ever since Ashley was a child she new what she must do once she reached 18, marry a princess that would rule over the two kingdoms, joining the humans to what ever race she were to marry.

Bio: I am the princess of the Vampyric race and to secure peace with the other nations all the princes and princess's of the four main races are marrying each other once they come of age. Luckily, We were all born around the same time and now that the human princess had come of age we are all set to meet each other shortly. I am set to marry Prince Wolfbane, the prince of werewolves obviously. I don't want to marry him but I'll do anything to protect my kingdom. I just hope that everything will be . . . relatively fine.

i walked down to the living room, my dress swaying elegantly as i walked. "Hello mother" i said smiling at my mother who was sitting on the couch drinking some coffee. Drank coffee every morning, she said it helped her wake up in the morning. i wasn't worried that she drank coffee, at least she doesn't smoke. "There will be a meeting in a couple of days so you can meet your new husband, by the way its Adrian" my mother said as i was in the door way. my jaw dropped as i walked quietly to my room. i knew that if i argued it wouldn't help me in any way. when i was younger my mother had made us hang out once and it turned out horrible...

~FLASHBACK~~

"This is boring" Adrian said standing near a water fountain. i started walking on the edge of it balancing as i walked along the rim. "Then do something" i said as i walked closer to were he was. "Your right!" He said smiling and he walked up to me and pushed me in. i quickly got out of the water and started crying. i could see it made him feel guilty a little bit. "Sorry babe but you were asking for it" he said leaning over me. i quickly stopped fake crying and punched him in the face just as our parents came out.

That day was fun, i gave him a black eye but i got into so much trouble when they left. i smiled to myself remembering that as i laid on my bed. he would always come over, i don't know why i never figured it out, i always thought that my mom had a thing for his dad. i rolled over thinking about how my life would be with him. i shuddered knowing it wouldn't be good.

I woke up in my room and looked around nothing looked different. You'd never know that this day was going to be the worse day of my life. I sighed and decided to get up instead of crawling back under the covers and hiding the sunlight. My hearing finally kicked in and I covered my ears when I heard the annoying buzzing of my alarm clock. I hit the snooze button and laid back on my bed. I put my head on my pillow and thought to myself, Maybe ten more minutes. Suddenly, my alarm was buzzing right next to my ear. My eyes snapped open in shock and I saw it had been more than ten minutes. I was due for the meeting with Wolfbane and his parents in four minutes. I screamed the first thing that came to mind. "s**t!!!!!" I ignored the fact that I woke up on the ground and left everything there and using the extremly helpful vampyric speed I got dressed, ate on apricot jam on French bread and whirled out the door in thirty seconds flat. I was tempted to ran there but then my hair and clothes would get messed up. I whistled and a limo showed up a ferw seconds later. I hopped in and yelled, "Werewolf castle." at the driver then sat back and tried to will my stomach to untangle itself. We got there right as the clock struck noon. I had forgotten to wear sunscreen. I mentally cursed at myself. I sighed. Oh well. Too late to do anything about it. I'd have a wicked case of sunburn for the next few days but at least I wouldn't burst into flames or anything . . . unless I stayed in the sun for too long. Then I would burst into flames. s**t. Why did I forget my sunscreen!? They'd probably take me on walks through their garden or something. I didn't want to die! It would get me out of the marriage though . . . NO! I wouldn't think like that! I sighed again. "Let's get this over with." I muttered. The driver opened the door and instead of running into the house like most vampyres without sunscreen at sunhigh would do, I forced the feeling of panic and insanity down and walked slowly and princess-like to the front door and rang the door bell. I waited for a little while and I could feel the fear and panic rising up inside me like a bunch of butterflies getting ready to make me explode. The sun was making my skin tingle and I looked at my arms, which were totally exposed, and saw they were a honey color. My skin looked alien to me when it was anythign but milk white. It didn't scare me though. It would take another few hours in the sun before I roasted to a crisp. Or at least, that's what I kept telling myself. Finally the door opened and I saw an older woman in her early thirties, I'm guessing. I smiled though it felt weird to me I shook hands with her. Vampyres normally used the old Amazonian way of greeting each other. We either gripped each other's fore-arms or we bowed to each other with our right fist over our hearts. I managed to not wipe my hand on my dress to try and get the werewolf smell off. I knew it wouldn't work and it would be rude. The woman smiled at me. "Right this way, Miss Cleona. Wolfbane is waiting for you in the dining room." I raisied my eyebrow. Wolfbane? What kind of a name is that? I wondered. I walked into the room and saw that a guy look up at me. Okay, I'm speaking from a biased opinion, but Nyx be damned he was hot for a werewolf. Only bad thing about him was . . . he smelled like wet dog. He looked up and his nose was wrinkled up against how I must have smelled to him. I smiled at him and tried to ignore the smell. "Hello. I assume you know who I am but to be polite. My name is Princess Nyx Cleona. It's a pleasure to meet you." I said and bowed to him with my fist over my heart. I stood up straight and saw he was trying not to be rude. He got up and put a book he'd been reading on he couch. He walked over to me then dropped to one knee. He took my hand and kissed the top of it. Wow. Didn't see that one coming. He looked up at me, still holding my hand, and said, "The pleasure is mine Miss Nyx. I am Prince Byron Wolfbane. Call me whatever you like." He got up and stared at me. The woman came up from behind us. She drapped a hand on my shoulder and um, Byron's shoulder. "Well, now that you teo know each other. Why don't you to go and do something. I'll leave you two alone now. See you later sweetie." she said and kissed Byron on the cheek. I heard him groan, "Mother!" Huh. So, she was his mother. Looked too young for it. She left all smiles while Byron muttered angrily to himself and I stood there looking like eyecandy. I sighed. "Um, I don't mean to be a pain, but I can't go outside. I forgot my sunscreen." He looked at me and nodded. He didn't seem to care to me. "So, um, yeah." I said since I couldn't think of anything else to say. I felt really stupid. I mean I couldn't tell him that he smell gross. I couldn't sit unless he offered me a seat so I was stuck standing. I didn't even know what to talk about with a werewolf. Dammit. I should've studied or something. He looked like he really wanted to say something but was thinking better of it. I sighed. "Say it." I said. He still looked like he didn't want to but decided to anyway. "You realise you smell like rotting blood right?" I laughed. I couldn't help it. "You know that you smell like a wet, stinky dog right?" I said and he smiled. "Now that we both know how much we stink to the other, wanna go do something. Inside." he added the last remembering what I'd said. I smiled at him. "Okay." Well, hell. Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all.

