Not to long ago, in the time of King Arthur and Queen Guinivere, a book was made. This was the Book of Beasts. In it, it contained the souls and spirits of all the different beasts that plauged the land. Dragon soldiers, venomous flesh-eating butterflies (much fiercer than they sound), Meduca and her sisters (Minerva and Moria), and many more. This book, so powerful, was hidden away. Then the King and queen died, and the land went into turmoil.A few years later, a man showed up, calling himself The Arcadian. He'd found the book of beasts, and with it, took over the kingdom. Little did he know, the King's daughter, hidden away after the death of her parents, was gathering a group to take back her thrown. This is Princess Avalyon. Her group of herself, three knights, and Merlin, the worlock, eventually overthrew the Arcadian, and The book was destroied. Merlin lost his powers, and his immortality with it. He passed away a few years later. Avaloyn married one of her knights, and they lived in peace for the rest of their lives.

Now
A century later, history is repeating itself. The book has been recreated. The king and queen have been killed. A New Arcadian has taken over the kingdom. But this time, instead of just a princess, there is a prince who was hidden away as well. They are twins, and they want their kingdom back. They are gathering fighters now. Most magic has been lost, but they hope to discover a worlock somewhere hidden in the woods. Will they take back their kigdom? Or will it remain in the hands of the Arcadian?

Creatures of the Book

Gorgons- Meduca, Minerva, and Moria. These three women are vicious fighters. When angery, their hair turns to snakes, and their one look in their eyes will turn a person to stone. Their gaze is perfectly harmless when they are not angery. They do not talk.

Venomus Butterflies- These innocent looking creatures are anything but. There bite has enough venom to kill a horse, and they are also flesh eating. Let one latch onto you, and you will die slowly and painfully as it eats your flesh. There is no cure.

Dragon Knight- This grotsque creture cannot be killed except by magic. Stab it as much as you want, it will not die. IT is a master sowrd fighter, and relentless. It dosn't know the meaning of mercy.

Dark Pegasus- Flying winged horse with black lethery bat-like wings and glowing red eyes. Has pointed teeth and loves the tast of human flesh.

Cerberus-visious three headed dog. Can be calmed with music, but nothing else.

My sad story goes like this: Born into a family of Warlocks Inti began rigorous training at a young age to hone his skills to a higher level. though this was for his magical skills. he spent the remaining time training his body to allow him to hold up in physical combat. after the fall of the Empire a second time he fled along with others in search for safety. He has recently joined up with the Royalty that was gathering a force to try and stop the Arcadian and his forces.

My sad story goes like this: A prodigy from the of his birth, Alucard was to be Merlin's pupil until the day of his unexpected death. Upon recieving the information he was sent off to an elder that was said to be on the same level as Merlin himself. Unfortunately, this was a lie and he was actually a pawn for the new upcoming Arcadian. Twisting his mind from day one, he brought Alucard up in darkness, tormenting his soul, but one day Alucard broke free. How he did this to this day is still a mystery, but something deffinately seems odd about this individual.

My sad story goes like this: Spending much of his life in exile and solitude Yukiko spent many years researching everything he could about the book of Beasts. After many years he found the secrets to recreating the book. though during this he left his safety of solitude and ventured out to find allies that he could use in his conquest. after gathering a fair amount he finished his spell, recreating the Book of Beasts. He has since harnessed its power for his own, and taken over the Kingdom that exiled him. his gaze then shifted, to the rest of the world. and he knew that his conquest had begun.

My sad story goes like this: Rethangar grew up in the northen parts of the scandinavian countries years ago. Though not a warrior, he did know how to wield a sword. Unless most he worshiped the Goddess Hel who ruled over the underworld. A land he knew that he would end up one day do to his lack of interest in battle. None the less, he raised a family and even had a son. Life was simple but happy. Til one day the men from the vatican came. They demanded that he swore his life to the church, and turn away from what they called a blasphemous religion. Acourse he and his family refused and all were slaughtered merciesly. With rage still in his heart and a thirst for revenge, Hel and Odin both allowed him to return to the earth once more, blessed with the powers of the Goddess herself. Now what one would called a living corpse, he was also a cryomancer. One who could wield and manipulate the cold with deadly effects. During his attempt for revenge, he ran across the Arcadian, who he showed little interest too. Sadly that was not the case for him. Out of his motherland, his goddess powers were not as strong and seeing Rethangar's destructive force when he had him attacked, decided to use his magic and take control of him. Now he reluctantly serves as a guard and protector of the Arcadian. Following all of his orders without question.

