The Story
It's January 1, 2016 and three figures are running through a graveyard in almost total darkness. One is a balding man in a lab coat with a peppered mustache and a crazed look in his eyes and the other two are armed men with black buisness suits. The suits are chasing him for what he stole, a single vail with a yellow glowing liquid inside. The men fire and clip the scientist in the leg, but it doesn't stop him. Zig zagging through the graves, the scientist looks at each grave, quickly reading each as he passed, before stopping at one large grave with a large cross on it. Kneeling at it, he fumbled out the vial and a metal rod with a small green button. Clicking it, a thin drill came out and he jabbed it into the ground, waiting as it burrowed into the grave. Quickly it penatrated the coffing and hit the body and the scientist poped the end off of the drill and poured the glowing yellow liquid from the vial into it. Standing up, he winced and gave a muffled wimper before falling back down. The clip on his leg was hurting now that some of his adreanalin was fading. The drill retracted then fell to the side and noises could be heard from below as the coffin broke and the corpse crawled up and out of the ground. An elderly woman pulled though the earth and gave a dead stare at the scientist, sniffing him and looking at him with pale white eyes. "My dear, oh how I have missed you!" The man said as he crawled over to her laughing histaricaly. A growl came from the dead woman and the last thing the man saw was her teeth.


The year is now 2018 and most of the world is infected, minus Austrailia and some other islands. Survivours not in the safty of Aussy and the isles hide in the saftey of stong fortifications and the shadows. In 2017, all boats and all other devicese to get there were destroyed to make sure no infected got to the safe areas, leaving the survivours stranded. But, there is rumors going through the survivours that there are still some boats still intact, but they are hidden up in the northern area of all countries. Everyone hopes it's true, but no one would dare going to check it out because of the distance. What will you do? Travel north in hopes of being saved or stay in hiding and survive as long as you can before becoming an undead fellows lunch?

The Setting
A dead city in the lower part of the U.S. Some of its buildings have been burned to the ground and there isn't an unsmashed window at street level in sight. The infected wander aimlessly, waiting for the next survivour to pass through. There are some shacks that have been turned into safe havens for the survivours around the place and some shops still have stuff inside of them to use.

The Infected

Regular Infected
The regular infected are slow and stupid, but are stong like hell when they catch you. They are the only carriers of the virus. They are also easy to kill with head shots.

Monkey Infected
They are fast and can climb buildings with ease. They also have a 3 foot bladed tail they can use to attack and hang from things. They are easy to kill with fire and bullets.

Shriecker Infected
They are mainly women and shriek loudly when they spot survivours to disorient them and call for the infected. They are weak against everything.

Charger Infected
They are large infected that have grown horns and charge at survivours to impale them. They shout loudly before charging. They are weak against explosives and armour piercing bullets.

Comander Infected
They can issue commands to regular infected with mixed results, many of the commands are very simple though extremely rarely there are cases where a Commander can instruct infected in very complex tactics. They have the same weaknesses as the regular infected.

Howler Infected
They are dogs that have mutated from their original form into snarling undead beasts. In their case, their breath is much worse than their bite as their breath is toxic and can kill you quickly in enclosed areas. Their weakness is that they are blind and rely on hearing and smell. Also weak against everything like shiekers.

The Rules

1. Follow gaia's ToS (I haven't read 'em, but I guess I'm doin alright ;D)
2. No cybering, though romance is allowed, just take it to the pm's or the almighty time skip.
3. I am the master of this thread, you must listen when I ask you to make a couple changes with your profile or posts.
4. Send me your profile titled "Zombie Rp" and put scream so I know you read the rules.
5. No killing each other without the others consent.
6. No body is a zombie, everyone is a human. You may use them when you are fighting them though.
7. That said, two other people other than me can spawn and control the infected(Like the AI director in L4D). I will choose them. If you want to be one, ask below the profile.
8. I don't care how literate you are, just post like at least twice a week.
9. You can die, just its hard. When you get bit by common infected, your done. Make another profile if you want to continue Rp'ing.
10. You are allowed to make and control 2 profiles at a time. If you have two and decide to kill one off, you can make one more profile if you wish.

Bio: Kenny was an average kid in college when the virus started to spread. When one of his fellow students had caught it it he sliced its head of with an axe used when there is a fire. He's kept this with him ever since. He missed one of the boats heading out and had to survive by himself afterwards.
Weapon(s) of choice: An axe, aswell as anything he can get his hands on from raiding stores/buildings.
Personality: Kenny was a rather arrogant kid, although he is now more serious, caring about his own well-being more than others. He will team up with anyone who he meets though. He also tends to raid any building he goes past, searching it for anything useful.

