Lunaire had looked through the gate walking back and forth with her fingers sliding from one metal bar to the next and repeated this for a few minutes as she tried to find something to open the gate. A click of a button could be heard from behind her as the gate started to slide open to the left and Lily jumped back then gave a sigh of relief that it was only the gate. "Mom!" She exclaimed as she turned to see her mom holding in a laugh.
Lily stomped off and went to the double front doors. There wasn't an eyehole to see who was standing outside your door because it was unnecessary. There was glass in the middle of the door with about 5 or so inches surrounding it to hold the glass in place. It had intricate designs inside the glass and a metal door handle. Lily was speechless as she held the door handle, looked back for her mom's nod and walked inside.
The house smelt of vanilla and had some boxes already inside. The boxes were pre-labeled so they knew were everything had to go so before the mover's left Lily and her mom counted all the boxes to make sure they were all there then gave the mover's the go. "Its.. So much larger than our old house.." Lily spoke softly as she left the door wide open and walked inside inhaling the sweet smell of vanilla.
