Demian was thinking for a moment and then he said "Probably one small jewelery would be nice, since we can gain some souls from the party in revenge. What do you think, Maleh?"
Maleh got up and shrugged indifferently, "Whatever you want. I do not quite care either way. Be discreet though when you send my girls over. I do not want anyone to make any connections."
Demian smirked at Maleh "Don't worry, I can do this job safely like always.", he then stood up and said "Now I should be going to my house, so good night." He walked away and sat down in his luxurious carriage, and said the drayman to dride him into his house.
Maleh watched the carriage roll away from the front of his home and sat back down in his leather chair. The cat Fowl had been petting leapt onto Maleh's desk, purring loudly. Maleh stroked its fur and the cat closed his eyes in a thorougly relaxed manner.

"He used to be interesting," Maleh sighed, and drained his cup, setting it down with a clatter. "But now, he's just consumed with greed." The cat meowed, as if in agreement. "I liked it more when he questioned what I did...all he does now is get old and rich. I want someone stubborn. Someone who will get angry with me for what I do." His hand tightened around the cup again and he flung it against the fireplace. A beautiful shatter rung through the room. The cat straightened up, its yellow eyes alert, and it moved from the shattered glass to Maleh. Maleh, however, continued to stroke the cat before nudging him off the desk with his hand. "Well, off you go, Beelz. Do your job and make sure those nasty angels don't dirty my house."

The cat leapt off and squeezed through the crack between the doors. Maleh sighed and sat down, looking for all the world as if he had fallen asleep in his chair.
When Fowl arrived to his mansion, he took a deep breath and satisfily looked at his big house with big park. He loved money, and he wanted that other envy him, so he could spend money on really unneeded luxury things. He walked inside of his house, and the butler took his coat of. He walked inside his room, locked the door, and after assuring that nobody is spying, he walked to his library and pushed one book inside the bookshelf, and suddenly man could hear an quiet, unnatural screeching sound, as the wall with an big mirror on it, opened. He slightly smiled. He let build this secret room a long time ago, and then ged rid of the workers, so nobody know about it, just him.
He entered the room. It was full of money, gold, jewelery and other expensive things. But he didn't looked at any of them, just passed by it and then walked sloser to an big pretty painting, his autoportrait. He put it down, and opened the safe, who was behind it. He looked at the beautiful jewelery that was inside and took one nice small breastpin, with an small emerald in it. It looked really beautiful, but he just grinned at it. He knew that in this small thing, actually is an soul from one unknow girl. He just put it in nice small box and then closed the safe, and the secret room. He sat down in his soft chair and looked at the stone inside the gold locket. He could feel something from it, but he just laughed. He didn't cared about the girl, nor any of the humans whose soul's were taken. He knew that the same fate will happen to him, but he refused to give up. He was already planning an evil plan, how to get rid of Maleh and keep all of the wealth for himself. An evil grin appeared on his face as he was intriguing against Maleh. In fact he always just pretend to be fond of him, and he actually despised this handsome demon... After ahile he smiled quite happily, because he already knew, what to do... His plan was perfect...
As Victoria laid crying in her bed, she heard a soft knock at the door. "Go Away!!!!" she screamed.
"It's your father, Victoria, let me in please..."
She remained silent. Her father was the one person who she truely loved in the whole world, she could never shut him out. He entered the room and sat down next to her on the bed. "Listen to me Victoria," he began. "I know you and your mother don't get along, and I blame myself for that. I always allowed you your freedom, treating you more like a son than a daughter. If it weren't for me, you would not be the swordswoman that you are now. But your mother just wants a sophisticated daughter who can marry a well-off husband and not have to suffer. She sees you on a path of destruction..." He paused.
"But father!!! Fighting has always made me happy, I don't want to be constricted to living a dull life of frills and overindulgence... I want to travel and see the world, I want to experience life and be my own person... without people seeing me as a girl or a boy."
"That is why I am giving you this..." He pulled out of his pocket a beautiful necklace of gold with a large ruby pendant.
"What is this father???" she questioned, although excited to see something so beautiful... the sight of it almost made her cry.
"This is a family heirloom that has been passed on in my family for generations; I give it to you, to guide you and protect you. I know I cannot make you stay... some birds are too wild and too beautiful to ever keep caged for long, you need to spread your wings and fly away from here..."
"OH.... FATHER!" She hugged him tightly and cried.... she loved him even more for understanding her so well, when most people would have thought her crazy. "Thank you!!! Thank you oh so very much!!!"
"But under one condition, you have to attend the tea party tomorrow for Lady Marbury with me and your mother.... of course.... decked out in one of the frilly dresses in which you dispise..." he smiled gently. "After it is over, you are free to go where ever you deem fit... i'll handle your mother."
Her father kissed her forehead and bade her good night. After leaving the room, Victoria looked at the necklace her father just gave her and she felt warm all over. She was free...... starting tomorrow, her new life and a new adventure would begin.....
Elyone frowned whe she saw the dress, that her mother chose for her. Long dark-blue dress, with long transparent sleeves, and corset. The skirt was loosen a bit, and when she wore it, it reached almost till the ground. Elyone sighed and had to try hard, to stay calm, when her maid combed her hair and pinned a small rose in them. When Elyone was finnaly dressed up, she walked after her mother and said a little frustrated to her "Well, I'm ready, so let's go, so I will have it quickly behind me...",then she looked straight at her mother "And remember, you promised me, that you will fulfill my wish next time..."
Her mother noded, knowing that she will have to keep her promise no matter what it will be...
Then they sat to an carriage and came to the Tea party. There were already may rich people, so they, after a greeting with Lady Marbury, just mixed in the crowd.