Aren't I beautiful/handsome? Stands over 7 feet tall, he wears no armor, and is usually dressed in nothing but ragged clothes. His hair is pure white and his eyes are blue, until he activates his powers then they become pure white.
I almost for got to tell you Rethengar's powers are not simply control over ice, but the cold himself. He can make his surroundings cold enough to give others who are not prepared frostbite. Acourse this is only in a very limited range around him. He can also use what some would call ice magic, ranging from spears of ice, to concentrated freezing blasts. He also can wield weapons made out of pure ice, and armor as well. Though the only true way of killing him is to lop of his head. Acourse has a weakness to high levels of fire, but lower leverls usually are no problem.

My sad story goes like this: At a young age Tobias was taken from his parents by a Witcher. This man took him to Kaer Morhen the witcher's stronghold. Once there he was put through terrible trails. Sorcerers experimented on his body, and turned him into a mutant. Having survived the mutation he was trained to hunt, and kill monsters. He learned sword combat, and some alchemy, as well as magic. Having been allowed out into the world to hunt a mere four years ago. He has arrived in a new land looking for work.

I almost for got to tell you As a witcher Tobias can create, and use potions to aid him in combat. But these potions have terrible side effects, and also poison him once drunk. But the benefits, and the effects last only briefly.

These are the six magical signs he can use in combat

Aard is a telekinetic thrust that can stun, repel, knock down, or disarm opponents. It also can serve to clear obstacles in the way.

Igni is a pyrokinetic burst that can repel and ignite opponents. By concentrating a seasoned witcher can form a fire ball. But this is time consuming, and not only drains his endurance, but leaves him open to attack. It can also be used to light fires.

Quen is a protective field that surrounds the witcher, and completely protects him form any harm. But is canceled if he should engage in combat. It is best used to drink a potion, or place oil on a blade.

Axii is a physic wave that is used to influence the minds of others. But it has other uses it can charm, or install fear and panic in someones mind. The effect would only last briefly, and only works on the weak minded. But it could turn even the most deadliest enemy into his ally.

Yrden is a magic trap that is cast on the ground, or floor. It produces various affects on the target who gets caught in the trap. These affects can include slowness of mind, nausea, muscle spasms, and the like. The sign can be used on a single creature, or multiple creatures. But this spell can have negative affects on the caster as well. If the witcher is not careful he can be caught in the same affects as his prey.

Heliotrope: A simple magic sign which shield charms, spells, sounds, and similar types of magic. But is useless against physical blows.

I've lived my life as a former monk turned adventurer/Pirate
My sad story goes like this: Losing his mother and father during a bandit raid when he was five, the young Hart was taken in by the monks of a nearby monestary. Showing more on an interest in the art of combat than anything else, the young man excelled in the training. Though his lack of discipline didn't allow him to master some of the more advance techniques. Soon a group of adventurers stayed within the monestary for a few days to rest and restock on supplies. Hart took an active interest in this group and looked up to their leader, who wasn't shy about sharing the many adventures they had. It was then Hart knew what he wanted to do with his life. When he turned 18, he respectfully requested to leave the monestary and presue his own life. Though hesitant at first, the monks gave them their blessing. Soon after he joined a group of adventurerswhere he learned how to wield a blade, other than the Wind and Fire wheels he was adapted too, as well as learning how to make bombs with the explosive powder. After spending 2 years with them, he finally decided to make his fortune by stealing one of the most valueable and most dangerous island in the land, the Book of the Beasts.

I fight with mainly my fist, though is skilled enough in many types of weapons. Usually I carry a pair of .jpg]Wind and Fire Wheels when needed. I also specially in making hand held bombs.
Aren't I beautiful/handsome? Not really. Hart even though is not ugly, isn't exactly good looking either. Standing at 6'1, and his body is a tough athletic look. His close are pretty adverage looking and his hair is a blazing red fasioned into a cornroll. Due too his reckless nature his body, most notibly his face, is full of scars.

Growing up in a monestary and learning their ways, Hart is a very capable hand to hand fighter who is also adept to using his Ki. With this ability he is capable of maniplulated his physical abilities to fit the situation when needed. Though due to lack of training, he can only do these things one at a time.
Mind of the Berserker: Hart is able to increase his physical strength by channeling his body with Ki
Mind of the Golem: This hardens his skin and increases his defense
Mind of Hermes: This increases his speed, allowing him to run at the speed of a gazelle.

Also using his Ki he is able to throw his Wind and Fire Wheels like projectiles and have them return to him like a boomerang.

Finally given a combonation of his monk training and what he learned on the road, he is a gifted alchemist capable of making medicine and bombs from a varitey of herbs and elements.

My sad story goes like this:As a child Kai was trained to be a fighter. His father was knight, as was his father, and his fathers father, and this fathers fathers fathers. You get the point. During his training as a knight, his mother trained him on the rare occasion to use magic, since she was a warlock. The magic is very basic, the only skill he learned was a form of magical fire, to sear his opponents with no real element, allowing it to be used against all forms of creatures. Down side, it does no were near the amount of havoc the Warlocks use, it can only be summoned on his hand, it cannot be thrown like a fire ball or summoned on an enemy. Now with Kai's parents dead, and the world in complete and utter confusion, Kai left his role as a knight and is now an adventurer. Kai hopes that he can find the right cause, to stop this utter insanity.

