Every Story has a Begining a Middle and an End . . .

In a time of war three families The Vantassles The Minunetts and The Vontraps must send their children to live in a safer place,
A mansion owned by a very secrative boy who "they" call Light.
Soon enough strange things start happening around the house as the children just start getting used to things with eachoher.

One day Light finally appears to the Children but he is nothing like they thought he would be. He leads them to secret places and shows them each how to use there secrets for good....
Until one day when he mysterously vanishes.
The Children must use there secrets to find him in the lost land of Casenjia, a place they have heard about many times in stories, where Light is being held captive by the evil Queen who has since cursed the land into darkness and eternal winter.

But that's not where we begin our story.
No, our story begins at each of the childrens homes. . .
right befor the bomb alarm rings. . .

Violet sits at her window seat in her room, reading a very facinating book about an imaginary land. She glances between pages of her book and out the window, watching the late eavning stars twinkle across the sky, and imagining what it would be like to live in such a beautiful and happy place like the one she was reading about, instead of the cold world that was being driven through by war that she exsisted in.
She closes the book to start a new one. She turns to the chapter simply called Love. And oh how she dreamed of it. Being of only age 15, her mother would not yet trust her with boys unless she has met them first. But all Violet wanted was some one to love her for the real person that she was, unlike those fancy suiters that only wanted her for her inhearitance money.
She started to read down about a boy who lived in a big empty mansion all by himself and how the only thing he wanted in the world was someone to share all he had with. It was enough to bring a tear to Violets eye. She was so captured in this book that she didn't even notice that over 2 and a half hours had gone by. She heard the clock strike 10 and looked up from her book and out the window again. She could make out small shapes of what looked to be some kind of strange birds and could hear somthing far off in the distance. . .
"Is that. . . a siren. . .?" she asked herself in her deep british accent, listening closely to the sound as it grew louder. . .

Elizabeth ran a damp, bage, wash cloth over the fine pictures enlayed on the side of her mothers favorite porciline plate. She had been washing dishes for the week, she hated it but it was one of her chores and it was better then cleaning the cat litter like her twin. As she starred at the pictures on the plate they reminded her of a bedtime story that her mother use to tell her from memory, the reason her mother knew it so well was because Elizabeth's grandmother often told it to her when she was a child. The young girl remembered her mothers exact words as she continued to wash the plates and cups and other things that were placed in the sink in front of her. All of the sudden a ringing caught her ear, she turned her head to the nearest window and an expression of horror came to her face. "Not again." she managed to whisper lightly before everything went black. The last thing she remembered was the crashing sound and her mothers plate hitting the hard wood floor.

Phaletheia was a girl of not many words. She was a girl of many complex ideas. She was practically Miss-Understood. So she was the above all. What did it mean to her? Oh, maybe another message to run away - It must be. But with all her might, she can't seem to get the fact that she couldn't leave out of her twisted mind. She sat there, every night, and thought about anything. It was one of the only things she could do to make herself not feel like a nightmare. It made her feel like she could thoughtlessly fly away, like a dream. Not a nightmare.

And thus, she sat her bum on a lonesome chair facing the moonlit window. Phaletheia's hands found her stuffed animal "Freak," along with the frilliest part of her dress. She stared outside with dark orbs, reflecting on one of the most popular questions she's asked herself: "What's out there?"

Immediately after she had asked herself that, her ears felt irritation. She heard a ring. A siren. A warning.

"What is this annoyance?!" She growled, getting out of her seat. Too bad she didn't have time to sit down and reflect on this new question - she already knew there was something out there that would make her regret doing so.

Violet felt the vibrations of the sound wave that the sirens were giving off and jumped from her seat. She ran out of her room throwing her book on the ground.
"Mum! The alarm!" she yelled as the sirens got louder and louder. She passed by another window and could now see that what she thought to be brids were hellicopters. . .dropping bombs. Tears started to fall from Violets eyes as she ran to get down stairs.
"Violet! Get your sister!" her mother called as she reached the top of the stairs. Violet turned on her heal and ran back to her sisters room to find her hiding under her blankets crying "Come on Emily! We have to get to the shelter befor--" she was cut off when she felt the house shake and head a close explosion. With out another word she grabbed Emily from her bed and carried her downstairs and out the back door where she met her mother. "Come on children!Hurry!" her mother shouted holding the door of the shelter open for them screaming over the loud sirens and explosions.
Violet put Emily down and headed for the shelter holding her hand but somehow Emily broke away "Bunny!" she exclaimed running back into the house "Emily!" her mother screamed after her "I'll get her!" Violet yelled back to her mother chasing Emily.
Emily had run back up the stairs and into her room where she found her stuffed blue bunny. She clutched it close as Violet burst into the room "Emily!Come on!" Violet screamed hearingand feeling the bombs comming closer. She Picked Emily back up but as she did another explosion smashed the windows in.They both screamed and Violet turned around sheilding her sister from the flying glass and running out the door. . .and she didn't stop running until she got safely to the shelter. She threw her sister on the bed and slammed the door behind her. She sunk to the ground in tears with small cuts tracing along her arms and back.

Phaletheia was not at all pleased at the continuous noise. Ruffling her dress in the sassy way she always did, she scurried towards another window, staring out at the same sky she's seen every night.

..... Wait.....

"...?!?!" She tried to shriek, but no words formed to do so. Immediately, she dashed for the door with Freak in her hands. She found her ears detecting that the children were already in the shelter. Where was she to go? Those horried bombs would drop any moment now - She wouldn't make it. Her heart thrusted inside her chest as she widened her Hershey eyes to find an exit of some sort. But what?

At once, she heard the most ear piercing shrieks in her life. Maybe it was her. But she knew there were more voices. She knew that someone else was stuck like she was. Phaletheia jumped to her senses, rushing towards that origin of shrill screams. The place was a mess. It was blanketed elegantly with millions of shards from the glass windows. The paintings and what not were messily placed, and so were those precious curtains. The wind snarled at the modest house, shooting an ominous threat at all of them. Particularly Phaletheia, for she still has not reached shelter of any kind.

"Mother!!" She shouted out with a staggered pant when her hands reached the cold door knob.

"Let me in." She demanded in a desperate tone.
