War slowly turned her head to look at Lily as she spoke, her eyes blank and distant. She slowly tilted her head to the side as if she were trying to understand a new language she was hearing for the first time. War’s eyes flicked to Lukas as she suddenly felt the strong dark waves. Her eyes quickly focused and she tried to step forward to follow him, but Alastair’s arms tightened around her. Her head and vision snapped back to Lily at the sound of the vampire’s scream. Sense returned to her head for a moment. There were arms around her.. “Ew!” she squeaked cutely and once again tried to pry herself from Alastair’s arms. “Nononononono!” she squeaked as she pushed against the vampire. “Lily!” her voice was panicked, concerned, and most definitely confused. War flailed in the vampire’s arms and he held her tighter, unsure of what to do in the situation with a flailing half-mesmerized human and an injured vampire. War’s elbow flew up and collided with Alastair’s nose.
Alastair stumbled back, his grip slipping on the human as his hand instinctively went to cradle the sharp pain. War slipped from his arms and ran to Lily’s side. “Lily, Lily! What’s wrong? Where’s it hurt? I can fix it. Just-just-yeah…” she quickly squeaked out as her eyes flicked over the girl, her hands wary to touch her. Though it may be unobvious in her current state…she was quite skilled with first aid. And despite her awkward state, her skills and knowledge in this area were fully intact.

Vincent slowly pulled away but kept his forehead to her's -must be becoming a habit now- and stared into her mildly bloodshot eyes. "As much as I want to, I truly can't. I have already sinned just by doing so as a married man and..." He didn't have much else to say, it all sounded like one giant excuse anyway. Just then Lukas ran into the room and Vincent turned his head to look at him, as did Liz, and he stood up out of the small puddle of blood that was created from Liz's wrist.

Her breath hitched when Lukas came in and Liz stared at him as he spoke, already beginning to feel the guilt set in rather painfully. She was at a lost for words as well and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't think of a thing to say to him that could possibly make things better, or at least, settled. "Lukas!" His name let out as she watched him leave and she tried to stand, only to lean heavily against the wall with the loss of strength due to her blood loss. She felt a hand support her elbow and glanced at Vincent before her gaze shifted back out the door just in time to see Lukas disappear outside. With a sigh, she used the pureblood's help and sat down on the bed, her vision spinning and blurring her surroundings. She felt her weight shift to the side when Vincent took a seat next to her and leaned forward on his knees with his arms, his fingers intertwining with one another. "Karma's catching with me..."

"How so?"

Lily had squinched her eyes shut, grappling at her lower back, "Its my back! It feels like someone rammed one of the bones in..." she tried to twist to the right to test it out but let out an unearthly squeal of pain, deciding that she wasn't going to try it again. So there she stood, on her knees, stiff. Her voice was constricted with tears now, "I cant move...its healed the wrong way...help!" She was slightly panicky now, and her innocent eyes could only look straight ahead at Alastair from afar like a lost puppy.
Yet, somewhere in the back of her mind, she was happy with how this had all turned out, despite her pain, "At least War is somewhat away from him now..."
With that, she abruptly clutched the human's arm and pulled her down close, whispering into her ear, "Help me with my back...and just stay near me...He won't bother you now." her eyes flicked and gave a sidelong glance toward Alastair, still suspicious.

War stumbled as she was yanked closer to the vampire, her innocent eyes were wide with worry and anxiety from the Lily’s contagious panic.
“Y-your…oh no! P-please! Stay still!” the hand attached to the arm the vampire wasn’t clutching instinctively shot out to steady the girl at her words. War’s eyes quickly flicked over the girl as she thought about how exactly she should move her without doing further damage, back injuries were quite serious matters…
“Li-Lily, I’m going to help you lay down on your stomach, alright? I need you to relax as b-best you can…” War’s eyes continued to flick over her body as she spoke.
She bit down on her lip as she carefully pulled her arm from the vampire’s grip. She carefully positioned her hands as she knelt next to Lily with one knee against the cold marble floor. She raised up a little as she reached her right hand around Lily’s shoulders, placing it flat on her chest, directly under her neck as her left hand carefully went flat against Lily’s abs before she very carefully began to lower the girl flat to the ground. After Lily was carefully laid prone, War’s hands tentatively moved away, as if the slightest touch would injure her further. Ignoring the protests of her own arm, her hands carefully moved over Lily’s back, trailing ever so lightly down the spine to find the source of the problem. War felt it. Her hand hovered just over the cloth of Lily’s shirt as she felt waves pouring from the wound, waves of tension, and twisted things, broken things…
Her hands slipped carefully around Lily’s waist and with a soft intake of breath, the girl sharply pulled up before jerking the body quickly down and up, snapping the spine back into it’s proper position with a loud crack. War’s eyes immediately flicked to the girl on the floor in front of her, her hands carefully but firmly still holding the girl’s waist. All the while, War had not once appeared to know what she was doing, despite her precise actions. The look in her eyes was far too innocent to be aware of maladies and wounds and how to treat such affairs.
“L-lily, does it still hurt? Do you want some b-blood? It’ll fix it all right up, I can-”
“That will not be necessary, ma petite, you have none to spare at a time like this, you must save your strength.” Alastair quickly and smoothly spoke as he took a few swift steps forward and laid a hand on the human’s shoulder. His eyes were a little wide, his brow a little narrowed in curiosity of such an event as the one he witnessed. The girl seemed to be…nearly unaware of things of this nature, almost to pure for such a knowledge, yet her skills had shown in their results despite her wary voice and nervous eyes. Her condition seemed to be…rather…curious…

