An RP of Street Racing Gangs.



The economy failed...people in positions of power were toppled...rich corporations took over the running of cities.
Shadow Corp rose to the top quickly, their biggest income is their races, televised worldwide and live on the internet. The natural order of things is messed up. The police are owned by the corporations, and the racers of sanctioned groups are above the law. The chain of command goes: Corporations, Sanctioned Race Groups, Police, Civilians, then Prospects*.

[*Prospects: Racers sanctioned by SC, ready to take their place among a sanctioned group by proving themselves in the races. Sanctioned race groups will put Prospects through their paces to see if they are worthy.]

Racing Gangs:

White Tigers - Rumored to have ties to the Yakuza, the White Tigers are backed by the Flash Arts corporation. Famed for their "Pounce" at the start of race, this jump often gives the White Tigers an early lead over their opponents. The Tigers have a leading group of five (although two of the five are the same person, unbeknownst to most people.) Icefang, Tristan Stone and the Three Fangs (Top three Tiger racers.) {Leader/Founder - "Icefang" (Played by Hellish Kitty Kukii-sam)}

Black Knights - Also known as Dreadnoughts. Unashamed, dirty, rough racers, and rumored to have connections to the Russian Mafia, they'll do whatever it takes to win and assert their spot as the number one race gang. {Leader/Founder - "The Black King"} (Unclaimed as yet)

Brotherhood - Back off hiatus after racing on the European Racing Circuit, they're said to have criminal elements involved with how they got established. The Brotherhood is an "old-school", all male, gang to the max. Believing females don't belong behind the wheel, the Brotherhood is, naturally, bitter rivals with the Vixens. {Leader/Founder - "Casanova"} (Unclaimed as yet)

Hornets - Backed by the big boss men of the sanctioned races and tournaments, Shadow Corp. The Hornets are often accused of having races fixed in their favour. Perhaps this is due to having the owners of all the permitted races backing them. [Leader/Founder - "Queen" - the only female leader before "Foxtrot" and the Vixens showed.} (Unclaimed as yet)

Vixens - All female racers best known for their 'intimidation' on the rode via flirting. Some will say they seduce their competition into distraction. Making it easy on them to win. Others define it as cheating. But all is fair in 'love' and war. Especially when there's no rules on the streets. They are rivals to the Brotherhood. {Leader/Founder - "Foxtrot"}

Longwei - Recent addition to the races, not much is known about them aside from their Triad roots or ties. This has helped them become champions of the Asian Racing Circuit. {Leader - "Kaminaru" Founder - Takai (Deceased.)}

Known corporations.

Shadow Corporation - Directors of the sanctioned races and tournaments. A shady group who took control of the internet and asserted themselves as the number one corporation in the world.

Flash Arts Corporation - Backers of the White Tigers, and developers of the computerised weapons system used by all sanctioned race cars that is controlled from an on-board computer in the dashboard. During sanctioned races and tournaments, the SC can switch these off at will, leading to rumors of corruption and rigging.

Lunar Bay - Not a corporation per se...it's a mechanic's garage, run by the Lunaire family, used to be affiliated with the hornets, until the current owner took over. By being the best mechanic in town, working freelance means the owner has immunity to SC, custom from all groups, despite having their own mechanics, and the regular citizens when necessary.

Appearance:- Icefang when on the blacktop wears a suit and helmet patterned to make him look like a tiger, the helmet has ears and fangs, the one-way visor looks like a tiger's open mouth. The helmet has a voice changer for added anonymity.

Personality:- As Tristan he's laidback when he wants, and all-business when he needs to be, as Leader of the White Tigers her has a lot of responsibility. As Icefang on the blacktop he commands a lot of respect from fans and racers alike. "Icefang"'s identity is a closely guarded secret, only the Three Fangs of the White Tigers, their contact in Flash Arts Corp. and the Shadow Corp. actually know the truth.

History:- According to White Tiger History, Tristan Stone is the Co-Founder with Icefang, Icefang handling the races and the gang's image, and Tristan handling everything else. And that's a story that seeps through the heirarchy of the Tigers. Their Heirarchy sits: Icefang, Tristan & the Three Fangs, the rest. To the lower rungs and outsiders anyway...the Three Fangs all know Tristan's identity as Icefang, a living legend.

History:- A runaway from home, at age 13, Elissana, who prefers to be called Elissa, often staid with her only friend Miranda to escape her abusive and drug addicted parents. Them being always high and such, her parents never even noticed she was gone. But it was thanks to Miranda and her now retired father, that Elissana was able to find the White Tigers. Sure this meant she got to spend lots of time with Tristan, an old friend of Miranda. And Elissa being the helpful friend she is, does her part now and then to try and tempt Tristan to go flirt with Miranda. After all, why not? It's the Crowder Race Track where Tristan first trained anyways.

