Welcome to Gaia! ::

Fai frowned deeply and unlike Bloom dashed forward, Koishi coming with since the dragon was on his shoulders. The mage jumped over the flames and looked behind him, "Stay there Bloom-chan, Sakura-chan, Syaoran-kun!" He didn't bother to mention Kurogane because for one thing, Kurogane was more skilled than him in fighting, and secondly, if the blond told the ninja to stay still it was assured that he wouldn't. Kurogane did whatever he pleased.

"What did you do to that girl?" Fai said as he came up to the odd looking woman.

Koishi bit Fai's as if to scold him for using such a tone with her. A small gasp escaped his lips and he flinched. His blue eyes looking to Koishi and similar colored eyes gazed at him intently.

Fai wondered what the dragon's problem was. First it tried to run off, now it bit him?
"Fai-san!" Sakura cried in a concerned voice but make a small whimpering sound and moved a little bit more behind Syaoran when she heard his command of staying back. She wanted to help, but there was nothing she could do, especially if the woman attacked.
The moment Fai jumped over the flames Bloom called out "Fai, be careful!" She stood there a moment longer when Gwee's head perked up and looked toward the fire. A small whisp of smoke escaped his mouth. Sparky and Puffle began to growl at whoever was past the fire again. Bloom looked down at her dogs and repeated the hushing noise; the dogs each barked once before finally quieting down.
Bloom looked back up and tried to see past the flames, concern showing on her face. Fai had told her to stay, but something was up on the other side of the fire. And if one of her friends was in trouble, Bloom would come to help.
Kurogane hesitated but a moment. He had noticed that the flames harmed nothing and so he simply stepped through them and paused when he saw the strange blue woman.

Pan could hear voices and people shouting and her closed eyes twitched at the sounds. She slowly openned her eyes, her face confused. Suddenly it registered that the woman must have put her to sleep somehow. Pan got to her feet, looking like she was sleepwalking and put her hand against the tree next to her for support.
After watching Kurogane walk through the flames, Bloom and her two dogs started to follow. Before actually walking through the fire, she turned to Syaoran and Sakura and said "we'll be right back."

She turned and walked through the flames. On the other side she caught up with Fai, Kurogane, Koishi and Shimi. Her two dogs growled at the odd woman while Gwee actually looked almost happy to see her.
Syaoran took a defensive stance in front of Sakura and watched all the others go over or through the blue flame. Even Bloom who Fai had told to stay behind went through. Syaoran didn't have a good feeling about her disobeying him. Although Fai was typically light-hearted and joking, when he said something seriously, he meant it seriously.
Fai's eyes darted away from Koishi quickly as he noticed the fainted girl regaining conciousness. His lips parted and for a moment nothing but an odd choking sound came out until he managed words. "Miss," he addressed the young girl. "Are you all right?"

From either side he noted that both Bloom and Kurogane had followed, Kurogane he had half expected to follow him, but Bloom, he was almost surprised that she followed.

Pan looked up to the man who spoke to her. For a moment, she just stared at him, unable to completely register and process proper thought yet. She finaly mustered up enough sense to speak clearly. "Yes..." she said, a little bit weak. "Yes, I'm fine," she said more strongly. She shot a fearful look to the mysterious woman and took a step away from her cautiously. Pan noticed the dragon on the man's shoulder and tensed stiffly, getting a little pale.
Kurogane too noticed the young woman and noticed her tension at the site of the mage's dragon.

"I am Kurogane and I will allow nothing to harm you." He took a step closer to the young woman in his best non-threatening manner.
Craybird was shocked. These were truly intrepid adventurers as they were not frightened by her flame. Most saw it and ran, not knowing it's purely decorative purpose.

Also the young woman she had sent into sleep was rousing already. Yes, these were all very interesting creatures.
Fai tilted his head wondering what had scared the girl about him. Most people found him to look harmless and liked him. Or at the very least they typically found Kurogane to be more frightening than him.

He followed her gaze and found that it didn't go to him exactly, but to Koishi. A small smile slicked his lips as he understood, she feared the scaly creature. He could understand that. "Sorry." He bowed his head at her and took a couple steps back.

His sapphire gaze went to Bloom and he gave her a stern look. The mage was not entirely thrilled that she had disobeyed him. It seemed to be okay, but still, there might have been some danger. She was still learning to defend and fight.
Bloom was watching as Kurogane and Fai approached another girl who had apparently been sleeping. She once again hushed her two dogs and looked up to see Fai looking at her sternly. She was confused why would Fai be upset with me? she thought. She quickly averted her eyes to the other woman, the one that Gwee seemed to know. She hadn't moved once since they came through the fire.
Craybird sensed that there was some kind of tension brewing between two of the adventurers standing in front of her. This was not turning into a good begining for her relationship with what she hoped would be the champions of her planet.

She quickly sent a "stay" command to the adventurers dragonletes and then made a sharp whistling sound. From every branch, or so it seemed, dragonletes in all the known colours appeared.

After another sharp sound they gathered together, she and the dragonletes, and rushed, at what seemed impossible speed, away from the small clearing.
Fai looked away from Bloom, his stern gaze turning into one of surprise. The woman, and a bunch of her dragons just ran off. This was not what was so odd. Koishi had not tried to follow. "Koishi." The mage reached up to his shoulder and lifted the small creature from him. "Go to the children."

For a long moment the dragonlete only looked in the direction that the woman had disappeared in, but then nuzzled Fai's cheek and took off, flying back to Sakura and Syaoran. "Miss." Fai spoke gently to the frightened child his signature warm smile coming to his face. "Please, don't be alarmed. We won't hurt you."
