Welcome to Gaia! ::

Jacqueline strolled through the relatively empty streets of the Sacred Kingdom. Today, she was on special delivery, delivering a special package of her adopted mother's famous cooking. She had just finished making the delivery with time to spare. Jacqueline's bright blue eyes flew from store window to store window, taking in the sights of the Sacred Kingdom. The silence was blissful, as it was very sacred these days. She wondered for a second why the street was so quiet, but then quickly dismissed the thought.

"Maybe I should walk through the forest on the way back.." She said out loud.
The centaur walked on. During the slight commotion, she had completely forgotten what she was doing down this path anyways. Her stomach gave a very loud noise, and sh covered it a little embarrassed because it was so loud. Then she remembered. Rukia was very hungry, and she had to eat soon. She remembered a sign that said a village was nearby, but now she forgot which direction she has to go. She couldn't remember if she turned around or not when she was following the guards. Now there was only one way to go now; forwards. She clutched her grumbling stomach, and paced herself on.
He raised his eyebrow and turned around, this event was over but, his day had just begun. Kaisku began to walk down a street, the incident almost made him forget about the reason he was back in this kingdom. He had a 'job' to do and it would be the first pay in weeks, when he reached the house he was very disgusted. He thought the meeting place would be like a mansion or something but, it was run down and old, it looked like his pay would be almost pointless. No one was there but, a piece of paper with something scribbled on it was stuck in the door. It said:
Your job doesn't involve seeing me so our meeting is unnecessary, If your successful your pay will be good. Your job is to kill a young women named Kaede, she is of the Stray kingdom and I want her dead. You have no right to know the reason and I want it done in Twenty four hours, she is armored, has blond hair and carries a whip. She shouldn't be a problem for someone with your reputation.
He stared blankly at the paper, was his target the girl he just met? If this was what he was being paid for then he had no choice but, to find her again.

Jacqueline walked further and further down the street until she reached the edge of the forest along the border of the Sacred Kingdom. She stood there and stared up blankly at the sky. Somehow, she didn't feel like leaving. If she went back, it meant making some more deliveries. Jacqueline, in frustration, pulled the pink scruchie from her pony tail. Her shining purple hair fell down and cascaded down her back. She pulled a yellow dandelion from the grass and stared at it for a bit.
Kaede eased storm into the stables for resting, unlatching him from his raines so he could once again feel free. His mood seemed pleasent and she snuggled against his large body, he had been with her since childhood even when the fire happend. Before her father died she remember how she watched him and his warriors practice their fighting, the men taught her alot about fighting and riding even for a girl they accepted her.

Kae remember sitting on the wooden fence sometimes getting a chance to talk to Strays king he would say hello to her and ask her how the family was. Her father got along with him, after all he was his knight. But when her dad died no one knew who she was or her family, all was lost in flames. Kaede let go of Storm walking out of the stables into the green grass, it was hot yet the breeze cooled her.
Rukia's heightened senses picked up a beautiful scent. The scent was strong and powerful, and Rukia walked along a path in its direction. She followed the scent to a cross walk, and walked towards the border, where the scent came from. She picked up her speed, not at a running pace, so she could not lose scent. It only took a few minutes until she spotted a girl sitting in the grass. Her hair was a violent shade of a bright purple, and she stared at a yellow dandelion.

The scent was more powerful than ever, and Rukia leaped for the girl, and the scent coming from the container she was carrying, which was full of food. She had ti eat something, even if it would resort to stealing baskets from little girls.

Jacqueline somehow found herself sitting down on the grass, her fingers playing with the many tiny petals of the dandelion. Her mind drifted back a couple of years, a decade to be more precise. Jacqueline could still remember the heat of the flame burning against her cheek, her short, curt, tired attempts for clean air... Her blue eyes reflected the violent red of the fire... She could still remember. Not a lot, but her mind still had its own collection of various clips from her one year or so at the castle. These memories kept coming back to her these days. After hearing bits and pieces from her parents and the villagers when she was out delivering. Her parents never spoke of these things in front of her. They thought it would upset Jacqueline. Sometimes, it did. But mostly, it doesn't.

'It's all in the past now. It won't happen again.' Jacqueline frequently reminded herself.

Jacqueline's head tilted up, to look at the street, in the Sacred Kingdom. It didn't look much different from her own city. She never understood the point of the war. Jacqueline could almost remember seeing a boy, some years older than her, escaping the castle years ago. She couldn't have been sure if it was the prince or not. But still..

"If he was lucky enough to be into such a wealthy family, shouldn't he be lucky enough to escape the fire?" Jacqueline voiced out loud again.
After searching for a while Kaisku finally found his 'target', he hid silently in a tree with his hand on his sword's hilt waiting for the right moment to attack. It was hard to believe this girl was someone he had to 'deal' with but, his guess was correct. He would end up either fighting against or with the people he saw only a little while ago, his heart began to beat faster as he readied himself.
There was a change in the wind, not literally but Kaede could feel the danger. Like a sixth sense, a basic human instinct, a guT feeling. Whatever you choose to call it, Kaede was feeling it and how uncomfortable it was. Her hand was ready to reach her whip, her armor felt not so heavy for some reason and her body stood still, she kept quite.

Jacqueline had a sense that she was being watched and cautiously turned around. She was greeted by the sight of a girl. Or a horse, maybe? The sight was very pretty, really. But also, very shocking. For Jacqueline had never saw a girl that was also half horse. Her eyes opened wide and stared at the creature, unblinking. Jacqueline's pink lips were also opened a tad bit in the shape of an 'O'.

"H-H-hello.." Jacqueline finally managed to say, slash, mumble. She grew nervous as her hand grabbed on tightly to the small basket of food.
He silently dropped from the tree and landed behind her, he unsheathed his sword slowly. It made a metal scraping sound as it left the sheath, he then pointed the sword out in front of him. He held it about two inches from her ear, he said nothing as he stood there. This was the moment that would decide their fate, His mind still wondered if it was the right thing to do. Was money more important or was the life of this girl of more value?

Thank you now. :3>

"Oh, I'm starving for some real food!" the centaur whinnied. She plopped down beside her, outstretching her arms towards the delicious-smelling food.
"Please? Oh I'd do anything for some of that! I haven't eaten real food in days!" she gasped. The food, her chance of real food was but metres away, and she needed it now. She licked her lips, knowing she'd enjoy eating that. Whatever was in it, she could care less now. she'd eat horse meat right now.
In an instant she felt the presence of the intruder, she whipped around lashing her whip at his arm to were it wrapped around it, Kaede's face looked more scared than ready to fight. Her grasp on the whip was tight but she didn't want to do it she took a look at him, it was the same man she smiled at today. "Why" Kaede whispered to him, her voice sounded almost hurt. She would of never suspected... She dropped the whip not even caring about her death for that moment

Jacqueline, still in a state of shock, slowly passed the basket of sweets towards the creature. Her eyes still did not move away or blink. In fact, they were getting tired and dry.

"There's some cookies, a piece of chocolate cake and a bottle of juice." Jacqueline said quietly. She had been saving them for the way back but since the other girl/ horse had looked so hungry and kind of desperate, Jacqueline opted on sharing her food. Besides, home wasn't that much further away..