Kaine chuckled a little as Elli rambled on, he placed one hand on her head and smiled. "No need to worry, I kept you up late last night didn't I?" Kaine turned around and looked towards the fridge. He walked over putting Zombie down on it before opening the fridge. The cold air swirled and danced around him. The difference in temperature didn't really effect him though. Kaine reached in grabbed a bottle of water not thinking Elli wanted blood. She was half wasn't she? Kaine dismissed the thought and tossed Elli the bottle. Kaine leaned against the fridge and raised and eyebrow, "So Elli, how come you are not celebrating christmas with your family?"

Searing pain.. Straps, binding him down. Darkness, all around. Fading lights in the distance.. The only things Lukas could see at the moment. A few more moments of this, then, all of a sudden, nothing. His mind cleared, the pain ended. Nothing but darkness, and the empty feeling inside of him. Voices.. Faint ones, ones he wish he didn't hear.. Ones that made him regret some of his decisions. "Hm.. Did he die?" One voice said.. Ceria? "No, sir. The doctor said that the injection would have this effect. He should be responsive in a few moments." Another voice.. One he remembered vaguely.

A memory flashed.

"Ah.. So you're the newborn.." A voice stated, as a silhouette would walk from the bushes. Lukas spun, glaring at the stranger, "Who are you..?" He asked, growling a bit. He clenched his fists tightly, and slowly moved to stand up. "You may call me.. The Greeter." The figure stated as it spread its arms wide. Steel glinted in the soft moonlight from under the man's coat, "However, it won't really matter, because you won't live to leave this place.." Lukas' eyes widened, "The Greeter, eh.." He smirked, "So, you're gunna kill me? Well then.. Let's tango." He said, letting out a dark chuckle at the poor humor.

The Greeter.. How many of these 'Greeters' are there? He knew for certain that there was more than one, he saw them at the door. A faint growl came from his throat, and his eyes shot open. "Ah! There's our boy. How are you, Lukas?" He opened his mouth to respond, but his words caught in his throat. He turned his head, coughing. A viscous, crimson fluid dripped down from his lips. He panted lightly, turning to look at his surroundings. He was in a dark room.. Possibly underground. The humming of machines was all around him. He looked down, he was resting on what looked like a large, metal table. He was strapped down, "Just.. Peachy.." He groaned, his voice lacking any real emotion. "Ah.. That is good to hear. Now, 12, unstrap him, and clean him up! He's got a long day ahead of him." The Greeter nodded, moving to unstrap Lukas, and pull him into a sitting position. The Greeter would then take up a rag, wiping Lukas' mouth. Lukas took this opportunity to look down at his own body. He wore only his jeans, and his chest had a fair deal more scars than before. Incision scars? Lukas didn't know, as soon as he entered, the Greeters had knocked him unconscious. His muscles ached, and he felt dazed. However, he was quickly brought back to his senses when a shirt was tossed at him, hitting his chest.

