[The Siren of Asianland]

My eyes were wide with shock when he let me off with just a toussle to my hair. I gave it no more thought though when I remembered my job. Making sure I was out of harm I stuffed the watch into my pocket and patted the hat onto my head and grabbed one of the smaller bags of loot before fleeing the scene, morphing back to Jay once I'd rounded a corner a good bit away from the uproar.

"Well that hit a bump or two, no scratches though." I said to myself as I pulled my cell out from between my breasts. A passing by male looked at me with a sly grin as though he were about to throw me a pass. "What you got a problem bub?" I asked with my perfected New York accent. "You try wearin a skirt this tight and find a place to put your phone. Douche." I said and stormed off before he could get a word in edge-wise.

I hit my speed-dialed number one contact and when there wasn't a voice when the line had picked up I rolled my eyes. "I got the stuff, I'll drop it off at that hotel in about ten minutes give or take. Traffic's backing up because the ruckus down at the bank." There was a short grunt and the silence continued. "You know a 'Hello you aren't hurt are you?' would be nice once in a while." I said and let out a low growl when the call died.

"Jack a** boss." I muttered and tried not to think on the reasons I should go straight and be a 'normal citizen'.

The whole crowd of people poured into a building, observing quietly Beatrice decided to go with her gut. Upon hearing the ringing of gun shot, her body stiffened. "It's my one night, I get to myself... And I still want to do this?" she muttered to herself angrily. She knew that if she didn't somehow try to help, her conscious would NEVER let her forget it. Beatrice's was a very guilty little voice. "Ahhhhhhhrrrgggh..."

"Let's do this thing then."

She opened her door. "Well thirty seconds... I can still back out..." The door opened. "Guess not."

She closed her eyes and found herself in a strange building. There were voices coming from below. It seems like the building was a warehouse of some sort, it was pretty big and open, and she was on top of a floating steel second story. There were stairs to her left. Beatrice slithered over to the stairs, as stealthily as she could. She peered down, man oh man it was a big party. Maybe she should leave the door open, just incase. Luckily for her she was armed. She held on to her sword's hilt. It was kinda reassuring. The girl stopped halfway down the stairs and she tensed and listened...

Burning people, killing, and stealing? Not in her hometown! She made it to the bottom of the stairs, it was to be seen if she was unnoticed.

"We have to do something, if they keep on fighting each other the onlookers are going to get hurt." Adrian said and started flipping through his notebook for something big to use and when he couldn't find anything like that in his notebook He decided to draw it. Adrian flipped over to a blank page and started drawing as fast as he could. He was done with the drawing in 3 minutes. "Time to do this thing." Adrian said as he animated the giant robot off the page and then climbed into it. "Villains, I suggest you stop what you're doing right now before I totally pwn your asses." Adrian said from inside the mech.

"Watch out for her sword tricks mate." Jace said a little annoyed that the shifter had gotten away with whatever it was she was trying to steal and even more annoyed when Raiden showed up in a mech, Jace had never seen his face but knew all about his power. "Ladies and Gentlemen I believe we have a pissbucket hero here." Jace said glaring at the mech.

Kira slowly got out of the car and stood behind Jace. She whispered in his ear,"
So. What kind of tricks do I need to pull? I tend to stay well hidden in the criminal world, so nobody knows what I'm capable of. Believe me, I can do things most people can only dream of." She decided to let Jace think that over. Even though he looked like he wanted to finish the shifter himself.

Raven took a step back. "That's what it's for?!" She cried out disbelieving. She shook her head at the weird powers people seemed to have up their sleeve these days. Raven ran to stand by Adrian's mech anyway. And she looked to where he was and said, "Don't step on me okay?"

"well since the shifter is gone, I'm paralyzed, and now heroes have started to show up I believe it's time we made an escape, if you pull that off I swear on this life I love so much that we will be equal partners in mayhem and destruction, that's about all I can promise right now." Jace whispered back and for once in his life he was being sincere, this girl was his only ticket away from the botched job and Andie. I guess I'll have to hone my powers a bit more. Jace thought.

