Background:

Ikaria: Like all other worlds, a place full of turmoil, triumph, and persecution.
Three races inhabit Ikaria: The humans, the elves, and the demons.

Humans: The same race we know and love from our own world. The least likely of the races to be Elementalists. They worship the god Enimile.
Elves: A gracious, quiet race, possessing long, pointed ears, cat eyes, and keen senses. More likely than humans to become Elementalists. They worship the goddess Kirlyria.
Demons: A bold race, whose skin, eyes and hair is tinted by their element, and who possess long ears that point downward and horns. All demons can control an element. They worship a different god or goddess depending on their element. Fire: Infenix, Water: Hyagua, Earth: Gaock, Wind: Zephin, Dark: Sagurro, Light: Luxia.

Ikaria is a world full of Elementalists, those that are capable of controlling the elements. These elements are fire and water, earth and wind, and darkness and light. But, feeling threatened by the power of the elementalists, the human government had them wiped out long ago. Those that escaped had to go underground, never to blow cover, never to be seen again...

Except, of course, those who chose to rebel.

Rumors sprang up of an underground band of Elementalists of all stripes- all six elements, all three races, all sorts of backgrounds and life stories- who chose to live their lives as outlaws. Running around Ikaria, stealing what they please, this little group of rebels is a mystery to the people. Why do they exist? How did they find each other? And what on earth are they planning?

This is their story.

Personality: Kale is determined and strong willed.
Three strengths: Power over water, able to talk his way out of most things, very agile
Three weaknesses: Dark past that haunts him, reckless, dependant on friends for support.

Personality: Hates everything, loves violence
Three strengths: Incredibly strong and agile, strange ability to heal quickly, all of Kale's fighting experience
Three weaknesses: Is not as strong when fighting Kale, Violent ways often get him in bad situations, is only a clone and has almost no emotion

Race: Elf
Element: Water

Physical Appearance:
Personality: Amirra is usually calm and doesn't show her feelings often but she will protect those close to her when needed. She is willing to give advice to those who need it, wheter they asked or not.
Three strengths:
1) Stubborn: Amirra has had many near-death experiences and with every one she has been stubborn. Due to that stubborness she has been able to live through numerous fatal injuries.
2) Control: She has mastery over her powers, she can bend the water in any shape and it has helped her a lot in tight situations.
3) Emotions: Since Amirra shows no emotion, it is hard to tell what her next move will be and it is usually an advantage when she is being interrogated.
Three weaknesses:
1) Non-violent: Amirra prefers to use words more than shed blood and that makes her vulnerable in any battle.
2) Trust: She has never truly been able to trust anyone in her life and when she has allies she tends to ignore them, sometimes it ended badly for both sides.
3) Health: Amirra has always had problems with her health, even when she was a child. This is why she hides her emotions and stays calm, when she is in shock or gets too excited she starts to cough up blood and faints for hours at a time.

Wind Elementalists
(Viento de Sol)

Name:Ryuu Hatake
Race (human, elf, demon):Human
Element :Wind Elemental
Weapon:Katana, Kunai knives
Physical Appearance:He has a straw hat he usually carries around and wears, Dark brown hair that sometimes appears black, Rustic red/brown eyes, black/brown gi and pants, with a black/red sash. He walks on bamboo sandals, with his ninja-tabi underneath. He finishes his look with a Black bandanna and brown cloak. His Katana is all black except for the red silk string holding it to his body.
Personality: Ryuu is a sarcastic, funny, perverted, and rogue person. When his Katana is drawn, his personality takes a complete 180 and he becomes a silent, deadly assassin.
Three strengths:Unusual (Meaning super) speed, Faster reflexes, and augmented senses.
Three weaknesses:Lack of Power, The Dark element, and The element of Light.

Earth Elementalists
(Tierra de Luna)

Name: Nyliira Varlim
Race: Elf
Element: Earth
Weapon:A long sword named Blackrazor and a short sword named Nimbus.
Physical Appearance: Nyliira
Personality: As a child she was very in tuned with nature and spent a lot of her time meditaing as she got older. She tends to be mature and observant. She will speak her opinion when it is needed otherwise she enjoys helping others as long as it doesn't upset the balance. She has the power of nature with her which she is gifted in and truely enjoys.
Three strengths:
.: Control~ Nyliira has spent a lot of time learning to controll her emotions. She is most of the time able to keep a placid face. She also is ,most of the time, able to keep a cool head in battle.
.:Ambidextrous~ Pretty self explanatory. She is able to use both of her hands with equal skill. She often fights with both blades because of this.
.: Agility~ Being an elf this attribute is all ready very good but she has spent a lot of time doing mediative stretches and exercises that help her sharpen and enhance that skill.
Three weaknesses:
.: Curiosity~ If something seems even vaguely intersting she will most likely study it, follow it, or kill it. It has got her in to trouble one more then one occasion.
.: True Neutral~ She believes that there needs to be a balance between good and evil. That the world should be dominated by neither. This means she is really never truely one hundred percent on anyone's side.
.: Demons~ She doesn't trust demons. She will not go into a had slaughtering frenzy when she see's them but will act stiffly towards them. If engaged in battle she will go after them first and will do everything to see that they die. There are only two demons alive today that she treats as friends and equals.