The Leaders of the Beast World

Ogrun-Right head of the Cyclops kings (They are kings of all ogre, orc, cyclops, kobold, and reptilian beasts). Quick to anger and far more inteligent than his brother. He is the true leader, and most of his minions will only take commands from him. He is also very territorial and has no since of compassion. Of the company Alucard travels with, he favors Tobias.

Ugrash-Left head of the Cyclops kings. Not that bright and usually refers to himself in the third person. Never uses pronouns and has a small vocabulary. Though he is one of the kings, technically, no one really listens to him. He has a very caring side, but in a battle situation... he takes over the body he and his brother share and goes into a berserker like rage. Of the company that Alcuard travels with, he favors Kasha.

Rhok-King of the centaur and all hooved creatures. He is a strict and blunt leader. Rhok, though contrary to his appearance, is a very inteligent and strategic leader. He dawns from a war loving clan of centaur, and thus is very adept in its practices. Rhok has few equals on the field of battle and loves to make that very apparent. He is a very honorable leader and hates weakness in any form, but he does have a small, and most of the time invisible, caring side to him. Of the company that Alucard travels with, he favors Kai.

Veeshajhra-Unkilrun (or as most call her, Esha)-leader of all flying beasts other then the dragon and wyern clans. Esha is a very caring and mother like figure, but also a deadly foe when angered. She is by far the most skilled arial combatant in all the the beast lands, which is why she ascended to be the leader of that division. She is usually calm and collected and scolds the other leaders for not being so. Of the company that Alucard travels with, she favors both Kasha and Alucard.

Whevuranias-Leader of the dragons and wyerns. Though he is refered to the leader of the dragons, he is the self-proclaimed, and also the widely revered, leader of the entire world of the beasts. Being ancient in years, he is slow to act and extremely stuborn to accept others opinions, though that doesn't stop him from being very wise and admiting... on occasion... that even he can be wrong. He is the son of the first dragon king whose name has been lost to time. Of the company Alucard travels with, he favors both Kai and Inti.

Yhey-hevirus-Leader of the misc beasts such as the gorgons and ones that would be refered to as demons. He is in form nothing more then a cloaked figure, and even when that is removed he seems nothing more then shadows that have formed a body. He is a powerful magical entity, and even though he is refered to as male, he has no true gender and is rather just an enigma. He is cruel and filled with hate for all things, including his own subjects. Yhey-hevirus refused to come to the meeting when Alucard arrived, but made himself known to the group soon after... Unlike his fellow leaders, he would much prefer to see the company fail at their attempts, though he does unwillingly aide them from mere fear of Whevuranias. Of the company that Alucard travels with, he favors the Alucard, but only because he is cursed by the vampire.

Kasha sat in the forest next to their little camp fire. Her pack, bow, swords and quiver lay beside her, in easy reach just in case something happened. Her brother had wandered off somewhere, and she was alone, plotting where to go next. There was a map in front of her, and she was marking the spots they'd already been, and the places she thought they should go next. There were so many. She was mostly marking forests. She figured if there were any magic workers left in this world, they'd do what Merlin had done and hide themselves away in the forest. She wanted as many of them on herside. Heck, she wanted as many people in general on there side as possible. Going up against the Arcadian and his monster minoins was going to be difficult. They needed every advantage they could get.

Alice scribbled a few more facts into her journal of what she had just learned about the behavior of the monarch butterfly. It was easier to keep all the facts into one journal then to flip through the pages in her mind. She scribbled a bit more, not really noticing anything around her although her guard was always up. Although she was never tense, 6 years of travel have taught her enough. The chest behind her stayed strapped and every few steps would bounce and hit her back but she wouldn't notice.

Kasha heard a noise nearby, and grabbed her bow. She made her way silently towards the sound. Growing up, she and her foster siblings had played hide and seek in the woods. IT had taught her to move silently. She came out behind a girl, writing in a book. Kasha fitted an arrow to the bow and raised it so that it was pointed at the girl's head. At this range, the arrow would easily piearce her skull. "Who are you and what is your business here?" Kasha called out in a clear strong voice.

Lucillia sat against the tree, inspecting her daggers one by one before slipping them into their places up her sleeve. She hasn't had a chance to use them yet, but she wanted to be ready. Not that anything would happen. She had already searched through most of the forest already and had found nothing. Wherever the royals where hiding, it certainly wasn't anywhere she had looked. She went through everything but there was no sign of them. She sighed and stood up. It was almost time for her to report back and she hated going back empty handed. She wanted to find something. Anything.
