Walking alone tonight
'Cause I've only got room for two.
Me and my burdened black heart,
It's all we know how to do.
Yet I look for a bigger bang
Than the kind I continually see.
Sick of all this inertia,
Oh, won't you mend me?
Lover, can you help me?
I'm a child lost in the woods.
A black heart pollutes me
And I think...
You're a mountain that I'd like to climb,
Not to conquer, but to share in the view.
Pulled by a false inertia,
Pushed out by circumstance.
Pistol firing at my feet
That's coercing me to dance.

"Hello Devon! I wanted to call you about your request. Well, your father and I both agreed it was fine to buy a pet for you. But please rememebr that it is not allowed anywhere inside the house until you fully trained it, Alright? Well call me back when you can okay sweetie bye!"
Devon sat by the answering machine in much astonishment. It wasn't every day that he was allowed to bring in an animal. Of course he would rather bring in a girl. 'That would be the day.'
He chuckled to himself. 'well I better be off until Olivia rushes in to make me clean my room.'
Olivia was a special maid who was in charge of self discipline Devon. Good thing i have ways to get out of here. He rushed out of the window near by and took the nearest train.
'Well as you already know my name is Devon. I'm nothing special like most people would figure. Sure i might have rich parents, but I tend to stay away from the house as much as possible. Somehow I tend to draw in many cats, but none were ever to stay in my house. One reason why, Olivia.'
He looked out towards the window and saw the streets he passed by. 'Here it is.' He stepped out of the stopped bus not noticing the many girls who were watching him with blushing faces.
It took him a couple of minutes to finally walk into the shop he always passes by. It was a cat shop, of course. 'Hopefully I can find the one I want here.'
His eyes looked out towards the other men who where actually talking to the cats. "..."
He raised a brow and couldn't help but to walk away from them. Near by he watched the cats sleep in their cages. 'they are all really pretty..'
Yet I look for a bigger bang
Than the kind I'm sorry to know.
Here I am, first foot of the climb.
Watch me go.
Lover, can you help me?
I'm a child lost in the woods.
A lit path eludes me
And I think...
You're a mountain that I'd like to climb,
Not to conquer, but to share in the view.
You're a bonfire and I'm gathered 'round you.
Set this old black heart inertia aflame.
Send it away...
You're a mountain that I'd like to climb,
Not to conquer, but to share in the view.
You're a bonfire and I'm gathered 'round you.
Set this old black heart inertia aflame.
Set it aflame, send it away...