"Don't worry I won't." Adrian said to Raven. He then sighted the Mech suit's cannons on the super villains. "I'll say this again, halt or get blasted your choice." Adrian said to the villains below.

Andie moved quickly. Her sword to her side. She hated that they were interrupted by a goody-goody. She snarled at the unwelcome company. "Well I see this has become a popular cite,"she backed up some readying her sword in case any funny business became of it. Her eyes glanced around her setting. She didn't know Adrian personally but she knew just that he wasn't the best person to fight just yet.

" Psh that's easy." With a few words Kira conjured a plume of black smoke that rendered their enemies blind. " Hurry up and let's go! "

"Thanks love, it seems whatever you just did let me move again, now lets cheese it." Jace said stopping time and then got in the GT and waited for the girl to get in. When she was in he drove off and unfroze time, they had made a clean getaway and Jace now had a new partner.

Reyals paused as the girl just turned around and moved over to jace, completely ignoring her. She was used to it, seeing as she often stayed in the shadows of things, but it was a tad rude to not even acknowledge someone talking to you.
Still, Reyals knew what the girl could do, she could smell the stink of burning flesh on the girl, no matter how much she had tried to cover it up. Too bad for her that the young girl found the corpse. She now had a rival that interested her. Of course, no one knew her status yet in the hero- villian ladder.
It suited the girl of course, but she was still a tad annoyed that she was ignored by nearly everyone who had barged in. Suddenly, in the midst of her thoughts a plume of black smoke errupted into the room and Reyals quickly surrounded herself with condensed water vapor, stopping the smoke from getting into her eyes and she slipped out of the building not at all perturbed by recent activities. If the heros and villians wanted to duke it out so be it, she had no real interest seeing as Jace and the fire girl seemed to have disappeared.

I looked both ways before I crossed the busy street in front of the Pacific Grand Hotel and sighed as I got the the elevator bank and clicked the up arrow button. Running a hand through my hair I ignored the stares that a group of men were giving me.

I swear you change into biker pants and a tank top and it's like your a street walker...well I suppose the vinyl boots and the fact that the pants were leather didn't help much; but hey I did look good. The ding of the metal boxes arrival made me shake my head slightly as I prepaired myself for a tongue lashing for taking longer than needed and hurried out of the elevator when we'd hit the thirteenth floor.

Yes, this hotel has a thirteenth floor. The man I work for, who is also the owner of the hotel, is Chinese and follows in the belief of the number four being bad luck. I just think he was playing on superstion because aside from the hard core Halloween goers that come into the city in October no one else will rent a room on this floor unless they're oblivious, desperate, or asking for a scaring compliments of the Bosses' hellians.

The lights were out on the whole floor as per usual and I rolled my eyes as the over head light of room 1309 was only lit up.

'Stupid wanna be Boogyman know it all jack as-' My thoughts were interupted as the door slowly creeked open just as I was about ot knock. Another eye roll.

"Cut the s**t or I throw the marked objects out the window!" I shouted and smirked in satisfaction when the floor lights came on as well as the suites. "Thank you." I said and skipped in through the door. "Luucy~! I'm ho-ome." I said as I rounded the corner into the lounge area.

(( Yes I know the hotel name is from Prom Night. ...worst "horror" movie ever by the way. Brittany Snow ruined herself by being in it. Also! Anyone who's really epic at RPing try and make a profile to be my Boss; I need a ring leader mastermind to give me trinket jobs. ...not you John. stare ))

Gita rolled her eyes at the commotion in front of the little building. 'Stupid heroes. Stupider villains. Why must they always disturb the peace?' She thought to herself, tsk tsking the whole group. She looked over Tilly, and she seemed to be thinking the same thing, seeing her scowl. But that didn't count. Sunset was early for her.

She sighed and kept driving, heading on the everyday route she took to and from the mall, trying to put the past behind her again and pay attention to the matter at hand.

Which happened to be getting herself mentally ready for the hullabuloo of working in a candy store.

But that was beside the point.

"Tills, do you think we should stay and party up the mall after closing or go on patrol?" She asked, nonchalantly.
