Welcome to Gaia! ::

OOC: If Music started getting beat up, the rest of us can stick up for her; Plague can threaten to infect them with something lethal, and Kuno can threaten to beat them up if needed. Glacier... would probably just utterly defeat them in whatever game they were playing. sweatdrop Any other ideas on what should happen?

OOC: Not really... I generally just make things up as I go along. ^^
OOC: So, who wants to start? Hio, Glacier hasn't been in it much, do you perhaps want to begin the scene?

OOC: I agree. Glacier should start.
And do we have a physical description for her? I was thinking about fixing her into our little icon...
Hio
Fake Name: Glacier
Specialty: Chemistry
Age: 15
Appearance: Dark blue eyes, pale, long light blue hair (dyed) and pulled back into a braid.

OOC: Tell me when you add her to the icon so I can update the link on our profile page. By the way, I love the picture you drew of Sam!
OOC: As it's been a while since we posted, I put what we have so far of chapter 2 in my journal for reference. If you need to reference chapter 1, it's posted on FF. We still have no reviews. crying I shall advertise once we have chapter 2 up!!! Memory, mind if I use your pic of our characters in my Gaia sig as an advertisement (I'll credit you, of course)?

OOC: Sure you can use it! Actually, I'm rather pleased that you'd want to!
And I would've put up Ch. 2 but I haven't had the time, and you didn't like my formatting. sweatdrop
And thanks for quoting her description. I'll just make up something for her to wear, I guess, if nobody has any problem with that?
I'm sooo glad you liked your pic of Sam. My writing club liked it, too. ^^
OOC: I do love the picture of our OCs! (I even had it as my desktop background for a while.)

I didn't like your formatting? You mean not having spaces between the paragraphs?

I'm sure the clothes you draw for Glacier will be fine. You might want to draw her with lab goggles, too! xd

How much would it cost to get a picture of Sam's sister?

OOC: Well, you sent me a list of things, so it wasn't just that... sweatdrop
And I was planning on giving her goggles, actually. That's weird as hell!
Eh...until about now, the price for my usual art style was up in the air, but my Economy class says it's a bad thing to tell people that your price is negotiable, so I'm gonna say 2k for black and white or 2.5k for color.

Hio, whenever you're ready to start is just fine. I'll send Kunoichi a PM or something and tell her that we're picking up with the chapter and she can join in whenever she so chooses. :]
OOC: Oh, they were edits. I thought that we'd have a better story if everyone edited it, not just one person. That's why I want everyone to read and edit the version I posted in my journal (and that's why I liked looking at your version, so I could see the things you caught and I missed), so that the story is in its best form when we post it on FF.

I questing something right now, so after I get that I'll send you a PM about the drawing. 3nodding

I don't know if Hio saw that we decided she should start. I'll send her a PM about it.

OOC: I just don't take criticism well, especially over the internet, and especially when it's something that I corrected in the first place. Call it a "personality flaw." -shrug-

Yeah, I saw your quest for the Death Whisper in your signature... Best of luck with that, and maybe I'll donate since you're cool. I'm questing, too, though. And I can wait a while for your request... I'm working on setting up a shop. ^^

I know she doesn't know. I haven't seen her online all day... This is why I brought it up again.
OOC: Okay, when I first saw that I was supposed to start, my expression was this: eek except my jaw had dropped to the floor. Well... We'll see how this goes!

IC:
Glacier sighed as she pulled the over-sized T-shirt she used for gym class over her head. Idle chatter filled her ears as most of the female students at Wammy's tried to create a facade of friendliness. The only honest cheer she heard was from the group of newbies off by themselves. Dark blue eyes glanced over to them, taking in the way the violinist stayed quiet, merely smiling at the others. Plague was grinning, an excited light in her eyes while Kuno listened carefully. Their laughter was a great difference from what Glacier was used to.

The chemist walked out of the locker room, twisting her braid up on to the top of her head and pinning it there. The gym was already somewhat filled with the students, and her dark gaze was drawn to the small childlike boy in the corner. She knew he was older than he appeared, of course, but seeing the pale boy playing with the various toys surrounding him often deceived strangers. Near.

Off on the other side of the room, a blonde teenager glared at Near while the redhead beside him played a video game. Mello was angry at his 'rival' for something or other again, but Matt was there to keep him in line for the most part.

Glacier strode to the wall between the two, leaning against the matting. Chemical equations flowed through her head as she waited for class to start. Sometimes she wondered why she bothered to come to class anymore - it wasn't helping her any. She sighed again, selecting an equation to try after class. So began another boring day.

OOC: So... yeah! Tell me if I got the characters right. sweatdrop Hopefully that's a good enough start - sorry it took so long.

OOC: It sounds fine to me. ^^

Music stood on the fringes of the group, smiling shyly at the other children. Her scrawny knees trembled in the overlarge sweatpants she'd stolen out of her roommmate's drawer before class. They were so huge on her that she had to roll up the cuffs three times before she could see her feet. Suddenly self-conscious, she glanced down at the bunched up fabric around her ankles and thought of somewhere close to a million places in this house alone where she would rather be, completely alone but for the soft voice of the violin in her hands. She sighed. At least she was trying.

OOC: Hey guys. I'm so sorry I was gone for what seems like years. I've been so extremely busy with school and I've had to work a lot more because of the holidays quickly approaching. So, now is my first chance for a while that I actually get to sit down and finally contribute to this story again.

IC: Kuno had decided against dressing out for her gym class, which she apparently shared with her new friends. She'd gotten points deducted from her score, but she preferred to exercise in her outfit that she always wore and trained in. The twelve year old stood silently next to Plague, who was chatting with her like usual, and Music, who was staring shyly at her feet almost covered by the too-large pants. She wasn't really listening to what Plague was saying, because she'd been too busy staring at a redhead with stripes on.

He's pretty cute. I wonder what his name is? On that note, I wonder how old he is too. He doesn't look much older than me, but... At that moment, her thought was cut short because he suddenly looked at her with a slightly puzzled face. Kuno looked away quickly, embarrassed to be caught blatantly staring at him like that. A deep blush covered her cheeks and she crossed her arms, pretending that nothing had happened. At that moment, the gym teacher finally came out of his office and introduced himself to everyone that was new to Wammy's. He informed them that they would be playing dodgeball today, because of the range of ages in the students.
IC: Plague spoke excitedly to Kuno and Music. "...and then, sometimes, the immune system will go into shock and cannot produce pus and the smallpox will develop into flat hemorrhagic smallpox in which the skin doesn't blister but bleeding occurs beneath the skin and..."

...

Plague groaned at the mention of dodgeball. That game never ended well for her. The teacher divided up the students into two teams.

OOC: Should they be divided up, or not?
