Lyra heard the others, she heard their voices. She wanted to call out to tell that she was here, but her lips refused to move. She waited, she knew that she would sink into the dark hot water. But it never came. No she was greeted by the sensation of falling, falling through a tunnel, in winter.
Something was wrong, something inside her was very, very wrong. it wasn't like any thing that had ever happened to her before, no it was a million times worse!

Jahk looked at the herbs and nodded, then transforming himself into a bat quickly, swooped into the air. He hoped desperatley that these were plants indigenous to the area, though he assumed Sage was more familliar with the area and trusted him. Luckily, it didnt take long to find what he was looking for. "Sage," he said upon his return, waddling on his furry bat feet over to teh man. "Found it...hurry"

Sage took the herbs from Jahk and crushed them into a bowl and added hot water to the mix. Sage opened Lyars mouth and poured some into her mouth hoping this would help her all he could do now is wait. "Thank you Jahk but now all we can do is wait for the herbs to take effect, and you never know every person is different." He said then keeping the fire going hot.

Lyra felt something hot slide down her throat. That was odd in and of its self, she could still feel. Then she realized that she could feel her hands. Again this was odd, she twitched them and felt them actually move.
A while later she found that she could feel her face, hands, and feet, nothing else. She opened her eyes and gasped in the fresh air. She reached out toward the fire, fire was her, she was fire, it had always helped. When she touched it, it didn't help, no it hurt, she jumped back into Jahk with a cry of pain. "What's happening to me!"

Jahk quickly transformed back into a human to break Lyra's fall as she stumbled back into him. "Lyra, Lyra calm down....Are you okay? Is it yur powers??? Are you in pain?" he asked, trying to figure out if he could help.

Lyra looked up at Jahk, "My hand! The fire, it burned me! But, but.... but... it can't. It never has before." she looked slightly appalled. She looked back down at her hand, it hurt terribly. She snapped her index and middle fingers on the other hand. Nothing. Again she snapped them and again, nothing. Over and over she snapped them and over and over she got nothing. This scared her, tears slid down her cheek. She wondered what could be happening, but before she could ask the feeling of being stabbed in the stomach hit her again. She doubled over in pain, and cried out.

Sage took her hand in his, "No not really those Herbs you got me got rid of her powers for the night." He said then pulling water out from the ground and cleaned it out and placed it on her burned hand. "Your hand should be feeling better soon, as long as your powers are under control you will be fine. Fire is a hard power to control it has a life of it's own, unlike water which does as it is told." He said then wraping her burned in in a bandage he had in his bag.

Lyra looked at him, "Ok, thank you. So any ideas what happened to me?" this was the part that worried her. She hadn't been in contact with any one expect.... expect these guys and Belial. She looked around but Belial had vanished.

Sage looks at her, "Well fire as a power is hard to control even the smallest emotion could set it blazing and things like what just happened could happen again." He said then thinking, "Hey what ever happened to the girl that we all know her as Hitomi where did she run off to?" He asked then feeling his heart sink and he felt a tear run down his cheek.

Lyra looked into Sage's eyes and saw just how sad he was. "It's ok, we'll find her, I promise," She reached out and wiped the the tear from his face with her hand. She smiled kindly at him and repeated, "I promise,"

Sage sniffed the air and smelt Hitomi near by, "I have her scent she is near by here. I'm going to find her." He said then turning into a wolf and going out to look for her.

Story looked over, seeing that some sort of commotion was going on with her friends. Apparently Lyra had lost her powers...on any other occasion, she would go to her. NOw however, she was keeping a protective ey over Hitomi...or Akira, who was asleep, having lost her memory. She told her to rest, and remained silently next to the sleeping girl.

Jahk looked from Sage to Lyra as they were working on a diagnosis. "Sage has a point...air is also difficult to control...So i think he's on the right track...perhaps it was that memory restoration that caused you a little too much stress..." Jahk fiddled with the seam of his glove and thought for a moment. "If you'd like, I can make sure your powers arent truly gone...hate to have you worry, especially if stress is the problem..." he offered.

Lyra looked at Jahk, "You can? That would be amazing. Thank you," her gaze softened, and she gave a small half smile.

Jack, with a careful smiled, nodded and slipped off his glove and set it next to him. "This will feel very strange, but I'm only checking if you still have any power left in you....i promise," and at that, he touched his forefinger gently to the palm of her hand.

Lyra shivered when his skin touched her's, but she didn't mind it. It was warm, something that she was currently lacking.
(yeah that's fine, i didn't really know what was going to happen next, to tell u the truth! so thats fine via me!)
