Spraky glared...damn Keegan. She couldn't smack him, merely because he tried his best. Even though his best was not...the best. She sighed, taking her hand from his shoulder as if to tell him the danger had passed.
She looked to Will over the Lieutenant's shoulder...poor guy. No wonder one of the nicknames he'd originally given himself had been drunk arse.
Rose narrowed her eyes at the new comer. He was most certainly not polite; she knew that no one had been happy to see her, but at least they had all shown her the proper respect. This fool was scum on the bottom of her shoe. "I see. Well I have seen several good men of mine and innocent people die by the hands of your types, sir. And yet I do not find it necessary to voice my prejudices to your unsightly face in such a vulgar manner right upon meeting you." She then turned back to Will. "No government is perfect, but we are as close as it is going to get. And you are drunk, which is something you shouldn't be in front of your crew mates." She felt something like pity for him, and if she was a kinder, gentler person would have put her arm around him and helped him to his quarters right then and there. But she wasn't, and didn't. Such an act was rather personal, she felt, and she did not usually get personal if she could help it.
"You said it. No government is perfect... so let this perfect setting be affected by no government." he said, twisting her words, "Perhaps it's just the mindset of the Prestige. The men and women that I served with, including those on board of the Prestige are good people, I'd count you among them." he said, "The Queen is good, as is England. God save the Queen and all that. I never said that they were bad, you assume the worst out of others. I merely said that their reach in this setting should only stretch from the good people, English people, willing to fly here. Nothing more. And your right. I'm going to bed."

Donnan glared at Keegan when he came up. One of these times someone was going to shoot him for acting like that. He shook his head and looked back at Rose, something was definately familier about her, but if she was who he thought she was she would have to have been in the navy a long time. He nodded to himself, decideding to give SParky a chance to deal with those two before things got out of hand, and take care of waht he needed to with the Lieutenant. "Ma'am? COuld I talk to you privately for a minute?" He asked before walking down the deck out of earshot.
Keegan held back the desire to laugh at her remarks. "Well, I said I apologized. And you have seen people killed by scum you think are like me. I don't kill. That's something that I won't do. So you are the one who is being prejudiced. And I find my face quite sightly." He smirked at her, feeling his chin, which hadn't been shaved recently. Maybe he should clean up or something.... Wait, no. That was stupid. He lived on dressing down and keeping himself poorly groomed. He liked it.

((You think he hasn't been shot for being an a**? I think that'd be a good explanation for his dislike of guns.))
To this, Rose had nothing to say. She did, in fact, expect the worst from people. And in reality, there was nothing to say that would make any headway. She let out a long, tired sigh. 'I'm arguing with a drunk man.' "Very well. I shall walk you to your quarters so you do not hurt yourself." She nodded politely to Sparky, Donnan, and even Keegen, though it was a much shorter one. "I bid you all a good day." Rose looked at Will. "Shall we?"
Will nodded, "Thank you." he gave her a nod, Starting to stumble to his room, "In the end, understand that people are people and government are not people. You are a person, not a government... remember that you are an individual. Thank you for the walk... good night." he offered a smile as he entered his quarters from the relatively short walk.

Just after she walked Will to his room, barely able to think of what he had said, she heard Donnan's request. It surprised her a bit. "Yes, of course. Good night Mr. Donahue." And she followed Donnan. "What is it?"

Donnan looked at her seriously, not with hate or anything, but more of a let's-get-this-overwith look. "Alright, can we skip pleasantries? You know who I am, I recognise you from my early years. Your duty bound to try and take me into cusdody for leaving the ship I was on, and I can't let you take me." He said wanting to get that right out in the open from the start, he really wanted to avoid violence with this, because it could hurt the rest of teh crew.
Rose smiled lightly at him. "You were always forward, wern't you Donnan? And in fact I was going to take you in, but there never seemed a proper time. And besides, I am not due to leave for another day." She cocked her head slightly. "Out of slight curiosity, why is it that you can't take let me you in?" She smirked teasingly. It had been a long time since she last saw Donnan. The years had changed him.

Donnan felt a smile tugging at the cornners of his mouth, she was right, he'd been very forward, even back then. "Oh no, I don't doubt your abilities. I did once, but not for a long time. I think you could, but I would have to resist as best I could. I promised Sparky there that'd I'd always be around, we kind of adopted each other as siblings. And I wouldn't be much of a big brother if I let myself get taken away." He was more realistic about his skills then he used to be, he knew that if she really wanted to she could just take him, no matter waht he did or said about it, he just hoped that she wouldn't.
Rose eyed him, but not nearly as shrewdly as she had done everyone else. "Sparky...Miss Gates?" She grew serious. "Donnan, I cannot go against my duty. You..." her face seemed to slacken with some sort of sorrow. "...you deserted us. That is something the military does not stand for." Her brows furrowed. This was why she didn't have close relationships. They got in the way of her logic, her duty. She looked at Donnan, her brows still scrunched up in frustration. "What would you have me do, Donnan?? Forget you were here?"

Donnan sighed and nodded. "I know, I just wasn't cut out for the millitary." He said laughing slightly. "You could prbbly tell when I first showed up. No Ma'am, I would be disapointed in you if you did anything but your duty. I'm jsut telling you that I will put up a fight. And I'm not as...how to put this...woefuly inept as I used to be. But you'll probbly still beat me." He said with a slight smile, it was true, he'd had muscle and talent when he first showed up, but that only went so far. "I never ment to get attached..."
"Of course I would beat you. Things have not changed that much. Though I'm sure you would give me a bruise or too." Rose joked. Then she got serious again. "Attached to whom, Donnan? The girl?"
