Welcome to Gaia! ::

Elyone widened her eyes at Maleh. She was surprised that he actually knew, that she likes fencing. She smiled at him "Romours spread really quickly. I like fencing and I will be honored to try my skills on you, Mr. Maleh."
Then she beamed at Victoria "That would be really nice. Btw. I'm Elyone d'Este."

Fowl beamed at the tree young ladies, and put his hand on Maleh's shoulders, saying to the ladies "Don't you rather want to have now an cup of tea with us? I saw an nice pavillion in the garden, it would be really nice to drink there a tea and chat a little.", he looked asking at them and at Esther's aunt.
Esther's aunt practically fell over with excitement, "Of course! We would be absolutely delighted!"

Esther only curtsied in response. Maleh offered his arm to Esther's aunt, "Shall we then? It would be a shame for all of you to be burned by the sun. Besides, this will be a delightful opportunity for us all to be better aquainted."

Despite his cool exterior, Maleh felt annoyed with Fowl. It was one thing for Fowl to have his fun with the younger ladies, but to drag himself in as well. That was simply stupid. He had come for the purpose of obtaining souls, but Fowl appeared to truly want a bit of socializing done.
As Maleh and Fowl escorted the girls to tea, Victoria felt a sense of uneasiness. Something about these two gentlemen (although Maleh was VERY handsome) just did not seem right. Trying to hide her feelings, Victoria struck up a conversation with the girls.

"So Elyone... you fence???" she asked.

Victoria thought of anything to make herself feel less akward in this situation. She was walking with a very handsome man and two very pretty girls. How she knew she didn't fit in this world of pomp and lace!
Elyone smiled at Victoria and with an a bit excited voice said "Yeah, I love fencing, it is very good, and I'm lucky that my parents allow me to practice it.", she then looked at Esther and back at Victoria "And you two, what do you like to do? Esther what kind of books do you like to read?", she completely forgot about the adults, that were sitting with them.

Fowl just smirked at Maleh since he knew, that Maleh hate him for this now. But Fowl just sometimes, well quite often, loved to annoy Maleh. He just couldn't stand that nice-and-cool attitude of Maleh. Fowl fakely smiled at the maid that served them a tea, and sipped from his cup. He smiled at Esther's aunt and flattering said "Mrs Smith, you wear really nice dress today, it's the latest fashion, as I can tell. And the color goes well to your eyes.", Fowl was deciding if the next 'prey' could be this milady, and he quickly looked at Maleh.
Maleh ignored Fowl's look. Fowl would pay the price for his insolence later, and in a much more subtle manner. He stayed quiet with a light smile on his face, simply observing the others while sipping the Earl Grey tea.

Esther's aunt, however, wilted underneath the attention she was receiving from two of England's richest men, "Mr. Fowl, you certainly have a keen eye! I had this dress made only a few days. It is by the greatest luck that I decided to wear it to the most prominent tea party of the Season!"

Esther meanwhile, sipped her tea shyly, glancing occasionally at Maleh before blushing and staring hard at the table cloth. His face was quite soft, but not to the point of being feminine. Maleh looked almost like a sculpture of a Greek God of some far away time. His presence almost made her want to speak. Maleh looked over and let out a faint smile.

"Miss Smith, is everything alright? You have turned a most appealing rose pink."

Esther dropped her cup with a clatter, "No! No, I'm fine! Thank you for your concern!"
