He bowed to her. "Sir Kalielm... Sounds nice... Anyway it's a pleasure to meet you..." He stood there waiting for her to respond but then randomly began to run around her childlisshly and happily, clapping his hands and skipping. He started to say quietly "Two little souls get lost in the woods. One might have died, whilst the other got pissed off! Hehehe!" He stop skiping and stood infront of her, all of a suden serious again, like what he just did never happened...

Aikan saw another person and ran right passed him. As soon as the creature was killed she stopped running. She looked back at the person who helped her. But she was threaten as soon as she thought of giving him thanks. Instead she took a rock and threw it at him. Not caring if it hit him or not, that was going to be her response. After throwing the object at him she started to wander off to find out more about the place where she was.

"The pleasure is all mine." She would say, about to bow to him before he started running around her. She would just... shake her head, what was up with this guy... so strange. "Quite done...?" She would ask in a flat tone, the exspression on his face... it just made her shake her head once more, she would never understand this man.

Anastair walked through the beautiful chaos, her skeletal hands flexing as she walked along. She heard the taunting voice of the gatekeeper and announcer, Kaliem as he welcomed the newly landed members. She chuckled, her crimson eyes daunting as she spotted him not far off in the distance. "Karuzakain, will you ever grow up? But I suppose the fact that you're completely mad can give you an advantage." Anastair chuckled, the giant weapon on her back shifting as she crossed her arms over her chest and raised a thin eyebrow at the strange and interesting character known as Kaliem.

He turrned to see Anastair walking across to him... "I've grown up... I grew up and then time choroded my mind into nothing but decayed corpses..." He chuckled back to her exept doing again the wierd laugh that altered from child to demon. "There's two new recruits that I need to get to, so I ask nicely, pick up the book over there and I shall talk to you once my timetable calms down... Just give your name to Anastair, and then you can take the book..." He then turrned back to Anastair. "Could you do the book deal... If I don't get to the other newcomers, they could become wraiths... I hate thiose souless menaces..." He bowed to both the deity of light and Anastair and faded into the shadows once more...

Also the book deal is the codeword between demon's that work for death. It is basicly taking the name of the soul and giving them their book of fate... The deity's book is on the floor glowing...))

Aikan had walked far enough into the land. But everything looked just the same. She was afraid that she might be walking on circles or worse, that another creature like before came down to chase on her. Suddenly a sharp pain came through her. It felt like if she were definitely dying. That pain in her chest felt like a black hole swallowing what ever life she had left.

Reaching the bottom of the chasm, Echo heard the voices of other new arrivals. Hearing their shouts, she figured their luck wasn't nearly as good as her own. She hoped they would not find the cookies. She considered going back for her new friends, but that would just waste time. Hopefully, the chocolatey goodness could wait for her to get back.

Echo decided to follow a small lava flow, seeing as there wasn't many other ways to go. Small, pitch black spiders skitted along the clacks in the rock face, seemingly unpertubed by the humanoid's watchful eye. Much better to have spiders near than other man-eating creatures..

-Kaliem's Demonic Right Hand Man-

"You know, it is quite dangerous to be walking alone in a place like this..." came a voice behind Echo. The voice belonged to no other than Kale Shimaan, Kaliem's right hand man when it came to getting things done, and was his servant around the clock as a full time job.

Jinx, the pink cat that perched upon his shoulder, looked at the girl with her golden eyes. Flipping her head to move her hat slightly behind her ears, she said: "Looks like she is quite new here...perhaps we can...show her around a bit. I'm sure Kaliem-dono won't mind..."

Kale smiled as he reached up and stroked the cat's soft furry face with his clawed fingers, making her purr. "Hmmm...That is not a bad idea...what do you say, pretty missy?" Kale then smiled, showing his demonic fangs. Even though he passed off as a gentleman, Kale was quite sadistic, but never harmed anyone or anything without his master's consent.

If Kaliem had creeped her out, this man made her want to jump off a bridge. As her mind raced through options on how to respond, she made sure to make a quick mental note: 'Kaliem- Mad Hatter, Creepo Man- March Hare, Creepo Man's creepy-a$$ cat- Chesire'. Every fiber of her being screamed at her to say no and run out of there as fast as she could, but Echo knew those fibers were traitorous! With a slight smile and voice crack she replied, "O-Okay."

Kale continued to smile as he took in Echo's reaction. She would be fun to play with for a while. Taking off his hat, Kale bowed low. "I'm sorry for not introducing myself. I am Kale Shimaan, a mere servant to Kaliem-dono. This here is Jinx." he said, indicating the ever grinning cat. "It is a pleasure to meet you..." she said as she purred.

Replacing the hat upon his head, Kale then walked closer to the girl and held out his arm insisting her to hook her own within his. "It would be a waste to loose such a pretty soul among the shadows. Kaliem-dono has traps set all over for his own amusement..." he continued. Looking down at her with his one good golden eye, he smiled once more. "You will be quite safe with me."

Jinx then nudged her master. "Don't forget me!" "Quite right. I'm sorry..." the demon said as he petted the cat before she jumped from his shoulders and landed gracefully on the stone floor.

Kaliem emerged from a tree, sticking his head out looking around. "Stupid map... Saying that the soul is right here... Poposturous!" He said and realised that he was floating above someone. He dislocated his spine and bent backwards to see a girl clentching her heart. "Well isn't it a lovely day to be in the abyss... Shame that it will be daytime soon..." By now he was standing on her head with his dislocated spine. Smiling his wierd smile...

Eventually the pain in her chest slowly began to disappear. When she was going to stand up, she felt a greater strength over her head. She did anything to shake him off her. But she didn't have the power to do so. "Get off me!" Ai didn't know that person was and he was the second man to see in that place. What he said made no sense. She didn't care if the sun was going to rise or not. She just wanted to get out of there.

Kaliem cracked his spine and backflipped infront of her. "As you wish... But your in the abyss now..." He backfliped some more and then shreaded into shadows. He then reappeared dressed in royal attire. "I am the person that spoke to you, in your dream... You know, the dream where a strange voice echoed throught the darkness? Just think and you'll remember my name eventualy... But lil' lady, all I need to know is your name..." The crown on his head began to spin around in the air and then began to circle the two until blowing up into confetti. The shards of confetti then shreaded into shadows and became a blade in a sheath, placed on Kaliem's hip. "I would have been here earlier exept I got to carried away welcoming another soul..." He smiled and the royal cape began to rip into shards, and spiral above him in a number of different marks and patterns...

Yeah, I'm sure I'll be safe with you.. Kaliem didn't really seem like the type to set traps, but she'd only known hi for about ten minutes. So who was she to judge? Then again, that also applied to this man, Kale. This would be interesting, considering she couldn't judge others very well.

She hooked her arm with his, uncertainty an undertone in her voice, "I am Echo Callius, a....visitor here." She found it odd how the one eye he possessed was a golden color, one she had never seen in an iris.
