Hitomi looked at Jahk as he left to go look for Story and she sighed lightly she was a little sad thinking that she may have upset on of the only friends she had and she looked around the area and then notice what was going on and she walked to the center of the area where a small stage was and she smiled to every one that was there. "every one..it is now time to make your wish to the moon and then we will start the next event after now are you all ready.." she asked every one lightly as she looked finding Story and then saw Jahk and she closed her eyes and then put her hands to her mouth as her fingers covered her hands and she made her wish and then waited for the light of the Moon and the Star to be the brightest.

Story

Story turned away from her dance partner to find Jahk standing behind her. "Oh! Hey you," she said making a gesture like poking him on the nose, but not actually touching it. "Having fun brother?" she asked. Story's attention shifted just then two Hitomi who was announcing that they get to make a wish. Not really caring if he protested, Story threw her arms around her much taller brother and looked to the sky. "Make a wish!" she said happily.

Hitomi looked up lightly when she herd Story and she smiled lightly and she finished making her wish. "alright have you all finished with your wishes..if so guys please go to the Left wall and girl please go to the Right every one else you know what to do" she said as she walked to the right side and then looked over to Story and Jahk with a smile.

Jahk smiled, feeling that he had made a very good wish, then patted his sister on the head. She separated from him and skipped over to the opposite wall. Uhoh. Jahk had a feeling something...dancey... was about to occur. He looked up to Hitomi with a 'dear gawd what are you planning girl' kind of smile.

"we have to get your brother dancing no matter what or it will look very bad..and you should find a cute boy to dance with this is where you will find your true love..well maybe only if your lucky.." she whispered lightly with a smile and then she backed away and nodded at the people closest to the lake as the moon shined bright on it and then the music started playing and people started to dance and join in the middle.

[align=center]Jahk began to feel very claustrophobic as the people began to shuffle forward around him. Oh no...Hitomi... he thought nervously. Several people brushed past him, making him flinch back as he tried to find a safe haven out of the sea of people. Whirling around and finding no easy way out, Jahk changed into his Demon form, and with a large gust of wind, jolted into the air, happy to be safe. "That was close...wait...wha---WHat is that?" Jahk looked up into the night sky with concern. A bright, vicious ball of fire flew in his general direction, getting closer and closer. It was already too close by the time Jahk realized what was going on. The fiery heap landed in the square of the city, toppling over several of the citizens of Kagani. "STORY!" he screamed, dive-bombing back down into the city. They were under attack.

Hitomi looked as she herd screaming people and then watched as the fire ball hit the people and then seeing another she jumped and pushed every one out of the way and rolled out from under it by just a few seconds and she gasped looking around then she threw off her Kimono to show her normal closes and she then looked at the panicing people"EVERY ONE...please hurry and leave the city go to a exit and make sure all new people women and childern are all out of the city please hurry" she exclaimed over the people and she looked over to find Story while tring to protect every one but was thrown into a wall from a fire ball that almost landed on top of her and she tired to get up as she herd the peoples screams.

Story

Story's eyes were wide with awe and terror as she saw the great ball of flames fall from the sky and land in the middle of the town square. She looked up past the throng of screaming citizens. The sky was ablaze with bombs of similar kind. She screamed, and changed into a cat, knowing she could runn faster this way. She darted through the stammering feet of the fleeing peopl. Where was Hitomi? Where was Jahk? She spotted her brother speeding for the city in a 180 dive and darted for him. Just as he passed above, Story sprung off her furry back legs and changed into her mixed form midair, her hands locking with the firm gloves of her brother as he whirled her through the air. "Where is Hitomi?!" she yelled to him above the screaming.

Hitomi got up to her feet lightly almost falling over as person after person kept pushing her and then she went to a wall and then climbed up it and stoped as she looked around and froze a few fire balls and threw ice shards at them making them brake into tiny peices of ice and then she looked seeing what was going on and then she tired to go so she could stop it but saw that the enemy had closed off a exit that was close by and she bit her lip and then jumped down and almost broke her already hurt leg and she stumbled over to the way and tried to knock out all the soldiers but felt something hit her at the back of her neck and she fell over on to the ground heiring more screams and yells of pain and fear. "n-no....i-i p-promised that..i w-would protect this c-city...w-why now...." she said lightly before she passed out and changed into her Fox form and a few thoughts echoed in her head. 'please...let my wish for thoughs two come true...let Story and Jahk live a happy life some where...where no harm will come to them...i..i wish i could have helped them...i-im sorry..every one...'

Jahk in the corner of the water-logged apartment, looking forlornly at the large water mark in the middle of the carpet. Story was curled into a tiny ball, sleeping away the troubles next to him. It had been three days since the attack on Kagani. Once again, they had managed to flee the danger of warfare, and they were together. That was what was important. Jahk looked over in the opposite corner of the room, where Hitomi stilled laid sleeping. She had not woken up since the mad evacuation, and she had had to be carried all the way here. Story and him had been waiting diligently for her to stir; They knew she wasn't dead..but she hadn't moved. Story had shot all the luck she could toward the fate of thier friend, but as she explained, she could only control luck so much. She had had a feeling that everything would be okay, and Jahk guessed this was a bit of her precognition...he only hoped she predicted right.

Hitomis body had slowly been trying to heal its self but was not really working and she kept having nightmares of when she was in the lab to that night and she woke up and she jumped up and she was gasping for breath and looked around where she was in her human form and saw Jahk and Story and was happy to see them. "J-jahk..Story...w-what happened..where are we...and what happened to every one else" she asked them almost sounding like she was pleading to them and then she held her head as she remembered her nightmares she had been having while she was asleep.

Jahk started suddenly when Hitomi spoke, causing Story to roll off of his lap and mew in disagreement. Her ears perked up happily when she noticed Hitomi and she rushed over, mewing frantically and rubbing up against the girl back and forth, pausing only to mew some more. Jahk remained more calm after that. He scooted over closer to where Hitomi was laying. "Everyone who wasn't killed by the fire is safe Hitomi. There are alot of survivors...we are in Rokani..." Jahk explained, feeding information to her little by little as Story bombarded the girl with fuzzy love.

Hitomi watched as a fuzzy little kitten came over to her and started purring and she knew it was Story and she smiled lightly and then petted her with a light smile and looked at Jahk as he listened to the story and she felt even worse now because she knew she had failed her people. "im so glad to see you two are alright...but i failed them....i hope they will be alright...Rokani..where is that Jahk.." she asked lightly not knowing where it was while she watched Story and she smiled.

Story

Story changed into a human and embraced Hitomi tightly and a death-lock hug. "You did not fail anyone Hitomi! You got hit by a ball of fire! Fire..heeellloooo, flamy death! There was nothing you could do. If anything, it should be my fault because I have the powers to have seen it coming, but i didnt!" Story said sqeezing Hitomi more tightly. "Oh and We are in Rokani...the forgotten city. One of the town's folks had discovered it and we all walked three days to get here. You were unconsious the whole time so Jahk and I took turns carrying you..boy were we worried...please dont blame yourself Hitomi..." Story asked still clinging to Hitomi as if he were going to float away.