'maybe three years has changed him' i thought as i sat beside my mother in the limo. i smiled and thought about what it may be like married to a demon. "Don't worry everything will be alright" my mother said grabbing my hand for comfort. i wasn't worried at all, i was sort of curious to see what he was like now. i had a little sister which was only one year younger than me, if i died somehow than she would have to take my place, but i wasn't about to go and kill myself.' i thought looking down. there was so much that i wanted to do but now that i'm married i wouldn't be able to do it. i shifted in my seat, my feet lightly tapping the suitcase at my feet. i was going to have to move in with him as my mother would say 'it would be good for you two to get used to each other before getting married' i sighed, looking out the window watching the scenery pass by. first i saw rich forests then it turned to open plains, then farmlands, it then got darker and there were mountains starting to be seen. soon it turned into a very dark and wicked forest. once we got deep enough into the dark forest the demon palace could be seen. it was dark and dreary. the car stopped and a very fierce looking servant came out and opened the door open for me and my mother. i thanked him and hurried inside, i had an bad feeling about being outside the palace. "Welcome!" Adrian's father said hugging me tightly then turning to my mother and hugging her. i smiled and saw Adrian standing there awkwardly. "Well I'll let you two get acquainted again" His father said then took my mother somewhere in another room. Adrian smiled and walked over to me. "If you want this to work" he said whispering in my ear "Than you better do what i say now come on I'll show you our room" he started walking upstairs, i was shocked at what he said. i glared at him but followed behind him. 'this isn't going to be good' i though sighing quietly.

