Lily's voice hit Vincent's ears easily and they jerked back slightly from the suddenly urgency in her tone. He felt his resolve waver but kept it under control until the strong scent of Liz's blood filled his senses. From how potent it was, it definitely wasn't just a small paper cut but much worse. From just this, his belief of what he thought was right shattered and he began feeling the panic in him, staring into the mansion past Lukas. Knowing that the newborn wouldn't let him in no matter what, he leaped up with all his strength onto the roof of the mansion, using his speed to travel across the top within seconds and dropped down. Just like how he did it back at Kaine's mansion, he grabbed the small ledge above the window and kicked in, landing in a layer of broken glass. He quickly took in the sight of Liz bent over on the ground by the wall, her hand wrapped tightly around her knife, the weapon piercing her wrist. A freezing shock surged through his spine and he was instantly by her and Lily on his knees, grabbing Liz's stabbing hand.

Liz didn't feel pain from her knife which confused her somewhat, in fact, it felt like everything was numbed. It was actually a bit of a relief, having her body dulling it for her, like she could breathe again. She tried to continue her plan but couldn't move at all, what with restraints on her arm and hand. Looking up, she first saw Lily to her side who had a hold on her arm and next to her was..."Let go..." She muttered, tugging again even if she couldn't get her hand to budge at all.

Vincent gritted his teeth and making sure his grip was good, spoke without turning to face Lily, "May I ask you to bring some bandages for her, please?" He said in a strained voice, his eyes narrowing as he stared back into Liz's red tinted ones. "What do you think you're doing?"

Elli slowly opened her eyes to a very dark room and she looked around for a few seconds before snapping to the digital clock by her. They widened when she read it was eight something, not that she had time to take in what the minutes were, especially since she realized she had missed the time she told Kaine. Scrambling out of bed, she tried to shower as fast as she could, even shoving a few girls out of the way, something she never does, and jumped in. After the fastest shower in history, she ran back to her room and changed while brushing her wet hair straight, quickly tying it up into a messy, yet still slightly stylish, loose bun. She grabbed her small bag and threw the strap over her shoulder, heading out the door. After about ten minutes of very frantic driving through snow and traffic, she arrived at the mansion. She climbed out and took a deep, cold breath of winter as she looked over at the front door, noticing two of the guys having some sort of...discussion? Not wanting to disturb them, she run around to the side to enter through the kitchen door like she has before, and peered in to find Kaine there.

"Vincent..." Lily sighed in relief. He would know how to handle this.
Following his orders, she quickly stepped out of the room to retrieve the bandages, falling into a run as she descended the stairwell. Immediately her gaze had darted toward the front door--no one seemed to have run in yet. "This is definitely no way to start the night..." her mind whirled, already so much had happened. Why did Vincent suddenly decide to come bursting into the room? Not that she was complaining...but now that she came to think about it...she hadn't seen him about the mansion for quite a while...

A couple seconds later Lily was dashing back up the steps and walking into Liz's room, holding a roll of bandages in one hand. Stepping back to Vincent's side, she handed it over to him silently, her chest rising and falling rapidly while her eyes quickly darting to Liz every few seconds. "She'll live right?--Nothing fatal?...I mean, I just didn't know--All that blood..." Lily tended to panic in situations like these.

Yet something in the back of her mind caused her to scrutinize Vincent's expression..."He could've been the cause for all this..." was her side thought...now she turned to face Liz, but continued to survey him suspiciously from the corner of her eye.

Kaine had been stroking the cat before he realized Elli had come in, he turned around and gave her a big smile. "I'm so glad you made it Elli!" Kaine walked over embracing her in a welcoming hug. As Kaine let go he felt the cat climb up his back and rest upon his shoulders. "I'm not of how much of a party this is going to be, there is always drama going on here." Kaine chuckled a little and scratched the cats head.

War felt the vampire’s hands press against her back as he stumbled, she giggled and looked up at him with sparkling big blue eyes. Her smile shined, her face glowing with innocent glee. She reached up with one hand and poked his nose, cutely. She felt him stiffen though she didn’t pay much attention to it. She was unaware that his eyes were inspecting, probing her face for a sign of what exactly was going on. His eyes instantly flicked to the mansion door at the smell of blood and then to Vincent as he leaped up to the mansion wall. War’s eyes widened at the smell. She could smell it…she could smell blood…she could feel…numb? Oh it was an empty pain…it was…Liz! War tried to scramble down from the man’s arms, still not really being fully aware of her surroundings until his arms tightened around her and held her in place. “Ma petite! Vincent will take care of the situation, but we must-”
War’s wide eyes flashed to Lukas as she tried to pry herself from the man’s arms. “Gogogogogogogo!” she squeaked as she tumbled from his arms and onto the ground. She felt so cold, her skin felt like it was vibrating with so much energy, so much emotion, such icy power, too much input, too much input… but though that was the problem, the thought would hardly process. War’s state of mind seemed to be quite…regressed.

