The Sacred Star Quarantine {O/A}{NEEDS DOCTORS!!!}

An incident in the Sacred Star Hospital involving an unknown virus went unsolved when the patient bled out and died. Unfortunately, the cadaver provided no more information than they were able to gather before. The shock of it haunted the staff involved with the case.

Not long after, other patients and some of the staff that were on the job that night took sick. The illness was so out of the ordinary that it didn't take long to identify it as the same mysterious virus that Sacred Star had encountered earlier. Soon, it became evident that the other patients needed to be moved to other facilities. The remaining staff and patients of Sacred Star Hospital were thrown into a nightmare quarantine, cut off from the world.

Soon, those close to some of the staff before the quarantine fell ill as well. Too scared to stay, but too concerned to leave, the staff of Sacred Star Hospital watch their lives crumble to shambles. Can they solve the mystery of the Death Affliction, or will everyone they know and love fall victim to this ungodly killing machine?

The Dying

They don’t dress you in hospital gowns because they want you to feel like you’re real. They let you choose what you want to eat because they want you to feel free. They give you your own room to make you feel like they haven’t stripped away your privacy.

But they only give you a set amount of clothing. They hide your medicine in whatever food you pick. They have hidden cameras and microphones. You were never ever truly free once you stepped foot in this place.

Sacred Star Hospital is currently the only hospital to provide care for those with the Death Affliction. Originally it was a real hospital, but after over half of the patients and staff caught the Virus, the priorities of the Asylum have changed.

No one is allowed to visit you once you enter. It's regulation. When you're in quarantine, people are only allowed in.

Although, maybe you won’t notice. You may be too busy with your imaginary friend. They’re not really imagined. Some of the other patients can see them. The poor doctors and nurses can never meet your imaginary friend, or anyone else’s. Nevertheless, the staff try to treat you like you're normal. Isn't that nice?

The Ghosts

Damn, life only seems to get harder. Breathing on your own? A thing of the past. You can’t eat by yourself, stand by yourself, or sleep without pills.

Holding onto life in a hospital bed, screaming at night for it all to end. But it never does. The doctors, they’re too good for your liking.
Your imaginary friend tells you that it will all be over soon. You don’t believe him. You never will. He’s “imaginary”, right?

You open your eyes and try to unplug the machine. But you can’t reach. Just end it now. You plead in your mind. You can feel it creeping up your body like a deadly snake. The pain is unbearable. You scream, louder, louder, LOUDER!!!!!

And then, it stops. No more pain. It’s over now. And you’re an imaginary friend. The plastic covering over the Hospital still binds you. In fact, the only difference between you now and you then is that now you look different ((you might even have wings)) and now you're invisible to anyone who doesn't have an advanced case of the Death Affliction.

The Nursing Staff

You keep them from a horrible secret; the patients are dying. The “markings”; they are the Death Affliction. It makes them delusional. They think they can see things that you cannot. They imagine that they can fly. They are going insane. They are going to die. All of them do. The symptoms are horrifying. You always twitch when you see the ones that are extremely advanced. That's when you have to quarantine them from all the others that are quarantined together! At that point, they're just about dead. All of them are just about dead.

So, as long as they’re dying, you might as well have some fun, right? No one comes to visit these freaks anymore. You can rape them, torture them, starve them, and even murder them, and no one would ever notice. As long as they’re dying, and you’re not, you’re fine, right? Just don't get on the Director's bad side, or it'll be your head. Remember, no one comes in to check on you guys, and you won't get out if you piss him off!

But, perhaps you really do care... Maybe you actually want to help these poor unfortunate souls. Good luck. Most of them don't trust you anymore anyway!

Anyway, inside the Hospital, you need to take care of yourself. Your rooms are on the top floors, high above the sick ones. When you get down to where the patient's rooms are, you need to wear a medical mask. It's stupid, but you never know when you might catch something you'd regret.

Stage one: The Affliction starts somewhere, looking like a strange, black tattoo.
-Lasts about one to two weeks on average.
Stage two: The Affliction begins to spread outward in all directions. The patterns of the Affliction become more intricate. It becomes slightly irritated when scratched or bumped into hard.
-Lasts about one to two weeks on average.
Stage three: The Afflicted begin see things. They are called Imaginary Friends at the Hospital. The irritation becomes slightly worse, and headaches can strike at any time.
-Lasts about a month up to three months on average.
Stage four: The Afflicted can hear the voices of the Imaginary Friends. Along with the headaches, teary eyes also becomes a regular occurrence.
-Lasts about a month on average.
Stage five: The length of this stage varies. The Afflicted get chronic migraines, feel little desire to eat or even live in some cases, and other psychological problems can occur.
-Usually the longest stage; the record length is 2 years.
Stage six: The afflicted crash. They bleed out. They are near death.
-Length depends on the care they receive.
Stage seven: The afflicted become very critical. They die slowly and painfully. They become suicidal, and scream randomly.
-Could last up to two weeks.
Stage eight: Death.
-Eternal.

Luna walked through the halls of the hospital as silently as possible. She didn't want to wake the patients who were actually able to get some rest. "Poor dears. This disease is a horrible thing to go through." She said as she peeked into each room to make sure the patient was ok. She stopped at the nurses station and picked up somemore files. "They keep coming in by the boat load. Poor things." She said sadly.

Albert was layed on the bed of one of the rooms of the hospital when he started to open his eyes and look around the room,he got a little shocked of not being at his house and acidentaly fell of the bed''Where am i?''he asked to himslef when he remenbered that he was sent to the hospital so he got a little calm as he stod up and looked around the room again''so i will have to stay here until i find the cure''he said as he looked to the door of his room,so he decided to go for a walk on the hospital,so he walked out of his room and started to walk down on the hallways looking around to see how the hospital was

Luna turned to walk back to the quarintine area when she saw a boy walking around. "Excuse me sir. Patients really aren't supposed to walk around unattended. Is there anything I can help you with?" She asked as she walked over to him. She put her hand on his shoulder to get his attention and keep him from going anywhere.

As he walked he continued to look aroudn the hallways when he felt something touching his should,he looked back a little scared because he knew that everyone excepting the staff of the hospital was infected but he saw a girl behind him so he stared at her for a moment and than loked away''Sorry i didnt knew about it...anyway who are you...you dont look to have the deseae do you?''he said as he looked back to the girl that was her hand on his shoulder when he took her hand of his shoulder