Bio: Isabella lost her whole family to the zombies, and is now left alone with people she barely knows. She is a bit scared, but doesn't let that stop her from doing anything. She was trained to use a sword, and how to fight. So she can take care of her self, and isn't just dead weight. She is very smart, but can be a bit of a dummy some times. She can also be a bit of a klutz as well.
Weapon(s) of choice: Duel Kantas, and daggers.
Personality: She is a hard head, that doesn't know the meaning of when to give up, or die. She will fight to stay alive, and doesn't let any one walk all over her. She tells people what she thinks, and if they don't like it they can just talk to her Kanta. She doesn't like to show people her soft side, because she is afraid to let her emotions get in the way of anything.

Bio: John K. Havard is a corporal of a dispatched rescue team called EDGE. This rescue team was to save civilians before they became infected, but they came in too late. Chaos ensued, and the rescue team quickly was eradicated, except for a couple members.
Corporal John K. Havard wonders the town, searching for something he can help, wether its a surviving EDGE member or just another civilian.

Age: 19
Bio: Jazzedori's step mother was infected shortly after the outbreak. Luckily Jazz was shut in her bedroom upstairs. She was able to climb out her window and jump down to the ground, many years of practice from sneaking out. Jazz had never gotten along with her stepmom, and although she was semi sort-of sad when it happened, she wasn't.. Well lets just say she got over it quickly.
She had loved her dad very much, and he had taught her how to use a gun and a blade. She was good at both, but much better with a knife, or any sharp object for that matter. Her father died of cancer a year before the outbreak.
Jazzedori was scared, but she did, and she does, what she can to survive. She's been alone since this crisis started because apparently none of her friends were smart enough to live through it.
Weapon(s) of choice: Any sharp objects she can find nearby, a set of silver twin daggers she refuses to leave behind, and a black pistol she stole from a store after the outbreak.
Personality: Jazz is quite the smartass. She can sometimes be a pain, especially if she doesn't like you. She doesn't easily trust anybody. Once a friend though, she's a damn good one, and will do anything and everything to keep them safe.

Bio: Caroline was traveling around the world when the infected started sprouting. Being trained in the military, she wasn't going to just travel somewhere to be safe for who knows how long. Instead, Caroline stayed behind in the US and is going to try to take down the infected.
Weapon(s) of choice: A double edge katana, Wakizashi, anything else she can get her hands on, really.
Personality: Feisty, arrogant, hard-headed, independent, but calm, and level-headed in serious situations. She isn't very social, so if anywhere near other people she stays to herself. Stends to get violent when angered, so you might want to avoid her when she is.

When they met they made a deal and split the load, but when they got to the car meet to escape the town. Zombies had killed everyone, Shady as alone...Now him and Zuleydis are figureing out a way to reach the northern part of North America, they heard they had a way to survive and retreat.

Josk walked accross an empty street quickly, looking around himself for something he couldn't see. A figure stumbled out from a nearby allyway and sniffed the air, turning its head from side to side before resting its gaze on Josk. It shouted and started to move towards him. Other figures came out of the alleyway and the smell of dead flesh overpowered Josk slightly, causing him to fall back and catch himself. Shaking his head, he pulled out his pistol and aimed at the closest infected then thought about the noise it would make. Sighing, he decided to run and put the gun away. Turning, he went into a jog and went opposite of the group of infected.

Kenny was currently inside an abondoned antique shop, the window smashed through by looters who had got there before him and the door taken to use as firewood probably. Kenny was currently in the back of the shop, looking through the remains of the stock that hadn't been stolen. Finding nothing of interest he sat down on the floor, his dog laying next to him. He had never actually named the dog, just incase the worst case scenario did happen. Don't wanna be emotionally attached now do ya.

Josk heard a smashing noise and looked up at a large building beside him, seeing a monkey crawl out and hang on the sill with its tail. His eyes went wide and he ran, hoping it hadn't seen him. Looking again, he saw that it was gone and cursed. Taking out his pistol, he looked up at the buildings and searched for the infected. Stopping beside a moving van and leaning against it, he caught his breath and checked his pistol. He heard a moving noise from atop the van and looked up just in time to see the infected. "Crap..." Josk started to run and ducked into an antique building, jumping over the counter and hiding. Listening, he heard it run, slow down infront of the shop then leave again. Sighing, he relaxed and panted slightly before taking out a bottle of water out of a small pack he had at his side and drinking. He hadn't noticed the other person in the shop with him yet.

Kenny was just about to leave the antique shop when he saw someone fly through the window. He quickly grabbed the nearest thing to him, which in this case was a stand for something that had already been stolen by someone. Kenny lowered the stand after he noticed that the person wasn't infected. "You are?"

Josk looked over to the other survivour and looked him up and down then stood with a sigh. "Josk Valla." He capped the water and put it away, "You?" He looked at the stand in his handand his hand next to his gun holster twitched. For a second he wondered if he should give him something, but he then thought he could be dead next week so why bother and shrugged off the thought.