As Lily was fetching the bandages, Vincent waited for Liz to stop struggling against his grip and slowly, carefully pulled out the knife from her wrist. Blood started flowing out more rapidly now and he firmly pressed his thumb over the short, but deep wound to stop it as much as he could. When footsteps were heard once more, he looked over to see the roll and took it with a quick 'thanks', holding the loose end of the dressing in his teeth. He quickly wrapped Liz's wrist up nice and tight, easily tearing it at the right length to tie up. "How could you do something this idiotic?"

Liz sat still as he worked, not having enough energy left to even bother to escape. She waited a few seconds as his question sunk in and muttered quietly, "Because you didn't want me."
"It's not like that."
"Yes, it is. Why else would you break it?"
"I did it because...every time I thought about it, it made me regret..."

She watched him stare down at the floor and finally, he raised up his bloodied hand to show her a dirtied band on his finger. Her gaze flickered between the ring and his dull eyes, her own beginning to well up as she connected everything, why he had left, why there was always something in the way..."That's...really low."

Lukas blinked as he saw War go into Alastair's eyes, he shrugged. Atleast the man was distracted. He was about to go and strike at Vincent once more when suddenly, he felt a pain in his arm. He narrowed his eyes, looking to it. There was nothing there. His eyes went wide as he smelt Liz's blood on the air, "Oh.. [********]" He already saw Vincent leaping, and narrowed his eyes, following the man through the air. Already too late to stop him, he swung in through the already broken window, landing crouched. He eyed Vincent, who seemed to be talking to Liz.. What the ******** was he trying to do? He glared daggers at Vincent, before standing up, and walking around to face Liz. He knelt down in front of her, eying her wrist. He frowned, "..Liz.." He murmured, trying desperately to ignore the fact that Vincent was the cause of all this. It wouldn't be a very fantastic idea to pummel him in front of Liz. He stepped back as he heard their conversation, he knew that this wasn't really his place. The feeling of uselessness overwhelmed him, and he sighed, sitting on the bed. His gaze went downcast as he heard more of their words, and at Vincent's last string, "I hope your happy with your choice, Vincent. Because as long as I live.. You will have no place here." He spoke, his eyes remaining down. There wasn't an edge to his voice, just a grim, resolute tone.

"You're married?" Lily murmured in shock as she also took note of the band on the man's finger. There was really nothing else for her to say since all this time she had thought that the man was single..."Must've been very recent im sure..."
She did an intake of breath after Liz's words, her eyes now darting between the two, clearly trying to observe during the silence that followed...
The atmosphere in the room had been stretched taut, she was too afraid to exhale.

Then, her head whirled toward the window just in time to witness Lukas hopping through. "Lukas!" she exclaimed at his entrance, and leaned back slightly to allow him some room. But throughout the whole exchange Lily's eyes never left Vincent's face...
"He seems so...sad..." her own eyes saddened slightly while she watched his gaze move down onto the floor.
Lily continued to stare distantly...
"...You will have no place here."
That's when her nose scrunched in disapproval.
Silently, Lily strode a few hesitant steps toward the man, standing over him while he sat on the bed. Her voice was the slightest whisper, "Come."
Gently she grabbed Lukas's arm, as though afraid that he might rage-fully attack her at any moment, and pulled him up and toward the doorway. Throughout the whole time her expression was resigned. Then she laid both of her hands upon his chest and began to push him out of the room, "We might as well just let them work this out...dont struggle." she looked up and squinted at him in warning.

Lukas narrowed his eyes as Lily pushed him out, but, he knew that she was right. He had no place in there, which.. Saddened him to no end. He frowned, his eyes shifting away from Lily's as they left the room, "..I know.." He murmured, turning from her, and placing his hands on the railing, looking down into the foyer, "..I.. I just.. Don't like this.. Not at all.. If she forgives him for this.. I.. I dunno what I'll do.. But it damn well won't be nice.." He said softly, his voice sounding rather sad, and almost scared of what was to come, "Dammit.. I just feel so damn.. Useless.." He muttered, his eyes moving downcast.