History:- The twins came from another city run by the SC, when they sold it out, they brought the twins over for the races, as promising Prospects. Their race style instantly earned them a place in the Dreadnoughts, who wouldn't take no for an answer.

Best Known For?:- "Viper Coil" Both target the same car with a grappling hook, then overtake the car and cross each other, then hit N2O ripping off the rear axel, and sometimes doing worse damage.

Personality:- Dimitri is a rather eccentric fellow, most tend to avoid him due to his outer appearance, and honestly he could care less about this. It doesn't bother him or even come to mind that people avoid him, he simply doesn't care. However, if one were to get to know him they would realize he's actually very amusing. He tends to joke around a lot, his humor varying from crude, morbid and so on. Unfortunately, Dimitri is also rather oblivious when it comes to feelings, when put in a situation that involves a lot of emotion he often gets uncomfortable.

History:- Dimitri grew up with his father alone, his mother having abandoned them both after he was born. His father always struggled to pay the bills and put food on the table, resorting to drug dealings. The dealings continued for a short awhile, but soon Dimitri's father became ill, and unable to continue to support him and his son. Dimitri at the tender age of 12 took over his father's work, though as the economy became to deteriorate so did his dealings. Struggling to survive, Dimitri resorted to getting a job working for an unknown mafia. He became their errand boy at first, but as he grew older he was taught how to defend himself and become familiarized with various weaponry. His new job was "debt collector". At first he had no problem making the kills, threats and what not. But, as he was commanded to kill a young girl no older than three, he put his foot down. After he disobeyed orders, he was beaten to near death, and as a consequence for his actions they shot both the girl and his father in front of him. Dimitri ran away, hoping to escape the clutches of the mafia. He is now found racing, and unsure of where he is going in life. One may question, "Does he want revenge?" it's not as if the thought hasn't crossed his mind, one day maybe he truly will seek revenge, but now is not the time. He takes out all the rage that has built up within him over the years on the race track, showing no mercy during his races.

Best Known For?:- "Zombie Fumes" - An invisible though noxious gas is released from Mortuus Vivens, assumed to be coming from the exhaust pipe. This gas expands exceedingly fast, going up to 300 feet in front and behind Mortuus Vivens, once it has infiltrated the opposing car it causes confusion and nausea.

History:- Logan was born under the name Robinson but after his father left and a few years passed his mother re-married landing him the awkward Spanish name he currently has. He soon grew to love the man he now fondly calls his father and that would be where he learned to work on car's. His new father owned a restoration company and worked on old car's day in day out. At the age of 16 he drove his first car and from then on out he never stopped driving. At the age of 19 he was recruited to do some small town racing which much to his mother's dismay his father fully endorsed. He raced professionally for a year or two before being asked to join the brotherhood which he happily agreed to, the only downfall was that he would have to leave his family to travel to Europe for there upcoming races.

You see, Miranda's dad had owned a race track and during the summers Miranda had worked there to help her dad. Pretty soon, she was assistant manager to the place. The race track, it's cars, its road...everything about was her home. It was always going to be her home. But more importantly than that, it was where she had gained her rep. and had been accepted by the Hornets. History:- Becca lived in Ireland until she was sixteen, She often spent time driving along the highways. Eventually her interest in cars got her father to start teaching her to drive, despite her being underaged he'd let her drive when she was fourteen. Always there to help or intervene when needed in the passenger seat.

At 17 Becca got maserati which was a collective present from her relatives after she moved to Shadow Corp's city. Challenged to a race by a white tiger she realized how she loved racing though she didn't win it was exciting. She started practicing and learned fast. Soon she become a prospect after her father died and she had to help get a living after his fortune was taken because life insurance didn't accept his applications. Racing for a living she did use her charm to help win races and wound up finding friendship in Natia and Cheryl. Finding the Vixens, named for their methods and opposing view on the Brotherhood.

Did we miss anything?:- I'm the leader, and founder of the Vixens. When I'm not out there racing, I keep my car parked in the Vixen's Garage at my bay and instead drive around in my 1948 Buick Streamliner or my motorcycle.

She had the same hair color as her adoption mother after all. The only difference was the eyes. They didn't match her parents. This brought on the assumption that maybe her mother remarried to her father. Natia had no clue. Her life was just assumptions. Normal, sure, until she saw her first underground drag race at age 12. Since then, she's been hanging around racers and even racing herself. To this day, Natia is still unaware that she's adopted.

