Elle looked over to GraveRobber when she heard a voice. "Eh, adaptation is one of my strong suits, I guess," she replied with a shrug. "But no, as interesting as this place is, I would like to continue looking for Lucien as soon as possible. Would prefer to make sure he's not...well...dead or anything," she said, looking down at the ground as the thought of coming across the Jedi's corpse flickered through her mind. After a few moments, though, she shook her head to clear her mind. "...Maybe sometime afterwards I might come back to visit for a while, though," she added after some thought.
"I'm sure Seph would be happy to see you, as would I and your...friends. As for your friend, I've done some research. On the bright side, a Jedi doesn't simply 'die'. That energy they possess through mutation of midoclorians, which is damn fascinating I might add, The Force? Upon ample destruction of the body, that massive energy is released and returned to whatever the spiritual source is and the 'soul' if you will becomes a part of it. So, from what I gather, if he were dead you would have felt the boom and then he'd appear as a ghost or...something. I'm not exactly the science-y one." GR explained, flipping through a book he held before tossing it off into the alley behind him as he finished.
Elle...just sort of stared blankly at him for a few seconds as her brain tried to process what exactly GraveRobber had said. "So...long story short, he ain't dead," she sort of guessed, sort of assumed. "Well, that's a relief. Now I just have to worry about whether he's been maimed or tortured or some s**t like that," she said, obviously not too relieved at those thoughts. "You got any ideas where he is, or at least what direction I start looking in?" she asked.
(( @Solar: sounds fun... i'm a full-time student, have four classes each semester...took two finals today, and will have two back-to-back tomorrow. and then no school 'til the second week of January, i think. ))
GraveRobber shrugged. "He's an alien technically, right? Well, have you tried looking for any oddly placed spaceships in your sky? Last I checked, skycraft that doesn't have blades is strange for your type. I'll look into what likes to eat or catch these 'Jedi' for any leads I guess. Not much for you to do down here, sadly, unless you're looking to get fixed up. Any questions or ideas for entertainment? I've got some time to kill." he offered, implying he knew the area well enough to be a guide of sorts.
Elle rolled her eyes at GraveRobber. "Yeah, uh-huh, 'cause if he got kidnapped the kidnapper is totally going to leave their flying saucer just parked over Main Street. Totally," she said sarcastically. She sighed. "Suppose I should go back to the inn room and gather up my stuff, and then head out to search and hope for the best. Maybe I could try some of the meditation he taught me and see if I can sense him that way..." she mused aloud.
He shrugged again. "See? Spitballing. I give an idea, you get an idea. Works every time. I'll let them know you'll be heading up soon, and I'm sure Seph will want to see you off at least. Catch you then, kid." he said with a wave as he vanished off back into the shadows.
Elle waved farewell to GR before heading back to the inn. She would do her best to slip in quietly, going to her room without being noticed any more than necessary. She wouldn't leave without seeing Seph again, but she wanted to try to figure out where to go next before that. So she sat on the bed, closed her eyes, relaxed, and tried to tap into what little of the Force she knew how to use. She focused on thoughts of Lucien and his general 'feel', hoping to get some sort of contact even if it was just a vague feeling to head in a specific direction.