"Hurry up." A voice growled. Lukas did as he was ordered to, and quickly put on the shirt. It was a raggedy thing, likely worn by other... Test subjects. He got to his feet, but his legs buckled, and he fell onto the floor, grunting. A swift kick in the side connected with Lukas, sending him onto his back, a good three feet away. He groaned in pain, "I said, hurry up. We don't have all day to wait for you." Lukas nodded swiftly a few times, and rose to his feet, leaning against the wall to stay up, "What're you going to do.. With me..?" He asked, his voice barely a whisper, "Lukas, all your questions will be answered in due time. Until then, come along." Ceria then walked from the room, leaving the door opened. A sudden compulsion wracked over Lukas.. He knew he had to follow, he must do as Master Ceria commands.. Wait.. That's not right.. He thought, but he was already walking, in fact, he was hurrying, to get to Ceria's side. The two strolled up to an elevator, which opened as soon as the pair got there, "Good boy, come along." Ceria stepped into the elevator, pressing a button, "Yes.. Master..." Lukas quickly followed him, and soon enough, the elevator's doors closed.

Ding.

The elevator's doors opened, and Lukas was slightly blinded at the sudden flash of light. They were outside, and the sound of gunfire, and men sparring, was all he could hear. He blinked a few times, looking around.. These were no ordinary men, they were fighting with such speed, shooting with such accuracy.. They had to be Vampires.. Or something more? Lukas frowned, "Your own little army.." He stated, his voice soft, "Lukas, do not speak unless spoken to, understand?" Lukas nodded a few times, "Sorry, Master." They walked through the courtyard, up to another building, "Ah.. The armory. Suit up, you're going on a mission." Lukas blinked, but felt he shouldn't question it, "Yes, Master. Right away." He stepped into the building, looking around. There were guns all around him, loaded with the special UV bullets. He smiled, selecting a medium sized assault rifle. He slung it over his shoulder, before pulling out a holster from a cupboard, and putting a pistol in it, likewise loaded with UV bullets. He stepped out of the building, looking to Ceria, "Okay. I have my weapons. What am I to do?" Ceria smiled and replied, "You are to go back to my mansion.. And kill everyone within it." Lukas blinked.. He knew that something about this was wrong, but who was he to argue with Master Ceria?

Lily just kept her eyes tight shut throughout the whole process, and, when she was laid down upon the floor, her mouth opened in a soundless shriek as more of the agony shot up her spine. "God, 100 years old and Ive got the body of an ancient, a cripple..." she would kill whoever had done this to her...

"Ugh...." Lily grunted in pain while her sensitive ears picked up the large crack that reverberated in the air. Her fingers, flat on the floor, quickly were brought back under her knuckles, her nails digging into her palms..."Is it gone Is it gone Is it gone...Oh my god im going to die aren't I..." she waited for the crippling, for the upsurge of pain...but instead, wondrously, she felt...better.

She let out a gasp of excitement and she jumped up on her feet, arching out her back. "This feels wonderful! Thanks War..." through her exclamation, Lily didn't quite catch Alastair's words. To show her appreciation, for the second time, she stood on her tiptoes and kissed the human on the cheek cutely, before spinning and twirling away in happiness. She was on her tiptoes, dancing around the two like a little fairy, "Dont worry about blood, I shall go get some myself," she murmured softly as she gracefully danced toward the kitchen doorway.
Opening it with a flourish, Lily spotted both Elli and Kaine, and beamed at them, "Good Evening Kaine! Good Evening Elli!" for some reason the happiness at being whole once more overwhelmed her, the back injury had given her quite a scare.
Soon, she was opening up the refrigerator and pouring out a pack of blood, taking the wine glass and gulping it down. Though after just a few pints she stopped, her gleeful eyes going blank, the wine glass still held to her mouth...
"Lukas...his footsteps marching thunderously across the grass and back toward the mansion...he was showing purpose...and he also had a strange dark-aura about him...why would he be having such a murderous look on his face? Lily stood there in the image watching him pass her blindly by, her mouth opening as though to call him..."
She abruptly came back to reality, eyes blinking rapidly. She stared at her nearly-empty wine glass soberly now, as though confused by it. Then she shook her head and returned her attention back to Kaine and Elli, "Im sorry to interrupt again but have you...seen Lukas around lately? Do you know where he is?" The last thing she noticed before the mind-numbing pain was him looking down into the foyer from the railing up above. "Maybe it was nothing...just another vision from the past..."

"So...what's gonna happen between us?" Liz asked after a minute of silence, her voice giving the impression that she was rather afraid of the answer. Something about Vincent's response to...the kiss...told her her feelings were reciprocated but that didn't mean there was a future.

Vincent sighed and though this was more than enough proof that Alastair had been right about all of this, but then again..."I...don't think anything will. I'm sorry, but..." He straightened to turn his body to her and brought up his leg to rest on the bed for added comfort. "We were never meant to be together."