Later years, they hit on her constantly because she was "that british chick." Now, she's Cherryvixen, and her "Cherryblossom" as she affectionately calls her ride. Blossom, for the only non-living thing of beauty she loves more than her reflection. And Cherry, as a reflection of herself and its virbrant red paintjob.

Full Name:- Jiro "Kaminaru" Matsuda

Personality:- Calm, funny and easygoing Jiro can be cheeky and comedic. He's also a flirt when he wants to be. When pushed or on the road he can be calculatingly aggressive.
Like(s):- Video games, sushi, and a Japanese pop called raminae.
Dislike(s):- Absolutely holds a grudge agains the Black Knights, unfair races, cheaters. Not exactly claustrophobic but being boxed in pissed him off like nothing else and with good reason. It's what part of what caused his brothers death.
A significant other?:- Does have a bit of a soft spot for Kallian but denies crushing on her. He also likes Elissiana a smidge.
History:- Jiro was born and raised in Japan with his brother Takai and his mom. Their father had died in a car wreck on his way home from work. At the tender age of fourteen, Jiro, Takai, and mother came to the Americas with his mother's new job offer. And first chance they got, Jiro and Takai had started attending the permitted races, every night they were going. Once word had hit them about the local racing tracks, owned by one Mr. Crowder, Jiro and Takai would start going there after school and use that as their practice 'ring'. Eventually, once the two had become of rightful age, meaning over 18, they too got into the racing business. The brothers had started off as Prospects, and worked their way up on the Circuits. Takai, had founded the newly added racing group, the Longwei, when he was 23, and felt like he had reached a high enough peak of fame on the Circuits. After Takai's rise to foundership, tragedy had already struck for the Longwei. A few months ago, Takai, age 28, was killed in the last tournament when his car suddenly stalled. He had wound up boxed in by some black knights from the front and sides, his car took some bashing before it suddenly was unresponsive. He died that night in the hospital, leaving Jiro, now 27, to become leader in place of his older brother.

A month after Takai's death Jiro wound up boxed in a race by some blacknights that didn't know what became of his brother who's death was kept private among family and Longwei members he trusted, a measure so Jiro wouldn't break down if it was announced on speaker. He dealt quite a bit of damage to two of the cars as well as his own in that race. The racers all learned he was bitter about his brother's accident but thought Takai was incapable of driving, alive.

Hydra Whip: Harpoons decorated to look like dragon heads shoot out behind the car, three to be exact. The chains may break off with a yank, damaging the body of the car, or stick either way leaves a souvenir for the target.

Hydra Bolt: Electricity can flow through the harpoons in an attempt to stall the other car or paralyze the driver enough to mess their steering at a turn. Electricity comes from a generator in car.

Did we miss anything?:- Longwei's leader; Working on allying with the White Tigers. Everyone knows better than to box him in in a race, it's the one thing that makes him go batshit crazy. Also he can't get over his brother's death, he'll talk as if he were there and has reoccuring dreams visited by a blue Chinese thunder dragon which Takai made his personal insignia.

Personality:- After two years, I speak wonderful english and I'm very flirty when I wanna be. But when I'm racing, I tend to speak in Japanese just because I can. I know it's not nice and it's rude, but there's something about staying with those who can understand me in both languages, that makes me feel comfortable before a race.

History:- Daughter to a military father, and a doctor whose her mother, Kallian lived in Tokyo till she was about sixteen. And because of that, did not she only have plenty of festivals and parties to go to, but plenty of underground drift racing too. Of course, Kallian never raced herself, but she got plenty of practice. Now, living state side for two years, Kallian is a racer for the Longwei's group. And she's loving every moment.

History:- Sitting around alot, hiding behind my TV, ignoring the world as it was privatised was my deal. I figured, what I don't think about, can't hurt me. Oh how very wrong I was. I lost my apartment, and had to move back in with my parents. However, that was short lived. Soon after moving back in, I realised I was just as good behind the wheel of an actual car as I was behind the controller for my video games. And so, with a large amount of my inheritance given to me early, I went shopping. Seventeen car lots I went looking through... Seventeen! And then I found her. Eleanor. My one, my only... The pride and joy of my heart. Sitting, in amongst the rubble of a collapsed fast food chain store, and beaten up lemons. I bought her cheap, the owner hated her guts and treated her badly. Then I got to work, changing and upgrading the bigger things first: some Goodyear Eagle GT tyres, a 6.0 V12 engine, a new body kit and custom paint job; then moved on to the smaller things. And, as I slowly nursed her back to health, Eleanor gave me more and more. Then I got my shot.
