You're Cute And...

Hesitant, she blinked. She had heard what he had said, and it made her wonder. Would it be alright? Her pale face put on a kind smile, instead of the smirk that tugged at her lips. He was a human, so the answer was obvious. Yet he wasn’t a normal human, she could tell that. Opening the door more she moved to the side and held her arm out. “Of course,” she welcomed him in, “we’d be delighted.” She looked over her shoulder at the other female. Elizabeth?

Nodding to acknowledge the other’s presence, Gabriella gave her a small smile as well. She was a much younger vampire… “My name is Gabriella,” she introduced herself with a tilt of her head. “I’d be happy to help you with anything.” Looking down she saw his bags and then she paused, and took them from him “shall I bring your bags to your room?” There were many rooms inside of the mansion, and she doubted that he’d stay that long. So it wouldn't be much trouble to take him in. “And I think Elizabeth would be able to show you around, sir,” she gave a small look to the said girl. “Elizabeth?” Her eyes turned stern as she looked at Liz, she had to keep her blood lust under control. All of them did... or at least, for now. Looking to the side she saw the other girl and she smiled, "good morning. Are you in need of assistance?" So many of them were coming.

User Image Micahia slipped from her home with out a sound, she had a small sketch pad and a bag holding her drawing supplies and a few other female things. walking into the forest she tried to find the one thing that would grab her and scream out paint me. She saw a few things that jumped at her but none compared to the mansion she soon found herself looking at from the tree line. She did not get close seeing people moving about the place, hanging back in the trees she flipped open her sketch pad and started to draw with the pencil she had been chowing on. Not knowing if anyone would see her did not cross her mind once as she drew, the building jumped at her more then anything and she felt a need to draw it and the surroundings.

Micahia would sit there for hours if she was left uninterrupted, she would get the colors and details down to a perfect T. She was just like that, it ether had to be the same thing you saw with your eyes or it was simply garbage. Why she was like that not even her mother could explain but she raked in a good amount of money for herself with her drawings turned painting. Many people waited months to get her next work and then it turned into a biding war over who would get it. Letting out a soft sigh Micahia glanced up from time to time her eyes never lingering long on the building, or the people around it.

Lukas nodded at Gabriella, "Thank you." He stated simply, taking his things, "No, I think I shall be fine. I will go and find myself an unoccupied room, whilst you deal with this.. Newcomer." He shot a glance back at the woman who had just approached. He picked up the backpack that contained his clothing, and tolitries. He walked up the stairs, brushing past Elizibeth, "Sorry." He muttered in apology, considering he bumped her a bit. As he finished climbing the stairs, he turned left, and began walking down the hallway. When he reached a room he thought sounded interesting, he knocked. No response. He entered the room. It looked like it had been empty for quite some time, so he shut the door behind him, and placed his pack on the bed and sat down beside it. Room number nine.. He thought to himself.

And now.. They are all dead.

User ImageLiz listened to the conversation with a raised eyebrow, wondering if her fellow vampire was being serious. Well, she was older, so Liz really didn't feel like it was her place to object. She heard Gabriella say she was supposed to show some human to his room and let out an almost inaudible sigh, downing the rest of her wine. "Of course."

Setting the glass on a table next to the stairs, she was about to cross the cold marble floor when the human proceeded towards the stairs on his own, her gaze subconsciously falling upon the man's neck. She had a taste for male blood more than female's, so the girl behind him would be safer than he, but she wasn't making any promises to their survival. For now though, with the alcohol in her system, her thirst was suppressed enough for her to resist so they should be fine. She froze for a split second when he barely brushed by her, her resistance wavering for that one moment.

Harmony looked to the girl when she was spoken to and shook her head slightly. "No no I'm fine really......just having a look around doing reseach for school and such. I'll just have a look around on my own, you can help him." She said in a calm tone of voice as she gave her simple smile, when she stepped aside to let them enter the mansion Harmony gave a sigh glade that she wasn't turned away. She wasn't in the mood to do a essay for school, plus she came all this way so she was going to have a look around one way or another.

Glancing back to the girl and the other person that showed she brushed her hair back from her deep blue eyes. There are more people here than I though there would be. Harmony though to her self the slight smile still gracing her lips, she then nodded her head to them before slowly walking deeper into the mansion. The girl wasn't worried about getting lost for now, she just wanted to explore for alittle while. Harmony didn't take notice that the male was walking up the staires cause she really didn't care for now. She would check out the lower floor of the mansion before proceeding to the higher floors. As she walked she let her finger tips trace along the craved molding along the wall taking in the fine craftmen ship of the wood.