Light Elementalists
(Luz de Sol)

Name: Cabe Leonhart
Race : Human
Element: Light
Weapon: He has a black, jagged claymore, with a split down the middle, used to break blades. The claymore is enchanted with wind, so it is able to cut through nearly anything. He also has four throwing knives hidden in his glove at all times, and a knife strapped to his boot.
Physical Appearance:
Personality: He is very quiet and calculating, and emotionless to the point of people thinking he has a problem of some sort. He often states the real truth during a situation, and never lets emotion or bias influence his opinion.
Three strengths: He has extraordinary speed, his swordsmanship is unmatched, and he always thinks logically, even in the heat of battle.
Three weaknesses: He is very near emotionless, so he can't be read by his comrades, his knack for telling the hard truth often turns people away from him, and he is prone to bleeding for extended periods of time.

Dark Elementalists
(Oscuro de Luna)

Name: Ichigo Unori
Race (human, elf, demon): Demon
Element (none is allowed, if you'd like: shadows/ darkness
Weapon: A long staff with a black dragon on the top. It holds her power of darkness and is basically her soul.
Physical Appearance: Mid-back length hair, black of course. Tall and lanky, appears human. Wears black clothes with a cape and is distinguishable by the little red in the dragons eyes and by the red choker around her neck.
Personality: Pessimistic and very grave, like the darkness itself. Clever and resistant to others ordering her around.
Three strengths: controls shadows, enabling them to strangle people. Can just about dissappear into shadows and is a very skilled hider thereoff. Is working on a special skill; using the shadows to take control of someone.
Three weaknesses: Light, light and light. Must stay in shadows and can never be in sunlight. If in sunlight, Ichigo will immeadiatly loose her stregth and elemental control. If so, she will be entirely vonurable. She will usually only appear or travel in darkness because of this.

Name: Sage Willow
Race: (human, elf, demon): Elf, but pretends shes human, and hides it very well.
Element: Dark Elemental
Weapon: Sword, quite long and wide.
Physical Appearance: Tall figure. Thin, but you can see she has some muscle. She has blonde curly hair which reaches down her lower back. Her hair also hides her pointy ears. She has green eyes with sharp corners, with a very stern look. This is complemented by her pointy eyebrows, nose and pointed chin. Her lips are naturally a blood red tone, and tend to be smirking. She usually wears lace dresses and her black trench coat, training, battling, or up to something. She usually wears black boots.
Personality: Very friendly and childish, but can keep very focused, and knows when to be serious. She is hard to get to know when you first meet her.
Three strengths: She can focus her energy very well into an object, her eyes can charm people before even talking to her, she has photographic memory
Three weaknesses: She was cursed as a child with vengance. She cannot cry. If she finds true love, she will turn to stone.

Personality: A charismatic thief who manages more often than not to talk his way out of the largest of problems.
Three strengths: Stealth, Charisma, many contacts around the world.
Three weaknesses: Non-violent tendencies, is a wingless demon, makes deals far too big for him to handle.

