~**Vixze**~
[Yesh, I noticed that too Suki. I can move myself out into the suburbs or something....have my second job out there. Ill figure something out.]
Vixze watched Vitus's eyes wash over her. It made her feel extremely uncomfortable...like he was inspecting her. She heard his question about why she had taken up his offer and she shrugged her shoulders. "I am very aware that you know my secret Vitus." she paused coming further into the room. This man made her uncomfortable. Somehow this man knew more about her than anyone else. But how? "How did you know about me being partially demon?"
The room was extremely elegant and gave off a feeling of a old fashioned home from the decor. The furniture seemed very comfortable and the entire room gave her a feeling of welcome and warmth. The man in front of her on the other hand gave her a strange and uncomfortable feeling. He seemed like he knew her deepest darkest secrets. Something that was very unnerving for Vixze. The look in his eyes made her feel like he knew something that she did not know and that he could use that information against her. She had no intention of letting him get to know her any better than he already knew her. As she awaited his answer she jumped from her phone vibrating in her work pants. Pulling the device out she stared down at the brightly lit up screen. It had been her alarm reminding her that she had school in about an hour out in the suburbs.
"I apologize but I will have to cut this meeting short."
she said bluntly before he could even answer her questions. She then pressed the end button on her phone to end the alarm and placed the device back in her pocket. Cell phones had become a necessity in the human world and not to have one was abnormal. Since Vixze did anything possible to not attract attention to herself she forced herself to purchase the thing. Half of the time it did not work but it was great as an alarm and a way to contact people when she needed to get a hold of them. Staring back at the man she was almost relieved that she had an excuse to leave so suddenly. At the same time she was also not wanting to leave. She wanted answers. Now.
Vixze! You have to go. Now!
The voice in her mind urged her to leave immediately. It was not her own and she suddenly felt alarmed and worried.
"Im so sorry. I will meet with you again to talk." That was when Vixze turned to the door and quickly walked out into the hall. Near the front door she noticed her hanging sweater and grabbed it quickly before leaving the building.
For some strange reason the voice in her mind had been a male voice. A familiar voice. It was almost as if someone had been watching over her. Now she was on her way to school extremely creeped out by the meeting with Vitus. Forty minutes later Vixze arrived at her school called Wright College and took ten minutes finding a parking space. Leaving her car behind her she walked inside the building and into her social science class on the second floor. She had a seat in the back of the classroom and she received the usual strange looks for her attire. After all she had been wearing dressy black work pants and a nicer shirt for work after her class let out. The next hour and a half went by quickly with taking notes, a video, and some reading. It was not a bad class just a lot of homework and memorizing.
As soon as the teacher allowed the class to end Vixze exited the room, returned to her car, and started to drive to her second job. She would work until ten tonight and then return home in the city. Looking down at her gas she noticed that she would have to get gas the next day. She was running lower than she had anticipated. Pulling into the parking lot Vixze sighed before exiting the car. Her knees and feet were going to kill her by tonight. It would be a busy night since it was a Friday night. Thankfully she would not have to work here over the weekend when the restaurant was at it's busiest. Once inside she clocked in and got down to work.
Sure enough, six hours later, Vixze left her job exhausted and in pain as she predicted. She also had a newspaper in her hand with various highlighted circles. The girl had been thinking about moving for months and had grown tired of all the wasted time and gas on her commute to work and school. She had found ads for available, and affordable, apartments in the suburbs. The only comfort was that she could go home and sleep and that she would make a decent amount of money on her paycheck. Once home Vixze walked inside her apartment building and slowly ascended up the long stair case to her apartment. Inside she removed her sweater and her dressy shirt, that was now stained from food, and headed to the bathroom. Outside the bathroom door she removed her shoes and socks then let her hair down. Her only intention was to take a hot shower and then head to bed for a long deep sleep.
The shower had done her wonders but now she was even more sleepy than before. Walking into her bedroom she placed her cell phone out on her near by corner table and climbed into bed. Moments later her eyes were closed and the covers were over her body. She was dead to the world.
And They Loved Like No Other Before Them.....
