If you love me, then let go of me.
I won't be held down by who I used to be.
She's nothing to me.
» Ariella sighed as she was beginning to be a bit more calm. It was really sad how lately the only way she could dispel her anger was when she could beat up on something. She didn't want to turn out like Ryan, that was for sure. He had been controlling, manipulative, and hurtful to her. She guessed that she shouldn't have cared what he did anymore seeing as how she had a new guy in her life now but... she still wanted Ryan to pay for his crimes, even if he just saved Tristan's life and Allen's... but he was the one who endangered Allen in the first place!
No, he didn't... I did. I got too close to Allen in the first place and ended up putting him there in the first place... in Ryan's line of fire, she thought to herself. She looked a bit more calm as James spoke but only because her anger was disappearing bit by bit. She held herself a bit more as she felt a chill from the wind run up her spine, the hairs on her arms and neck standing on end from it. She was freezing.
"Well... I guess you're right... I just... I'm just fed up with him! I run away so I don't have to deal with him and now I'm going to have to deal with him for the rest of my life," she growled and shook her head. "Well, sorry to have interrupted your meal. It was nice meeting you, er-," she said and realized she never got the guy's name.
"Sorry, I'll see you later," she said shaking her head and started to go back up to her room to change and do her make-up all over again. Maybe this time she could curl her hair and make it look prettier than what it had been. Leaving it down for Allen to admire, As well as to cover up the hicky he gave me, she thought and her heart began to flutter with the warm thoughts of that little moment. Especially when he had twirled her around and laid her down on the bed. She blushed suddenly as she thought of how dreamy he looked when he was towering over her a little and how irresitable she had found him at that moment.
She shook her head and held herself more as she felt her body tingle from where his had was on her back and how their bodies had been pressed so close together. It at that moment had made her stop breathing. She struggled to actually gain control of herself. For at that moment, she realized that if Lorelei hadn't been talking so loudly down the hall... she probably would've given herself up to Allen in the heat of things. She didn't really like that thought. Things were indeed going a little too fast... but didn't she make those things that way when she confessed her feelings to Allen? Especially when he brought up the whole idea of marriage in the first place, though she knew that had just been a way to get her off him when she first changed into a lioness.
She sighed, it would be nice to actually have a plan like that though.
She tucked a wet strand of her once blonde hair, now brown because of it being wet, behind her ear as she walked to the lobby and stood inside the elevator. Leaning on the back wall as she waited to go up to the fifth floor to her room so she could change. She'd have to find another outfit that hadn't been soaked from the fire alarm sprinklers and she wondered, as she briefly touched her lips, what it would be like to actually be Allen's wife. She imagined it probably as passionate as it was now but... was she actually Allen's girlfriend? A lot of people assumed that if you kissed a guy, then he was automatically your boyfriend. But didn't you have to ask if they'd be yours first?
She didn't know. The only experience she had with guys was Ryan, and any other guy that came into her life, she warned away or she threatend away. Allen was the only guy who stayed... probably because Ariella was tired of fighting at the time but... she just couldn't stand not telling him. It felt good to tell him about her circumstance. He promised to protect her and she... she knew she really fell for him at that moment.
The elevator finally lurched upwards again, signalling that it was going to her floor now and she realized that the song the elevator was playing was the song that Allen had sang to her in Johnny Rockets in the mall back in New York. She smiled, her smile looking dreamy as her features lit up, much like a girl in love.
Her heart hammered in her chest as she recalled Allen's voice singing the very same words and for a moment, the memory's voice drowned out Josh Groban's voice.
Ariella's face flushed red as she remembered Allen translating the words for her afterward and she remembered how he once again took her breath away. He was perfect. Everything she ever dreamed in a guy and more. He was actually real. Her knight in shining armor. Her everything.
She was so lost in her train of thoughts that the bellboy actually was calling her, she roused from her thoughts and blinked a few times as she noticed that she had arrived at her floor.
"Oh thank you! Sorry about that," she said with an apologetic smile. She quickly made her way to her room, almost wanting to stop by Allen's room, and went to change her clothes so she didn't catch pnemonia.
She quickly dried out her hair and curled it, her long golden hair had a shimmer to it as her hair curled around her heart shaped face, framing her face nicely and she made it so the curls looked more like waves around the ends and they lay perfectly on her shoulders. She even swept her bangs to one side of her face again and made it so the bangs puffed up slightly.
She was finally finished with her hair when she switched to her make-up. Yet again coating her lips with the light pink cotton candy lipgloss by Dessert and Jessica Simpson, and curling her long black eyelashes upward. She brushed her cheekbones with some glitter blush and she was done.
She exited her room as she wore a better outfit, that was a pair of jean shorts that were a faded blue and a nice swoop neck. She still wore the same nice silver necklace with a little diamond stud that had been her mothers around her neck and a pair of matching diamond studs in her ears. A simple outfit if anything, complete with white sneakers with a baby blue pair of shoelaces.
Feels like the weight of the world,
Like all my screaming has gone unheard.
And oh, I know you don't believe in me.
Safe in the dark, how can you see?