We'd ended up going outside anyways but I hadn't really minded since it'd gotten cloudy. We'd walked through their garden (I knew we would) and run into his brother. He was a jackass. I found that out about three seconds after I met him and he tried to touch my a**. I'd smacked him good for it too. I was almost glad he did it since it'd been a while since I'd given anyone a good smack for anything. Now we were sitting in the library since my skin had started to turn a nasty redish brown color. I had sunscreen on now but since it now hurt to move I was sitting in a chair with a book in my lap about . . . I actually have no idea what it's about. I looked down at the book cover. A History of Cooking. I almost laughed. I'd grabbed the first book I'd seen and then sat down. I didn't want to get back up but unless I wanted to sit here reading about, I flipped open the book, how cupcakes were first made I'd have to get a new book. I sighed and got up and almost screamed. Have you ever had really bad sunburns? Yeah. If you have try moving when it feels like your skin's ripping off your body. I managed to walk towards the book case and put the book back without making a sound. Then I realised the good books were on the other side of the library. I groaned. I looked at saw that Byron was still reading his book but looked bored. I was about to ask if we could do something else when his mother walked in with my mother. I stared wide eyed at them. I saw Mom shoot me a look that meant she'd be bitching at me later for forgetting my sunscreen but I ignored her and looked at Byron's mom. She looked happy. Oh god. I knew where this conversation would be going. "Honey can I talk to you in the hallway?" ask my mom. I groaned again. She was doing that on purpose I knew it! "Mother..." I started but Byron cut me off. "Mrs. Cleona. I'm sure you noticed but your daughter can't move without pain. Right Nyx?" I was surprised he used my first name or that he stood up for me so I just stood there blinking at him like an idiot. He smiled and I felt my face turn red. Damn men! My mother didn't seem to believe him for some stupid reason. "Then why is she standing if it hurts her to move so much?" Hello? I was standing here red and she didn't believe him. Stupid mothers... "Because I wanted a new book." I said and glared at her. Luckily before a fight broke out Byrion's mom cut in. "Well, we can discuss this later. First, I believe we had an announcement to make?" she said giving my mom a look that told her 'shut up and be a good example'. Mokm sigehd then said what I'd known was going to happen. "Nyx, Byron. You two are now going to be married." Stupidily I said the only thing that came to mind. "Damn."

he showed me our new room, my stuff was already in the closet. "Be a good wife and get me a drink" Adrian said pointing towards the mini fridge in his room. "get it yourself" i said standing near the bed were Adrian was laying. "But your already up" He said with a smirk. i smiled sweetly then pushed him off the bed then quickly laying down on it. he stood up and glared at me "What was that for?" he asked angered. "Now your the one that's up" i said with a smile. he growled at me then got himself a drink and laid next to me turning on the television. i watched it for a while then i got pushed off the bed. "What was that for?" i asked standing up. "You were taking to much room" Adrian said with a smirk. i rolled my eyes and went to the kitchen. i came back and smiled sweetly at adrian before rushing into the bathroom hiding the huge bottle of syrup.

After I said that my mom glared at me and glared right back at her. I ignored them all and walked out. I didn't get very far since every step was killing me slowly. I turned around the corner then slid down the wall until my butt hit the floor. I was suddenly very glad that my back wasn't too burned. Thank you clothing! I still groaned though. I blinked back the tears that the pain had brung. I could hear mom rushing after me ready to yell my ears off. I did my favorite vamp trick and made myself blend into the wall and the air so no one could see me. She ran right past me yelling already. As soon as she was gone I took it off. It used up too much energy to keep it up for people who might or might now pass by. I closed my eyes and swore that I'd only rest for a few minutes. Then next thing I knew I was waking up in a down bed with some creepy green lotion crao spread on my sunburned skin. I tried to get up but a girl at the side of the ebd pushed me back down. I winced but she either didn't notice or didn't care. I was betting on the later. "Stay down. Your sunburn will get better faster if you just lie here nicely. Master Wolfbane said he would come back and check on you later. I don't see why he should care about some wimpy vampyre girl." she said and something about her just pushed the wrong buttons for me. "Look Squirrel-for-breath, I'm not some random vampyre. I'm the vampyre. You know? The vampyre princess. I'll be your queen soon and judging by the way your talking, you're gonna get an a** whipping when I'm in charge." I said sitting up. I ignored any pain and smacked her. I was happy to see her fall off her chair and when she turned her face to glare at me there was a big red angry welt on the side of her face. I think I also spilt her lip. Yay for me! She left looking like she'd just been struck down by her god. It made me feel a little bad for her but I wouldn't tell her that. I layed back down and winced again. I closed my eyes and decided to try and get some more rest. Before I drifted off to sleep, I heard the door open and somone bitching. "Shh. I'll take care of it later." said a deep voice. Suddenly I wanted to know who the voice belonged to but then I fell asleep.

i walked out smiling. "What are you smiling at?" Adrian asked annoyed. "I was just smiling cause my face feels so smooth!" i said rubbing my cheek and sitting down on the bed. "What ever I'm going to take a shower" he said getting up and heading to the bathroom. "good" i whispered to myself smiling. "What was that?" he asked in the doorway of the bathroom. "I said good because you stink!" i said smiling even more. he growled at me then went into the bathroom. five minutes later he walked out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel on and his hair was sticking up everywhere. "You wouldn't happened to know who switched me shampoo with syrup do you?" he asked looking at me his eyes were practically red. i burst out laughing, i even fell off the bed i was laughing so hard! "You will pay!" Adrian said grabbing a new shampoo bottle and walking back into the bathroom. i wiped the tears off of my cheeks and sat back on the bed slightly giggling to myself.