Lukas stepped out of his room after a few moments. He would walk back towards the stairs, where he bumped into that one woman. He noted that she was still there, surprizingly enough. He walked down the stairs, only a few up from her, "Excuse me, miss.. Do you know where I may eat something? I haven't eaten since I boarded my plane last night." He stated, again, his politeness was forced.

And now.. They are all dead.

┌───────────────────────────┐

The line breaks and the guns go under,
The lords and the lackeys ride the plain;
I draw deep breaths of the dawn and thunder,
And the whole of my heart grows young again.
For our chiefs said 'Done,' and I did not deem it;
Our seers said 'Peace,' and it was not peace;
Earth will grow worse till men redeem it,
And wars more evil, ere all wars cease.
But the old flags reel and the old drums rattle,
As once in my life they throbbed and reeled;
I have found my youth in the lost battle,
I have found my heart on the battlefield.
For we that fight till the world is free,
We are not easy in victory:
We have known each other too long, my brother,
And fought each other, the world and we.

GABRIEL EVERARD

[ T ] he emerald eyes of one young man had been burning a hole into a specific spot in the wall. There was really of interest there. It was just a dark blue wall of a more than decent bedroom. Yet, greens had been glued to that blue for hours.

Well, it was just another day for Monsieur Gabriel Everard. He had been thinking of something. It was a memory, a fond memory of days gone long past, but as some movement in the far corners of the house reached his attention, the memory slowly faded back to the cellars of his mind to be remembered only at another spare moment. But there would plenty of those. What he sensed, if his inferences were accurate, was much rarer than his reminiscences of the past.

“Hmm...I wonder,” he muttered to himself softly, his eyes for once leaving the wall to look toward the direction of the mansion's entrance--which was for his room just a few feet from the door.

He stood up, humming something as he left his room. He walked toward the direction of the stairs. Gabriel first saw the familiar faces of his fellow vampires and smiling even more widely, greeted them with a, "Good morn!"

His eyes stopped on the humans, the visitors. "Oh, how wonderful! Company."

Mary smelt a human.Instead of reacting.She sighed and continued to play her piano grimly.Looking out the window as she played.Sadly thinking of her past.She played ever so softly.She hummed the song she was playing and sighed.Wishing it was brighter.She looked at the keys whall she played.Mia smelt the human go past her door.She ignored the smell.For she did not want to react in a way she may regret later.
Mary stopped playing she stood up and walked to a black book shelf and took a book off the shelve.Dusting it off she opened it.It was full of music.She walked to the piano and placed the
book on the small black plank that was connected to the piano and started to play a song she had wrote and had written in the book.She looked at the book sadly as she did.

A figure continued to lay outside in the sun as it beat down on his somewhat tanned skin, even if he wasn't human he still seemed to have color. The male's cold dark brown eyes seemed blank and emotionless which was normal for him considering his day to day routine. The blonde haired boy sat up hearing voices and turned his head and took a deep breath, a lingering taste of human seemed to be wafting from the house. This was new to him. The male stood up and dusted off the black and red striped t-shirt and unfurled the sweatshirt that proped up his head. He slipped on the washed out light blue clothe that had the design of black skulls with red eyes on them and zipped it up to his stomach. He quickly dusted the bugs crawling on his dark blue baggy jeans and soon started to head for the bacl door.
He opened the back door and started to head for his own room to block out any noises that would bug him. He trotted up the stairs and headed towards the corridor that normaly held all the rooms. He noted that a human a male to be exact had bumped into a female, he was uninterested and headed turned back to walk down the corridor. He searched his pocket and found what he has been saving for a few hours and unwrapped the Blow Pop in one swift movement. He stuck the candy in his mouth and of course started to suck on it like any normal being would do. After a few minutes of walking he came upon one of the doors that had faded wood patterns on it and turned the knob opening the door. He stepped into the room and left the door open. He needed to occupy his time with something, he wasn't able to lay out in the sun all day that would be bad.
A small note on the table had the name Renji written on it, he smirked opening the not addressed to him, 'Cleaning duty.' he was supposed to be cleaning write now. He crumpled up the note and tossed it in the trash with ease, 'Too lazy too care.' he thought pulling the headphones off the dresser and then sliding them over his senstive ears. He then sat on the bed and turned the headphones on and leaned his head against the wall with utter boredom.

High heels were invented...