Fowl woke up and let the butler to pick up an dress for him and wear it. He took the locket, which was inside the small pretty box, with him. And then he arrived to the party, where he should meet up with Maleh.
Maleh surveyed his extensive wardrobe and figured the one closest to him. Of course, they were all of excellent quality but he still considered it a tiresome task to pick one out. At last, he pulled out a black one that he normally wore for business and began to pull it on and buttoning. He ordered his butler to order a carriage just as Beelz the cat leapt onto a chair, purring loudly. Something that looked horribly like blood was caught in his fur. Maleh inspected it and rubbed it out of Beelz fur and onto his hand. His flesh began to sizzle and burn and Maleh dropped it immediately, grinding it beneath his feet. Maleh stroked Beelz, "Good job, gave that nasty angel a run for its money."

The carriage finally arrived and the ride to Lady Marbury's mansion was brief. He bowed to their hostess and exchanged pleasentries before moving in to find Fowl.

Esther could not believe some of the extravagance the younger ladies had with their ribbons and lace. Of course, she and her aunt had heard the rumors and her aunt had rushed to put her in one of the nicer dresses with a lace trim and forest green. The presence of the infamous Fowl and Maleh of the jewel company would have anyone green with envy. Simply being able to see them would have been quite enough. But still, she couldn't help but dread the party.
Fowl was chatting with ladies at the party when he caught a look of Maleh. He excused himself and walked to him "Are you enjoying the party?",he smirked at Maleh.

Elyone tried to keep an attentive expression on her face, but she was bored. Her mother was cought up in the conversation with old ladies, so Elyono used up the opportunity and dissappeared. She walked to the tables and took one cup with tea.
Maleh give Fowl a faint smile which looked more like a twisted grimace, "I like the tea just fine. So far, the lady of Worchester has assaulted me with her two daughters in tow as well as countless others that I will not bother naming the others. I suggest you send my dessert over soon, Fowl. If I am too impatient, I may leave." He looked over Fowl's shoulder, "I also suggest that you remain discreet. I will not be pleased to clean up after your little messes." Maleh gave Fowl a curt nod before turning to pick up his tea as another woman came up from behind Fowl.

"Ah, Misters Fowl and Maleh!" Esther's aunt simpered. "I daresay, we haven't had the pleasure of meeting before. I am Mrs. Smith and this is my niece, Esther. Esther, say hello."

"I am extremely pleased to meet you," Esther whispered, mortified. A pink blush spread over her face and she wished she could disappear.

"Delighted," Maleh said without turning around in a bored tone.
Fowl made an fake smile and said "It's a pleasure to meet such a wonderful ladies, like you two.", he bowed and kissed their hands, first the aunt, and then Esther. He looked deeply into Esther's eyes and whispered "I hope that you will enjoy this party, young lady."

