✖Charlie had a plan. He really did. As he felt Ariella go limp in his arms he felt some Zodiacs arrive on his floor. He sighed as he saw two appear. A young boy and woman. They ran at him. He took a defensive step back, his mind reeling as the boy ran at him. His plan was simple. He would toss the Leo aside and teleport to the boy. Giving him a few hits and tripping him would keep him busy. Then he would go the girl and do something simpler. Water was no problem for him. He simply had to heat out the area around his body and he would be hot enough to turn the water to steam around him. From there he would get the hell out of the hotel with both of the girls.
However, his plan was tossed aside as another Zodiac turned up; though this one was on his side. Lionel appeared, in all his crazy glory. He flat out attacked Ryan and sent him to the wall. Charlie chuckled as Lionel also took care of the water. It was handy having him around. He listened to Lionel and sighed.
“Figures,” Charlie said, picking up the Leo and hanging her over his shoulder.
“Ed never lets me have any fun. What a kill joy.” Charlie scoffed when he asked out his face.
“She’s a fighter,” he sighed.
“Freaking annoying. Like you sometimes.” He took his free hand and roughed up Lionel’s head, though he knew the kid didn’t like it. Charlie paid no mind to that. He watched as he began to speak another language and chuckled when his personality changed. Poor boy. Charlie couldn’t imagine having the voice problem like Lionel did.
Charlie shrugged when Lionel asked if they were taking her. He supposed it was a fine choice. It would just waste time to get the other girl. He figured it would be quicker. Plus, she was the leader. Edward would be happy with this one.
Charlie flinched backwards as Ryan attacked again and saw Lionel take care of it. He turned to the door and decided it was better to leave then. He was tired and could feel his powers draining away.
But Charlie forgot about something. It wasn’t just Ryan, and it wasn’t just Lorelei. There was a third one, and Charlie had forgotten about him.
