Long ago, there were many gods. They were the most beautiful beings of all, and perhaps some of the cruelest. They guarded the earth and all its secrets, protecting the people of the land as best they could while toying with them when they were bored. These gods lived on Mount Olympus, far away from the mortals so they could help them but not gain their taint. For hundreds of years these gods ruled, and mortals were content to live under them. These beings, while always toying and seducing them, were there to protect them. It was worth the sorrow to have that protection.
But the reign of the gods did not last for long. After hundreds of years, christians came to the land and started telling of only one God. The mortals listened, and were astounded. This God sounded much better than the ones they were forced to follow. One by one the people were turned to Christianity. One by one they forgot about the gods that had protected them until then. And as they were forgotten, so the gods disappeared. For what use was there for them when no one believed anymore?
Now, centuries later, the gods have appeared once more. But not as their previous immortal selves. No, now they are the very things they had toyed with when they were alive: mortals. The gods were reincarnated in human bodies, with only a fraction of their former powers and no longer able to live forever or stay young. While angered, these new gods could do nothing about it. The only way they can regain their former glory is to learn what they had not learned so long ago. Compassion, honesty, sympathy, and all other things that would make them capable rulers. The gods, however, do not know this.
And now, it would seem that someone knows of their existence. The twelve gods reborn are invited to attend a prestigious boarding school that caters only to the best. The invitation strokes their egos, and they accept. When they get there, they realize that the school is filled with beings. Not just gifted or rich mortals, but also creatures once thought forgotten. Nymphs, Driads, centaurs, and all other manner of creatures. The moment they step in, they feel as if they belong there. Here at this school, they can learn to use what powers they have (while they are reincarnations, they do not have all the memories and so do not remember how to use their powers) and get to know mortals better. Here they can actually live, falling in love or just having fun.
But there is a dark secret behind this school. Someone brought the gods here not so they could survive, but so he could control them. Cronus, denied his right to rule by Zeus so long ago, has appeared once more and will use any means necessary to bring the now teenage gods under his control. Their teachers are his minions, beautiful beings meant to seduce the equally beautiful gods, as are some of their classmates. Only you can decide whether the gods will follow Cronus, who wants to return things to how they once were, or if they will fight him and keep things as they are.
