Raquel was so into reading she did not notice that someone had walked behind her. Hearing the voice she jumped slightly, turning around quickly. As she turned the bookmark came flying out of the book, landing not too far away from her. "Jesus you scared me....don't you know not to sneek up on someone while they are reading?" Raquel said, sighing slightly. She kept her finger on the page as she got up and picked up the bookmark, placing it back in the book. She then looked at the blond boy. She stood in silence for a while before asking, "Do you live in this house?"

Raven watched the girl reading, sighing softly. He watched as one of his brothers approached the girl from behind and he moved the curtain a little more, leaning on the window frame as he watched, wanting to go outside and retrieve his book but he would not go outside, not wanting to be rude and but into a conversation where he was not wanted. It always felt that way though, like no one ever wanted him around.

"This is your night, so smile..."
Luke smirked as the girl jumped, humans could be so easily suprised. "I didn't mean to scare you..." he said, although his eyes were laughing at her. "I was just wondering what you were doing on my front porch, reading my brother's book." He looked up at Raven's window, as if he were able to see him. Maybe he could. He waved at the window.

"Because you'll go out in style."

"Oh...so it's your brothers book...." Raquel said as she got up, dusting hersef off. "I was just exploring, doing what I usually do, and I came acroos your house and thought it was interesting. I looked around a bit and this book caught my eye, so I decided to read it." Raquel explained as she closed the book. Her explenation was a lie, but parts of it were true. "Im sorry for tresspassing. I thought nobody lived here." She said as she followed Lucifer's gaze at the window. Looking back at the boy she held out the book. "I should get going now. It's getting dark and i've got things to do. Tell your brother im sorry for reading the book if he was looking for it..."

Ayden Black

Ayden had been continuing along the hall when a familiar voice caught his ears, Alaster's voice. Normally he would have headed straight for Alaster, but the sound of a girl's voice made him stop. There was a girl in the house? That wasn't normal, not at all. Instead of stopping to speak with his brother, the young vampire simply walked past the doorway that Alaster's voice was coming from, moving past like a solid-looking ghost with the knowledge that Alaster would probably notice him. He continued toward the stairs, heading down them before moving around the ground floor. Ayden knew his brothers were around somewhere it was just a matter of where they were. He found himself nearing the door to the porch, stopping a ways away from it when he noticed Luke speaking with yet another girl. What was going on? Somehow, the idea of more than one girl's presence in the house made Ayden's need to find someone to explain the situation all the more urgent.

Raven watched from his window place for a moment, girls really bothered him for some reason or another, but he did want the book back... It was like tempting a little kid with a lolipop but they had to get a shot first. He sighed softly and moved away from the window, opening the door and walking out, shutting it behind him. He walked over to his brother and the girl, gently taking the book from her hand rather then snatching it. "I believe this is mine.." He said softly, opening the book to check his book mark was still in the right place.

Raquel felt the book get taken from her hand as she looked over at the boy that had just came out of the house. "Oh, yes. Sorry for taking your book. I found it on the porch and got slightly curious." Raquel said with a small smile on her face.

Raven looked back to the girl and nodded. "It's alright, I've been searching the house for this anyway." He said, shutting the pages on his bookmark .

Luke smiled at his brother. "Good to see you out, Raven." he said. His brother alienated himself. Luke liked being around people, generally. "I don't think I've introduced myself yet. My name is Luke." He left his brother to introduce himself.

Tabby woke up, streching. She had the sudden urge to draw. She took her notebook and a pencil and sat on her windowsill, starting a scetch of the moon. There was something going on on the earth under it, but she didn't know what yet.

Raquel nodded at Raven before turning to Luke. Once he introduced himself she said, "Nice to meet you Luke. The name's Raquel." Raquel lifted her hand, holding it out to shake his. Raquel wasn't one to be shy around people, considering that she travels the world to solve mysteries and myths.

Raven nodded. "My name's Raven." He said as he glanced at his brother, wondering how he could be so trusting to the human. He didn't waste the thought on it. Luke was a social person and normally a good judge of character, he trusted Luke for this reason as he was rarely wrong about people.