She rubbed the back of her neck and looked on at him, "I figured...after all that's happened, I'm starting to believe that." Staring at him for a moment longer, she leaned forward and hugged him, Vincent giving back one of his own. "It'll all work out." She nodded a little and pulled away, leaving her room to head downstairs at a deathly pace.

Vincent waited until he couldn't hear her light footsteps and headed down the hall to where he felt Tobias to be, remembering that he was the reason for Alastair's...abduction mission. "All because of my curiosity..." He muttered and stepped into the room to see Tobi on the floor. Kneeling down, he shook the white-haired vampire by the shoulder, "Tobi, wake up."

"It's not your fault, I forgot to set my alarm..." Elli gave a sheepish grin and watched as Kaine rummaged through the fridge. She jumped a little when a bottle came flying at her and with some fumbling, still managed to catch it, albeit upside-down. "Thank you." Holding the cool water in her hands, she listened to his question and thought about how to answer it for a second. "My dad lives over in Northern Ireland..." She began, her light Irish accent as evidence, "And my mom passed away a century ago. Something in her voice and expression told one that she was okay with it, maybe a hint of sadness, but aside from that, she had accepted this a long time ago, she was going to see her mom soon anyway. Twisting the cap off the bottle, she drank half of it and looked over when Lily greeted the two of them rather happily, "Evening, Lily." She nodded with a smile and stared at the blood the vampire was downing, wondering to herself when the last time she fed was.

War watched the girl bound away without so much as a second thought. She swallowed hard as Alastair’s grip tightened on her shoulder. Her eyes flicked to him “Hel-” War attempted to call out to someone, not realizing that her senses had reached out and found Kaine. He was there.
War slumped against Alastair as her eyes met his and with a soft sigh her eyes closed. The vampire scooped the fragile, sweet smelling human up into his arms and casually walked past the kitchen toward the study.

"I see..." she murmured slowly, still gazing at them with a puzzled look on her face. Then she set the glass down onto the counter, sighing and running a hand through her hair, "Well, I just saw a strange vision about him...hope hes alright."
Flipping around with a whirl of her dress, Lily stepped back out of the kitchen, back to War, but her eyes zeroed in on the now-empty spot. Confused, she peered left and right, too many scents mingled in the air too pick up on anything. "Where did they go?"
Lily continued to block the kitchen doorway, indecision clearly on her face.

Lukas smiled as he felt the wind blowing through his hair. He clutched his weapons, and happily continued onto the mansion, where his targets were. He could sense that he was getting closer.. Sense.. Bonds? No.. I've never been here before.. Right? He felt a little strange, as if he were forgetting something. But he shrugged, and sped up. After about five more minutes of running, he was there, looking directly at the mansion. He gasped lightly as he looked over it, memories flashed before his eyes, and he remembered.. He sighed, Master Ceria's will must be fulfilled. He hid the weapon behind his back, and waved a few times, "Guys! Come out! I've got something to show you all!" He yelled, knowing that it was plenty loud enough for the group to hear. He grinned darkly, ready to shoot down the people as soon as they were outside..

Kaine reached out to put his hand on Elli's shoulder before he felt a weird sense come over him. He paused for a second and retracted his hand. He turned towards the door and sniffed the air, war...? Kaine took a step away from Elli, he needed to go see what was going on with War. He head perked up again as he heard Lukas calling, he let out out a sigh... he would have to wait. "Elli... Take Zombie and go see what Lukas is up to... I'll be right out." Kaine took the cat off his shoulders and handed it to Elli. He smiled and rustled her hair a little before heading out of the kitchen. He saw War, who was that holding her? He wasn't familar at all with this guy... "Hey, let her go..." Kaine growled a little.

Lily stumbled to the side to, allowing Kaine some room to walk past her...secretly she sighed in relief--mostly about how someone else was going to go and take care of that strange man.
Though her sigh soon stopped short at the sound of Lukas's voice coming from outside, an image of his dark face from the vision earlier flashing through her mind. "So...he did leave the mansion..." once more the vision of the man marching on the grass sprang into her memory, and her stomach wrenched uncomfortably.
"Wait Elli! I'll go with you..." she wanted to get rid of this paranoia...maybe by seeing Lukas standing harmlessly holding Christmas gifts or something...it would certainly suit him to be last minute...
She was trying hard to convince herself, and it worked. Putting on a smile to hide her worry, Lily walked with the purpose to trail behind Elli if she were indeed to step outside.
