green hair before leaving the inn. That was to close for comfort and that hurt look on her face was hard to swallow fear i can handle but hurt that is hard. He thought as he walk into the street.