Elyone was sipping from her tea, as she tried to avoid other people, and find something interesting on this boring party. Suddenly she bumped into someone, and split her tea onto his shirt. Saying "S-sorry,I didn't meant to...",she looked up at the man, and stopped as she realized that it's Maleh.
Esther was almost ecastic when a young lady spilled something all over Maleh. She pulled out her handkerchief and rushed over, side stepping Fowl quickly.

"Is everything alright?" Esther cried, stooping down and picking up the cup which, gratefully, had not broken. She helped the girl who had spilled the tea mop up her clothing as well as she could.

Maleh himself took a few steps back as some of the newcomers gasped. His suit appeared to be ruined for good. He waved away a servant who had appeared with a cloth to wipe it up, "No need, no need. Is the young miss alright? I hope she is not injured."
Elyone smiled thankfully at Esther "Thanks.", then she looked at Maleh and apologized "I'm sorry for your suit." and then said "I'm fine, just my dress is ruined, but it's not important, since I wont wear it anymore.",then she realized that she still didn't introduced herself, so she slightly bowed and said "I'm Elyone d'Este, nice to meet you."

Fowl was thinking something ,like: "This suit you well,Maleh...At least you don't look so perfect as always." but he warmly smiled and said "I'm always pleased to meet such a wonderful flower like you.",and slightly bowed.

Elyone just gave Fowl an cold look. She didn't care, when someone was flattering her.
Victoria and her parents pulled up to the party fashionably late at her mother's insistance. She felt very uncomfortable. Although her dress was brand new and a lovely shade of ivory lace with pink silk ribbon, it was incredibly tight, hot, itchy, and too long!!! Victoria could barely walk in such an outfit!

"Hello Lady Marbury," said Victoria's father. "It is such a delight to be in your company this fine afternoon. This is my wife, Elizabeth and our daughter, Victoria."

After all the formal introductions, Victoria sat down for some tea. This party is dull... she thought... all these phony people gathered in one place make me sick. While taking in her surroundings, a situation caught her eye. It looks like two girls, roughly her age were caught up in conversation with Maleh and Fowl! What on earth could have happened, she wondered... Victoria gathered herself up out of her chair and walked over to the two girls.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentle sirs," she said in her sweetest voice that her mother would be proud of, "what seems to be the matter here?"

"Another beautiful flower!" exclaimed Fowl, "please tell me your name."

"I am Victoria McDougal," she curtsied, "and you must be the famous Fowl and Maleh. I actually came over to talk to these gentle ladies in your company, I believe you to be around my age, and I was wondering if you'd like to share a spot of tea with me... we girls must stick together and all."
Maleh managed small, apparently warm, smile, "It really is no problem. My suit is quite replaceable. You, my dear Miss d'Este, are not. All that it matters is that no one is injured. But despite such an awkward first meeting, I am pleased to meet you, Miss d'Este, Miss Smith, and Miss McDougal. I am sure it would have been more pleasing to see you more naturally in your respective elements instead of," here Maleh lowered his voice glancing around quickly. "at such a awkward social gathering. Perhaps you all will give me the pleasure of calling upon you in the future? That is," Maleh straightened himself and looked at the positively fawning aunts and mothers and whatnot, "if your guardians agree."

"Of course!" Esther's aunt gushed. "Please feel free to come visit our Esther anytime. Our Esther loves books and reading, perhaps Mr. Maleh does also?''

Maleh let out a small boyish grin, looking directly at Esther, "My, how perfect. I myself have a large collection of books. When you have the opportunity, I implore you to come over. It is rare I may share or discuss my collection with anyone.

"And I understand the charming Miss d'Este enjoys more ah...physical arts? Perhaps if I may have the pleasure, I may have the honor of fencing off against you? And Miss McDougal, should you not wear a hat? That fair skin of yours may burn if you stay in the sunlight for too long."

Discreetly, Marek's hand went down to where the tea had stained his suit and put his hand over it. With a fluid downward motion, as if wiping the stain away, the stain disappeared without a trace.