Liz switched her focus to the sound of the very soft piano she had gotten used to hearing coming from the other room. When a voice rang out from behind her, she snapped back and turned around, seeing the guy from before. The guy who had so much delicious blood...No, no. Don't cause anymore trouble than they were already in with all the humans here. "Yeah, if you go through that door," She pointed to the right, "you'll find the kitchen. Help yourself to whatever is in there." In all honesty, she wasn't exactly sure what was there, but he can find what he wants himself. Yet another voice spoke out and she glanced over to see Gabriel coming out of his room, quite happy with the guests from the looks of it.

Harmony found what seemed to be study cause of the old oak desk sat in the far corner cover with dust and papers. It seemed to the young gilr that this hasn't been used for some time which pleased her for some odd reason. Running hand over few books resting upon the shelf, the leather binding the pages together smooth from years of wear. Pulling out one of these said book the blew the dust off the top trying to find a tilte. Yet this book didn't hold a title, sighing softly she carefully opened the book doing her best not to damage ancient lititure.

Most of the words she could read quite well, but other were in strange old writting that she couldn't figure out what it ment. By guessing she figured it was a book of some ones life, taking a seat at the desk as she continued to read the book with alot of interest. Harmony found history that was for sure, the intellect of the book was amazing and very ensightful into the past. She found her self drawn into the pages of the past, dwelling deeper and deeper into some one elses memories. Harmony then came out of her daze as she set the book down, even if this person was dead it was still wrong of her to read soem thing personal of thier. She felt as iof she had no right to read some that could be personale about their life.

She took a step back and nodded to the two. Now she was free to do whatever she pleased at least. At the voice she jumped, her eyes locking on the target. “Oh, Gabriel,” she let out a sigh of relief, putting a hand on her chest. “Morning to you as well.” He would have given her a heart attack if she had one. Well, she probably had one, it just didn’t beat. Her lips pulled into a smile as she brushed off the momentary shock. She was always thankful that her fangs would shrink until she was ready to drink. That reminded her…

If you’ll excuse me,” she brushed past the other vampire and went into the kitchen. The sound of the piano reached her ears and Gabriella shook her head. She had to relax. She fetched herself a wine glass and she looked in the cupboards. There it was: a green glass bottle. Grabbing it she popped off the cork that blocked her from her drink. She poured the red liquid into her glass before she put the cork back in and placed the container back, closing the door. “Finally,” she smiled, placing the glass to her lips. Her fangs grew as she whiffed the drink, and she took a sip. Leaning against the counter, her face to the wall, she let out a delighted sigh. There were humans, so she wanted to at least keep some amount of blood in her stomach. It was somewhat aged, and she had to admit it tasted a lot more bitter. "What I wouldn't give for a fresh drink," she mumbled, swishing the contents of the glass around. But it was either share or be hated, right? She exited the kitchen and walked back down the hallway. What could she do today? Aside from fixing her bed, she mentally reminded herself, sipping at the drink again.

Lukas would step down the stairs, brushing past Elizibeth once more, "Sorry.." He apologized, although he really didn't care that much. It wasn't his fault she was standing directly in his path. When he reached the base of the stairs, he turned left, entering the kitchen. He would walk up to the refridgerator, and open it. His eyes widened a bit at the contents.

"..What the ********?!" His voice would echo through the mostly silent mansion. He withdrew one of the blood packs, sniffing it to make sure. The familiar smell of Blood entered his nostrils. He dropped the pack onto the ground, and spun to face the doorway, his hand on his dagger, "..Whats going on in this place..?" He asked to no one in particular as he slowly walked towards the door of the kitchen.

They call me an Artist

Micahia gave up on the drawing when people moving around the house grabbed her eye, moving up to the door slowly she knocked ever so lightly. Micahia's shyness was kicking in enough that she truly did not wish to bother anyone but here she was doing just that she thought -at least. Waiting quietly she held the sketch pad to her chest with the black and white drawing of the house preset against her. Closing her eyes for a moment and taking a deep breath she sighed softly her mind racing.

'If they ask you were out here looking for inspiration and wanted to stop in say hello and ask some questions about the house. Who knows maybe one of them will know your work then it would be really easy, no real explaining why she was so far out in the forest. Mind you these people are.. so why should I not be?' Micahia asked herself as she worked a few things over in her mind. All around her everythign was just to stunning, nothing could top this well a very lovely face could, but she was not going to think about that now. No one would buy a painting of a person if they were not famous, it just did not happen.