I woke up and saw Byron reading in a chair. He looked up from his book and smiled. "Feeling better?" he asked and I nodded. I almost felt bad for not wanting to marry yet but not quite. I started to say . . . anything when the door opened. What's up with the stupid doors always opening when I'm about to talk? I wondered. In walked the servant who'd bitched at me before. When she saw I was awake a look of fear passed over her features and it lookde like she had to force herself to stay in the room. "Come in Liza." Byron said and she instantly looked like a puppy. She smiled and bounced over to him adn seemed to have forgotten all about me. "Yes Master?" she chimed. "Say you're sorry to Ms. Cleona." he said like he was talking to a child. She instantly deflated. "But...!" she started but he held up a hand and she shut up. "Say it." She bite her lip and turned to me. She bowed to me until her short little bob cut was brushing the ground. "I'm sorry Ms. Cleona." she said. I was about to say something when Byron 'accidentally' kicked her. "I mean Princess Cleona." She grunted. Byron smiled. "Good. Now, Nyx, say you're sorry for yelling at her." I felt my eyes widen. "What? I . . ." I sighed. "I'm sorry for yelling at you." I said. As soon as Byron turned away I muttered, "Servant b***h." She walked out and left me alone with Byron. I was half glad and half afraid. Glad because, werewolf or not, he was hot. Afraid because that werewolves were the only things that could kill us. He could easily kill me if I did something he didn't like and he'd have a reason for it too. If your partner killed you then could use any excuse they wanted and it wouldn't matter. It could be, "They killed a fly" or "They were cheating on me" and everyone else would just say okay and move on with their lives. I stopped thinking abotu that when I oticed that Byron'd been talking to me. "Um, sorry I didn't hear that last part." I said blushing with embarrassment. He chuckled. "I was just saying your mom thought that you should move in and brought your things over while you were sleeping. I was asking where you want to sleep." he said and stared at me. It took a second for it to sink in then I was on my feet and opening the door yelling that I was going to kill her when I got my hands on her. Byron dragged me back into the room and actually sat on me to keep me from getting back up. Stupid werewolves. "Let me at her! I'll kill her! Couldn't she let me decide anything!? I hate her! Bicth! b***h! I'll kill her! ******** b***h!" I screamed. He just sat on me calmly until I ran out of breath and lay there gasping. "You done?" he asked. I glared at him but nodded as best I could with my head buried in the bedsheets. Then I noticed my sunburn was gone. "Hey. Where'd my sunburn go? It sholdn't be gone for a few more days." I said and lifted my arm in front of my face and stared at it. It was then that Byron chose to get off me. "The green stuff we put on you was aloe rub. It helped it get better faster." he said then opened the door. "Want to go get lunch? It raining now." I nodded and got up. Lunch actually did sound great. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Anywhere that's open at two am." I smiled. "Corner store?" He smiled back at me. "Sure."

while Adrian was in the shower i called one of my gay friends and talked to him till Adrian came out of the shower, his hair wasn't sticking up anymore. i hung up and smiled innocently at Adrian "What did you do this time?" He asked quickly getting dressed. he turned to me and i shrugged my shoulders. suddenly his cell phone went off. "Hello?" he answered "Yes" "Wait what?" "What!?!?!" He yelled then closed his phone looking at me like he was about to kill me. "What the hell?!?" he yelled. "I can't believe you made people think i was gay!" he yelled but soon calmed down. "Just you wait" He said and left. i quickly got up and locked the door smiling. I made my friend to call Adrian saying that he heard about Adrian in his favorite gay bar and wanted to see if the rumors were true. i got under the covers of the bed and quietly fell asleep.