Name: Sienna Liata
Age: 18
Race: Human [she insists she's part demon, but no one believes it]
Element: Fire
Weapon: Double daggers, plus she has a bunch of throwing stars tucked into her belts 'just in case'
Physical Appearance: Sienna is very fond of flashiness, despite her occupation, and it shows in her attire. She wears a sleeveless orange ribbed top, baggy cargo shorts, and plain black boots. She shows off with her bright red cape, which is fastened around her neck with a golden bead with a flame symbol embossed in it. Her top is covered in belts- her chest is wrapped in five belts, as though they're part of her top, and she hides things in the back of the belts so they're hidden by the cape. Her hair is bright red [she points to this when trying to convince others of her supposed demon ancestry] and she wears it in short, spiky pigtails on top of her head. Her eyes are an orangey-hazel.
Personality: Sienna is a greedy, excitable, and gregarious individual. She absolutely hates being alone and makes friends easily, but she'll sometimes have trouble choosing between money and her friends. She loves her power and makes the phrase 'playing with fire' far too literal- she's gotten in lots of trouble for lighting things on fire. She's a kleptomaniac to the extreme- she'll take anything that isn't nailed down- and she's rather good at it. She's earned a reputation as The Red Flash- since all anyone ever sees as her as she escapes is a flash of red. She doesn't like fighting, but she'll kill if she has to. She also has a bad habit of gossip.
Three strengths:
-Speed. Sienna is extraordinarily fast. She can steal something and disappear before anyone notices she was there, even when they're close by. She's very proud of this talent, justifiably.
-Logic. Sienna can be a tremendously logical person, but only when it suits her.
-Charisma. Sienna can charm the pants off of pretty much anyone. She takes advantage of this regularly...
Three weaknesses:
-Distractability. If something shiny catches Sienna's eye, she's off, no matter how important a mission she's on.
-Water. It's stereotypical of a fire Elementalist, sure, but Sienna cannot swim and is deadly afraid of any body of water larger than a puddle.
-Mood swings. Sienna can be pissed one second and joyous the next. Her opinions about people tend to shift over time.

"Nnng."

Sienna was not a morning person.

Every single morning, she thought, I'm exhausted. And yet every single morning I'm the first person awake. What is wrong with me?
She blamed the sun. As much as she loved the heat and the light, she hated the light when it came in through her curtainless window at the most absurdly early hours.

She rolled out of bed [almost literally]. Another beautiful day in Zatsura, she thought. The Zatsura Forest that surrounded the Thieves' Guild's hideout went on for miles. The townspeople of Kairin, the first town on the eastern border of Zatsura, thought the hideout was underground. If only they knew.

All these thoughts went through Sienna's head as she exited her room. She looked down the long hallway.

"MMMMMGHHH!" she shouted. It took her a moment to realize that that, in fact, wasn't a word.

"WAKE UP, PEOPLE! RISE AND...well...wake up," she finished lamely, realizing that she most definitely wasn't shining.

Ichigo rolled over and saw that it was morning once again. "Ugh, another beautiful sunny day... it's just great." she said aloud, letting everyone know that she was not happy about it. She sat up and noticed the sun light was streeming throught the window with great intensity and it was a little close for her liking. Ichigo looked beside her mat that her staff was still there. It was always her fear that it would dissappear one day.

"Good morning Sienna, or should i say grave morning..." She grumbled, seing her leader awake.

"Ichigo...you are so dramatic," Sienna said to her guildmate, more than a touch playfully.

"I suppose I should be, you know, grateful you're awake. Little miss creature of the night."

She grinned and began walking down the hallway she stood in. She was not a natural-born leader by any means, but she found the position a perfect excuse to mock her fellow guild members. Which she did all the time, anyway, but now at least there was a measure of authority behind it.

"I'm starving. Seriously, Ryuu had better wake up or he's gonna miss-aw, CRAP!"

Looking into the cabinets of the headquarters' makeshift kitchen, she found that they were completely out of decent food. Fruits, vegetables, bread, milk- all gone. All that was left was water, and even that looked a little suspect. Not that Sienna liked water on the best of days...

"Time for a raid, I think. Anywhere you feel like going?" she asked Ichigo.

"Somewhere conceled in the blackest night... ugg, i hate sunny days... but anyway shady would be nice." Ichigo didnt even bother smiling back. She walked over and stared into the water. There were some little bugs in it. Maybe mosquitos. She knocked it over, watching the babies squirm and die on the floor. "There." she said simply. "Shall we go?" Ichigo asked," it doesnt look like any one else wants to come," she glanced at the still figures, conferable sleeping away the morning.

Dante looked at the two girls, sure that they were unaware to the fact that he had been awake for over four hours, and had gotten just over 5 hours of sleep. He had never needed too much sleep. It dulled the senses. Deciding that he would accompany them on the raid, he spoke up. "Excuse me ladies, perhaps I could persuade you to let me come along on your little adventure?" He asked, standing up and very possibly frightening them. His claymore was leaned against the wall, and he grabbed it, strapping it to his waist.

"GYAHH!" Sienna squeaked, jumping about five feet backwards and drawing her daggers before realizing that it was Dante who had spoken.

"Oh. Hi, Dante...Please don't do that again. You're coming with us?"

She looked back and forth between her two traveling companions. Ichigo and Dante. Dante and Ichigo.

She groaned.

"This is going to be a cheerful journey, for sure."

She gave the ground a cursory glance, mostly for Ichigo's sake.

"...And the mosquitos weren't necessary. Anyone have a clue of where to go? Kairin's a possibility, but..." she couldn't help but grin as she continued, "a bit predictable, don't you think?"