War scrambled into the house on her hands and knees, not wasting time to get up. Alastair followed her with a comical expression of concern. “Oh dear…” he skittered after her quickly, losing only a small bit of grace as he tried to bend down to pick her up as he followed after her.
“Nonononononononono!!!” she clattered toward the Christmas tree and leaped between the pile of presents and the bottom of the tree to hide with a squeak.
Alastair Blake stood up with a comically flustered look on his face as he brought a hand to his forehead to sweep some of the hair from his face as a sigh escaped his lips.

Lily crossed her arms and surveyed Lukas vehemently as he stepped away from her...all the while making sure she blocked the way back to Liz's room. However, after he turned his back to her and slouched his shoulders, she instantly felt guilty for thinking this way. "It's not his fault to feel like this all the time...must be hard to see the person you love constantly push you away..."
Her eyes burned out and she hesitantly took a step forward, reaching out a hand toward his shoulder but pausing. Then, gathering her courage, she finally laid it down gently, walking to stand beside him next to the railing, "Hey...chin up alright? Even if Liz never returns her feelings for you, which i highly doubt,...there will be plenty of other girls out there who would appreciate you for who you are Lukas..." if he were to look down at her now she would smile at him encouragingly, almost timidly. "I cant believe he listened to me...he seems to be growing away from the newborn extremes..." The silence that followed would soon be broken by the yelling of War.

Lily's eyes would break away and look down toward the commotion in the foyer. She raised an eyebrow, "What's Alastair doing to the human...?"
Quick to quench her curiosity, Lily leaped all the way down, landing onto the marble floor with a soft "thud". In fact, she had landed right next to the Christmas tree, blocking Alastair's path to War.
"...I dont know about you but I think that running away from someone usually means that they dont want you...would you mind explaining to me whats happening here?" it must've looked quite comical to the older vampire, seeing the slight vampire girl looking up at him with authority, a fierce protectiveness in her eyes, and her hands on her hips...

Alastair Blake frowned at the girl for a moment and then let out an exasperated sigh. “Miss Lily, how good to see you again. There…is no problem, here. Isn’t that right…Victoria?” a smile came to his face as he said her name and War’s head poked out from the tree, her eyes flashing a silvery-blue as she stared at Alastair.
He stretched out his hand with a soft, relieved sigh. “Come now, you’re beginning to cause worry, ma petite…”
The girl walked to his arms in a daze, pine needles falling from her hair as she stumbled to him. His arms encircled her and held the girl close to him as her arms hung limp at her sides. He glanced at the other vampire and flashed on of his charming smiles, hoping she wouldn’t notice the girl’s odd behavior. After all…this girl had made reference to Victoria several times as “the human”. She couldn’t honestly pay too much attention to her, now, could she? Then again…she produced quite a protective nature about her. Had she grown closer to the human in so little time?
“As you can see, lovely Lily, things are quite all right.”

Listening to Lukas' words, Vincent nodded a little, "I don't think I will ever be happy with my choice." He lowered his left and brought up the other hand, significantly less soiled after handling the bandage, placing it on Liz's cheek. He used his thumb to divert a tear that managed to fall and could see Lily shoving Lukas out of the room, probably to give them some privacy. Looking on at her now closed eyes, he sighed and spoke in a quieter voice than before, "Liz, I'm really sorry but if I could just expl-"

"Empty apologies aren't gonna get you anywhere this time." Liz opened her eyes and narrowed them at him a little, pushing his hand away from her with her good one. "If you were just gonna run off and get married, why'd you play me like that?" She asked, her voice stronger but still not very loud.

"You have to believe me when I say I never meant for it to go this far. Telling you the truth would have made everything more painful, for you as well as I." Vincent noticed her starting to move as if she was going to get up and feeling such a need to let her know everything, he held her shoulders. "I just need you to listen for a minute, please."

"I don't wanna hear it!" Liz tried to twist out of his grip but when she knew that wouldn't work, she attempted to push him away, and once again, to no avail. She didn't want to be here, facing him like this. It made everything hurt so much more, made her want to tell him exactly how she felt but was she sure herself? "You should've just let me die..." She bowed her head in defeat as she took fistfuls of his shirt, her tears dripping into her lap. All she knew now was how much she depended on this man whom she had only met a week ago.

