Bloom reached out to call for Fai to wait when her dragon lept off her head and followed Fai and Koishi towards the bushes. "Gwee!" Bloom called after her dragon, beginning to chase after them. Her two puppies, Sparky and Puffle, ran past her towards Fai, Koishi and Gwee. She turned to the group "Be right back!" and ran to catch up with Fai, her dogs and the two dragons.

Pan was on her way home from the market, a small bag of rice and a bottle of milk cradled in her arms. She heard some people speaking off in the distance and became curious. She peeked over some bushes curiously, watching as a tall blond boy ran past, followed by two puppies, a dragon, and a girl. She blinked with wide, clueless eyes at the uncanny scene and followed them secretly, watching what happened next. "Are they foriegners?" she whispered to herself.

[Kurogane the Ninja]

Kurogane shakes his head. "I will remain here. At least Shimi knows his training" At this point Kurogane's half grown puppy runs after Bloom and Fai.

[Crayolabird]

Craybirds mouth falls open as he sees not only some of these people running directly for her, but she recognizes the two dragonletes as one that ad been stolen from the creche and the one she had given to Yuko-sama's friend.

"They are finally here!" she whispered, "But I can't let them just bowl into my charges." Craybird took a deep breath and sprayed the ground just in front of the intruders with fire, the color of sapphires.

Pan noticed strange lights and a comotion close by and went to look. She was shocked when she tripped and nearly fell into a blue inferno. "Ack!" she cried, pulling away from the fires in fear. "What on earth...?" Pan looked up to see a woman standing nearby. Pan stared, wide-eyed and clueless. "Huh?" she exclaimed blankly.

[Mage Fai D Flourite]

Fai gasped, reaching out at the very last moment, grabbing onto Koishi and holding onto the small thing dearly as he stopped just before the blue flames. He looked to the bushes, yes, there was at least one living creature in there.

Slowly the magician took a few steps back, his fingers holding gently, yet firmly onto his baby dragon as he did so. The small creature still tried to get from his hands to the source of the fire.

Bloom also reached out and managed to grab onto Gwee, holding him close to her chest. She called out "Sparky! Pufffle!" and her two dogs stopped and waited as she caught up with Fai and Koishi. She stood next to the mage, also staring past the fire. Her dogs stood next to her and growled at whoever was beyond the flames. Gwee, like Koishi, was also struggling to free himself from her gentle hold.

Bloom looked up at Fai and asked "what type of fire is this?"

Craybird took another breath to spray blue flame once again, but then stopped herself. The strangers had stopped just short of the flames range, as had been her intention.

She also noticed that the two dragonletes with the strangers were still trying to reach her and so she reached out with her mind and calmed them, telling them they would be with her soon.

[Mage Fai D Flourite]

Koishi instantly settled down, crawling onto Fai's shoulder and wrapping its tail around his neck before it nuzzled to his cheek as if saying sorry for running off like that.

The mage gingerly reached up and stroked the small creature's head, his eyes still gazing straight ahead to the bush, waiting for whomever was hiding within it's branches to come out.

Like Koishi, Gwee also settled down and snuggled into Bloom's arms. She looked down at her two dogs and made a small hushing sound. Both dogs immediatly stopped growling, yet continued to stand gaurd around her.

She continued to stand next to Fai, also waiting for the appearance of whoever had conjured up the magical flames.

Pan noticed small bits of movement in the bush right next to her. Curiously, she crouched down and looked into it. A collection of small dragons were all hiding there.
"Kyaaaah!" Pan shrieked, falling backward again. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end, and a chill ran up her spine. Pan tried to clumsily, kind of, crab walk away from the bush and backed up to atree fearfully. Pan was terrified of anything with scales or leathery skin.

From her left, Craybird noticed sound and movement. She had been concentrating so hard on the strangers that she had not noticed that a village girl had stumbled on the scene.

She approached the cowering girl slowly while trilling comfortingly in her throat. "Don't be afraid. We won't harm you."

She noticed the reaction to her dragonletes and she sighed a little. I she had that reaction to them, then her reaction to Craybird would probably be even worse. 'This won't do.' she thought and sent her mind into the girl's and gently put her into a deep sleep where her fear could not reach her.

Pan saw the woman approach her and cowered back against the tree desperately. She was just about to scream again when she suddenly felt very strange; her eyes closed and she slumped to the ground like a sack of dust, trapped in sleep.

[Kurogane the Ninja]

Kurogane stood and observed. At first he had been alarmed when he saw the blue flame, but noticed that it's touch harmed nothing. So he kept his silence and continued to observe.

As Bloom stood before the flames she heard a scream from close by. Sparky, Puffle and Gwee looked to her for instruction. "Stay," she commanded, not straying her eyes from the flickering fire. She didn't know who or what they were up against and didn't want her friends to get hurt.
