Welcome to Gaia! ::

Craybird was just about to open the door to the bath when she heard a knock. "Yes, come in." She knew she looked very strange. She did not know that she had ever worn trousers before and these were rather baggy as was the shirt. She liked the shoes as they reminded her of her scales with their rich blue colour. Just then a drop of blood fell into her eye and she knew that she would need a bandage of some kind.
Bloom came in to find the woman in baggy clothes. Also, some blood trickled down the woman's face. Bloom held out the tin "we all wanted to make sure you're ok. I'll bandage your wounds for you." She smiled as a gesture of kindness before pointing to a chair in the room, "do you want to sit down?"
Craybird smiled in return and sat in the seat that Bloom had indicated. "You have all been so very kind to me. I hate to be such a bother." She swept her pale blue hair off her forehead so that this seemingly very kind woman could bandage her wound.
Bloom set to tending the small wound. As she worked, she talked to fill the silence, and to perhaps learn a little more about this mysterious woman. "I'm Bloom, by the way. What's your name?"
Craybird listened to the young woman as she tended her wound. Her voice was soft and kind and she knew that this one was not afraid of dragons and so she decided that this one was what she seemed to be.

"My name is Bird, sometimes because of my hair they call me "Bluebird" but that is only in fun."
"Bluebird, huh? Hope you don't mind if I call you that," Bloom replied, placing a bandage on the wound, "well its very nice to meet you. I'm all done. I'm no doctor but I can assume that that injury will be healed up in a short time."
"Thank you, Bloom" Craybird reached up and gently felt the bandage. "Seems like you've done a good job." Craybird bowed.

She had not eaten in a very long time and just then her stomach rumbled loudy. "Oh dear! Please excuse me. I am so very hungry. Didn't Pan-san say something about food?"
"I think she did," Bloom said while putting things back into the tin. "I'm hungry too. Why don't we head back to the others? I'm sure we could find something to eat."
"Sounds good, let me fold up this blanket." She leaned over and proceeded to fold the blanket that Pan had given here at the cave. She then set it down on a bench and turned to Bloom.
"Why don't we go get some of that food. I think I can almost smell it, or is that just my stomach talking?" She gave a small giggle for affect and waited for Bloom to lead the way.
Bloom opened the door and motionde for Bluebird to pass by her. She, too, couldn't wait to eat. She reminded herself that her two dogs and Gwee still had to eat. Sparky and Puffle were fine, they could eat table scraps or some of Bloom's food; but she hadn't had a chance to feed Gwee in awhile. She hoped that the dragon was ok since last she saw him.
Craybird nodded and passed through the door, when she did the smell of food assaulted her and her stomach growled louder than ever.

It was then that she looked up and noticed that the group that had been speaking about her before was still gathered in a tight knot at the end of the hallway.
"'scuse me," Bloom said, passing by Bluebird and walking towards the others. "Hello!," she called out as she approached them. She stopped and turned, looking at Bluebird as she spoke, "this is Bird."
Craybird bowed in the direction of the small group. "I am very pleased to meet you and thank you so much for your help. I do not wish to be any trouble, but whatever I am smelling, smells wonderful." At just that second her stomach decided to roar in hunger.
Fai chuckled at the sound, but did not comment on it as he came forward and bowed extravagantly to Bird, his blue eyes gazing up at her and his lips twisted in a great grin. "Hello Bird-san! I'm Fai, and behind me is Kuro-chu. We're both terribly sorry that we alarmed you back in the cave, we really meant no harm."

The blond man stood straight up and motioned toward the kitchen, "If you're hungry, I think there's still something left, but I can't be sure."

Pan had caught a glimpse of the strange woman passing by the doorway, probably going back to where the others were. Pan took one last violent whack with her wooden stick at the hay-dummy, and then proceeded to follow her out.

"Ay," Pan replied in a friendly manner. "Your food is in the kitchen, and it's freshly heated," she added, opening the sliding door to the dining area. She motioned her hand to the covered plate of food on the table and took a container of milk from the ice box and poured a glass for Bird.

She set it on the table with a kind smile. "Here you go; please enjoy!"
