MaryAnn walked with her red and black plaid skirt with a black loose tank top with a red teddy bear on the side. She also worn a pair of net stockings and blacks boots with a bow to finish it off. As she entered
the dining hall, you could hear her 3 metal belts coming together. Seeing there was her favorite tea at the table, she sat down quietly with her grandmother on the side. As she was drinking her black raspberry blood tea, she saw her grandmother's eyes fill with worry.
"Grandma, are you okay?"After a few seconds, her grandmother told her about the missing fragments and how MaryAnn was chosen to look for them. Her grandmother's stern and serious look made her knew that these fragments were importent. She agreed and promised her grandmother that she would find the missing fragments. Finishing the last drop of the tea, she ran upstairs.
MaryAnn came back down stairs, with a bag filled with blood pills and canteens, flashlight, and a map. She hugged her grandmother and went off to go find the fragments. She looked at her map.
"Hmm...where should I go first... She looked around. Then something catched her eye. The map showed a busy city nearby. She didn't know why she wanted to go to that place, but one of her senses knew that something was there. She went off to the town.

|| Even in the darkness ||

A beautiful blond haired girl wandered around the streets of the neutral world. The small town she wandered about in was busy as it was midday here. Zora had been walking about the neutral world for a couple of months now and so far she has found no sign of the fragments. She knew a lot of people who were willing to pay good money for these fragments so that was incentive enough to go look for them. Zora walked into the nearest tavern and ordered something to drink. The barkeep was a large older man but he said nothing as she ordered her drink. Zora looked out the window of the tavern and she saw the great dark forest the bordered the town.

Zora turned to the barkeep. "What resides in that forest?" The barkeep let his eyes wander to the window and spoke softly. "Evil things lie in that forest. They say the portal to a dark dark world is hidden in those trees. No one who has ventured there ever returns." Fear resided in his eyes and he dared not look at the forest for more than a few seconds. Zora nodded. Well if there's a portal to the dark world, that has to be it. "Thanks." Zora put a few coins on the table and left the tavern. Zora went to the edge of the forest and tried to peer into the darkness. Unfortunately she couldn't see a damn thing. Zora took out her lantern and whispered a spell. The flame inside the lantern flashed to life and emitted a soft glow. Zora took a breath and suddenly the blond girl standing on the edge of the forest melted away. Her form shifted and a large white tiger stood in her place. Zora took up the handle of the lantern in her mouth and ran into the darkness of the forest.

Hours later Zora emerged from the thick trees of the forest into a clearing. The clearing was just as dark as the rest of the forest. The only light to be seen was coming from the enchanted lantern in the mouth of the white tiger. On the opposite side of the clearing stood what looked to be just a hole in time and space. That must be it. Zora shifted back into her human form before approaching the darkness further. She could feel the darkness eating at her light form and she cringed. She could stand the darkness but she knew it would slowly eat at her being. Zora knew that some of the fragments had to lie in the world of darkness. She gave in to the fact that there would be no way of getting them without going into the world of darkness. Zora approached the portal and tried to look into it, but she saw nothing. She took a deep breath and stepped into the portal.

She emerged on the other side a little winded. The switch from the neutral world to the world of darkness was a hard one. Zora steadied herself and looked around. She found herself in a dark city. The lantern had snuffed itself out so she whispered another spell to get it going again. But instead of her bright white flame it usually had, the flam was a bluish color. My magic must work differently here. Zora looked around and headed down the first street she saw. She kept her eyes out for anything suspicious. It was then she stumbled upon three people. Two twins and a young girl. Zora raised her lantern and spoke out to them. "Who's there?" Her voice was friendly but in the back of her mind she was ready to attack if they turned hostile.

>>>>>>>>If I said I were lost...

Hermes sat upon his throne made of ice, and looked out upon the frozen waste he called his home. He lived alone in a manor which overlooked the world of Light at it's highest peak. As he peered through the large, Victorian-window embelleshed with gothic accents, he couldn't help but to think of the worlds beyond his own. In his world, there was he and his manor. His magnificent manor. It sat upon the mountain that loomed over the world of light, and thus there was always snow upon his grounds. He never cared to get it shovled away though, for he does not have servants to fufill his every wish.

He remembers growing up in the manor, with his parents. They were wealthy aristocrats who loved the season of winter for it's prismatic beauty and pristine glow as the dew froze to the morning leaves. His parents however, suffered a most unfortunate end when they had befallen victim to a brutal robbery at the hands of a petty thief from the world of Darkness. After that day, Hermes had became heir to the family throne and had taken a strange love for all things ice and snow. He sent home all of the manor's servants and maids. He wanted to live alone in his new, cold world.

He recently has had feelings of longing to leave this place, as he had not done so in a few years. Maybe there were things that could make his happy on the other side of the door, in fact on the other side of the worlds even. Hermes thought to himself, 'Maybe, just maybe, I can leave this world once and for all, see what else is out there. I've been cooped up in this manor for far too long and these memories aren't going anywhere. I'm sure mother and father would want what is best for me, besides I've never really had any friends since they left. I haven't spoken to another soul in ages...but where can I go?'

Hermes began to head downstairs to get his belongings. He walked slowly, step by step down the large, white and blue marble stairway to the grand hall. He hands slid along the fine handcrafted handrailing, which by now was covered in ice. As he reached the foot of the stairway, he noticed a slight dim in the room at the end of the hall, a dim that wasn't normally there. He went to investigate and came upon his fireplace, lit with a burning fire. 'That fireplace hasn't been used since my parents left...what is going on?' The fireplace looked to still be out of use, but there was definately a raging fire burning within. He ventured closer to the fire, to feel a warmth he had not felt in ages. As soon as he had gotten close enough, a flames grew and lashed out and had grabbed his very existance and was dragged through to another world.

User Image Shiho saw the girl approach him. "Yeah,I'm fine" Shiho tried to hide his katana in a pitch black corner he saw."So what are you doing in a place like this?" "You seem like you like to go out in lighter places by the way you dress."
Alice looked at him scornfully. "I would never belong to the light. Have you ever heard of me?...I'm B-Rabbit..." She smiled wickedly. Chains came out of her back and they had sharp tips. "I hate the world of light." She looked at him with a hated look.

Hayden waved goodbye to her mother, while walking she could hear her mother's mind saying 'Good luck. Be safe.' Her pink hair was blowing in the wind with her neon green keroppi T-shirt. She wore black skinny jeans, a watch, and a cute little bow on her hair. She looked down at her black converse with her gir shoelaces and found a paper advertising a restraunt. She had no idea why, but her body pulled her to the direction where the restraunt is. She walked wondering if they had tacos at the restraunt she was skipping to.

Alice looked at him with no emotion. 'Looks like the Black Rabbit has been forgotten...' She sighed and jumped on a roof a building. She walked around on the roof and sighed. She jumped off and walked back to the gate and stared at it. Dare she go back in and be alone again? She opened the gate and the darkness swallowed her whole. Very violently. She was back in her home. She walked to her room where all the creepy dolls were and looked out her window. She saw the guy still walking and watched him suspiciously. He wasn't like most guys. He was so unusual. She wondered why he had a katana by him when she was near...

MaryAnn walked slowly, seeing if anything seemed special. She saw the girl walking in a shop, looking for something. "Is she looking for the fragments too?" She went inside the shop, knowing that if the fragment was here, she would find it first. The waiter took her to her table, and she sat down. Next to her was the girl she saw earlier. She was thinking of a way to find out if she was one of us. She secretly put a blood pill inside her drink and drank it.