We came back from the corner store soaked carrying three bags each. I was laughing my a** off. "I can't believe you did that!" I said between laughing fits. He laughed. "Hey, he threw the milk at me. Why couldn't I throw a cupcake at him?" he said. "Because it's a waste of cupcakes!" I yelled and then took one of my bag and threw it at him. "But that is funny." I said and ran away from him screaming while he chased me with a carton of milk. We'd bought tons of stuff that we didn't need but it had been fun to watch the clerk's face when he found out we weren't human. He'd gone berserk and thrown some milk at us. It had missed me but it hit Byron. He'd just smiled atnd thrown a bunch of cupcakes at him. He'd looked like he wanted to kill us so Byron threw a bunch of cash on the table and we booked it. It had started to rain harder by the time we got back so we were totally soaked through. I quicklly changed then layed down on the bed. Byron knocked a while later when I was watching some werid cop show. "Yeah." I called and started channel surfing. I stopped when I found some creppy horror movie playing on 120. He sat on the bed beside me and held out a cupcake. I looked at it. "You're not gonna smash that in my face are you?" I asked. He smiled and shook his head. I took it and took a bite. Thank god the myth that vampyres can't eat solid food isn't real. I loved cupcakes. We watched the movie and it turned out to be Underworld. I loved those movies. I started getting tired around the part where the girl and guy started making out. I looked at the clock and yawned. It was 5 am. Wow, sunrise at 7:42. Maybe I should go to bed, I thought. I decided to try and get to the end of the movie but about 30 minutes later I passed out.

i woke up and stretched. "Uh oh" i said when i saw that the door was open. i got out of bed and grabbed some of my clothes. i was almost by the bathroom door when i heard Adrian yell "Get back here" while running up to me. my eyes grew big and i ran into the bathroom. when i opened the door a bucket of mouth wash fell on me and there was syrup on the floor making me bang my head on the ground. i pretended to be unconscious to see what he did. "Paybacks a b***h isn't Ashley" Adrian said smiling. "Ashley?" he asked a little worried. "s**t" He said picking me up and placing me on the bed. "I held me breath when he checked to see if i was breathing. "Oh s**t" he said really worried. i didn't move a muscle but i knew i couldn't hold it long. "Crap!" He said and ran out of the room. i opened one eyes and saw he was gone, i quickly got up and locked the door, this time i shoved the heavy desk up to it so it was hard to get through this time, i quickly took a shower than changed into some clean clothes. i was getting bored and moved the desk and unlocked the door than decided to play some video games.

I woke up the next day in a nice room. I guessed it was mine now. There was even a cupcake and breakfast on a table beside the bed. I smiled. "Well, what do ya know? Werewolves are okay afterall." I said and started to eat the cupcake. A few minutes later someone knocked. "Yeah." Byron's mom came in. I put down my cupcake. "Good morning Nyx. How was your sleep?" she asked. I smiled at her. "It was fine." "That's good. Anyway, I came by to ask if you wanted to do some shopping with me?" she said. I looked outside and saw it was a sunny day. "Only if you have some sunscreen I can borrow." I said and she took some out from behind her back. I laughed. "Okay the sure." Might as well get on the good side of my mother-in-law.

"Your not dead!" Adrian said shocked walking into the room making me jump. "I'm also beating your scores!" I said smiling. "i highly doubt you can beat me" Adrian said laughing and sitting on the couch. "Can to!" I said chucking a controller at him. "Oh your so on!" Adrian said joining in. after an hour we were head to head. 'i have to beat him!' i thought than an idea popped into my head, when he was about to kill me i put my hand on his though really close to where the sun don't shine, he got all nervous and i took that chance to kill him and won the game. "I won ha!" i said jumping up with my hands in the air. "You cheated!" he whined crossing his arms after turning the games off. "Did not i was only resting my hand on your leg cause it hurt" i said thinking up a good excuse. "But doing that is like me doing this when your trying to concentrate" he said pushing me up against the wall raising me up making me put my legs around his waist, he had his head right beside my face. "See how hard it is to concentrate now?" he asked, his breath tickling my neck making me blush really badly. the door opened and someone said "oh my i'm so sorry" causing Adrian to back away and making me blush even more. it was both of our mothers. "I'm glad that you two are finally getting along but please wait until after the wedding!" My mother said with a slight blush. "Now you two must come to help make decisions about it!" Adrian's mother said making us follow her. Adrian and i walked in silence to the library were we had to spend the whole day planning the wedding. that night i was so tired, i quickly changed into my pajamas and got into bed, as soon as my head hit the pillow i instantly fell asleep.