Vincent couldn't help but wrap his arms around her and hold her close, "I would never let that happen. I just thought...that with our bond broken, we would both move on and live the way we wanted to but...I now see how wrong I was. It wasn't my intention to get so involved when I already knew my fate and though I deeply...regret it, this isn't something I can turn my back on. I have a responsibility as the eldest, however I'm not sure what I should do now." He never thought there would come a day when he wished he didn't have this duty and yet such a simple thing such as this could change his judgment so easily. Pulling away slightly, he lifted her head to look at him once more and with his sleeve, wiped away that side of her tears, "Please don't cry." He gave her a tiny, sad smile and placed a light kiss on her forehead.

Liz felt a strange peace when he did that and she released her grip on him to gently take his face. "Can't you just...let me love you?" She touched her lips to his and hoped to God he felt the same way. After what felt like forever, it was quickly answered when the hand encased in his tear stained sleeve cradled her neck, pulling her to close that meager distance between them.

Lily raised an eyebrow at the scene, slightly distrusting. "Well...it seems like there's nothing wrong..." She stared resentfully at Alastair for a few moments, then her eyes flicked to meet War's,trying to find an answer in them. There wasn't much to draw from there.
"War? Is everything alright here then?...want me to leave?" Lily spoke loudly, glancing back at Alastair every few seconds. She wanted the situation contained quickly. If there really was nothing wrong, she would feel rather guilty for coming down here and acting without thought.
"And I left Lukas all alone up there..."
Urgency hit her a lot harder now, who knows if the man won't go bursting into Liz's room once more now that she wasn't there?
"Hey...War?" Lily murmured impatiently a second later without giving the human time to speak, taking a step forward. Bad choice.
Suddenly, pain erupted from her lower back, and she let out a cry as she reached behind to lay a hand on it. It was the area where Lukas had hit her earlier...from the time she had blacked out.
"Whats...happening?" it felt as though she was asking that a lot lately. Her eyes widened as her legs buckled, falling on her knees. Tears formed in her eyes, this was just not her night...

Lukas said nothing as Lily spoke to him, he seemingly wasn't even paying attention. His eyes darkened a bit as she left, and he closed them soon enough. Although Liz and Vincent may have been quiet, he heard them loud as day. At Liz's last words.. He felt something snapping within him. His eyes shot open wide, and began to burn. Tears fell from his eyes as he turned around, walking to the room. He saw Liz and Vincent there.. This was all so wrong.. "..V-Vincent.." He tried to make his voice sound strong, but he sounded broken, empty, "..My.. My words.. I said them.. A-and.. I meant them. But.. .. I-I see.. That I.. Am wrong.. D-do what you w-want with Liz.. I... I see... Tha-t.. I'm not needed.." He tried very hard to sound strong, but his voice broke in several places. He felt his world tearing down, what had he done wrong? Everything was perfect until Vincent arrived.. But how could Liz even forgive him so easily? He shattered their bond, and caused her to go to a suicidal point.. It just didn't make any damn sense, "..B-because of th-is.. I'm.. Leaving. And... I know e-xactly.. What I have to do..." With that, he turned his back to them, and looked up, his head high, "..And Vincent... If you ever hurt her.. I... I will.... Well... You know the rest.." At the end of his words, his head fell. This mansion was no longer his home. But.. He knew exactly what he had to do.

Lukas completely ignored Alastair, Lily, and War as he stepped through the foyer. His eyes still burned, but tears no longer stained his cheeks. There was only one way to make this pain end. He moved through the doorway to the outside, and immediately began sprinting. After about 15 minutes of full speed running, he saw his destination.. Master Ceria and the Greeter's Head-Quarters. He walked up to the door, knocking. After a few moments, he heard footsteps, and the doors flung open. There stood three Greeters, and Master Ceria.

Ceria eyed the newborn before him. It was.. The one they had experimented on back at the facility. Sadly, the boy was rescued before the experiment could finish. Ceria hated to say it, but Lukas looked like he had been through hell and back. Possibly the reason that he came here? "Ah.. There is my favorite test subject.. Why have you returned, boy?" His snide, uppity voice rung through the air. "I have come to.. Offer myself, to call of your attack on the mansion." Ceria's eyebrow arched, how had this boy known about the iminent strike on the mansion? He would investigate that later, "Heh, and why do you think that you are such a worthy trade?" A grim smile marked the mansion owner's face, "I'm not as stupid as you'd think, Ceria. You were going there for me. You want me back, to finish what you started." Ceria's smile brightened, "Well, I see you have come to understand far more than I intended you to when we had you as our.. Ehm.. Guest. Hm, come in then.. And we'll get started." The Greeters stepped back from the door, allowing Lukas to enter,


"... Yeah. Let's go."
