Arielle's sharp, bright eyes caught every one of Kin's movements. She didn't miss the anger, nor did she miss that white-knuckled grip on the bow the girl was carrying. Well. That was quite the clue, if she ever saw one.

She couldn't think of anyone else who might do that - hell, she couldn't think of any other girl who lugged around a bow in the first place. A rather knowing smile came over her blank, unreadable face. Taking a few quick steps, she came to Kin's side. "Long time no see," she said softly, that know-it-all smirk still on her lips.

Alright. That was one of the mysteries she was surrounded with solved. The expression on her said very clearly "I know who you are." She didn't need to say it aloud - and chances were that look in her eyes would clue Kin into who she was.

She was once the freaking goddess of wisdom, after all. She could be a stuck-up know-it-all if she wanted.

Destera prayed, actually prayed, that the tour would come to an end soon. She just wanted to get to her room and unpack everything, then possibly explore the grounds. They were so large, and she wanted to find the perfect spot to go to at night. Because not every spot was perfect. Only certain ones. Ones that would hide her from view, yet at the same time allow her the perfect view of the moon.

That was when she felt it. A dark presence somewhere nearby, eyes filled with murderous intent focused on her. No, she thought. Not me. Us. A discreet look around told Destera that no one was there. But she could swear she still felt that presence, the coldness of it working its way through her body. She felt like a small rabbit, prey for a hungry predator. And she hated it. She had never felt like that before, and she would be happy if she never did again. Shaking herself out of her thoughts, she looked at Mrs. Maria.

"Are we going to get on with this, or not? I don't have time to stand around here all day."

The secretary huffed and began walking. "Honestly, you'd think children these days would have more respect for their elders!"

Though she didn't like the "children" comment, Destera almost snickered at the elders part. Really, what would this woman do if she found out Destera was a reincarnated goddess from hundreds of years ago? From what she could tell about the woman, she judged she would have a heart attack. Perhaps it would be beneficial to tell her, if that were the case....Idly Destera touched the pentagram around her neck, the image itself enough to calm her nerves from the feeling before.

A Purrfect Companion
A girl scurried by, quickly, but gracefully rushing down the hallway, holding a small stack of wet books in her arms like she was holding the most precious thing to her. Her long blonde hair was loose and wild, obviously messed up and dripping wet. She had light, almost glass blue eyes that were calm, unlike those of a girl who had suffered what she had. She wore black shoes and a long black skirt, paired with a white sleeveless shirt but with seperate white sleeves the covered her arms from her shoulders to her wrists. She was a pale faced girl with a regal yet emotionless face.

((btw. no one knows who she really is. This is trinity.))

Tatianna took one last meaningful glance in her mirror, winding a recently curled black lock around her finger. After that long a carriage ride she was sure her butt was getting flat. She Made an irritable noise as the driver opened the door for her. She pay him no heed as her temper was disrupted. The carriage had been sweltering! She ached for a martini or something alchoholic to ease her nerves. Lets see what its all about, she thought to herself, straitening her white colored top and shifting her purse over her shoulder. The former goddess took on the role as a teenage girl immensely. Dior sunglasses, juicy couture handbag, bosswear jeans, white top that hung loosley on her figure giving her cleavage, and her black and white stilletos made up her image, as well as a ton of golden eyeshadows and black eyeliners.

As she made her way inside the school, she saw the troup further down the hall, and approached them with confidence.
"Hello, hi, i'm Tatianna." She flashed her smile to them all.

Kinara vaguely wondered if anyone else had felt the presence; Destera perhaps? The dark girl seemed to have a knack for picking up on things, not that she was giving anything away. Perhaps there would be a time when Kin could ask her.
These thoughts faded, however, when Arielle spoke again. To her. Kin couldn't deny the surprise that came--Arielle was clearly frigid and Kin figured she would never be deemed worthy to speak to (as if she cared). Even so, the archaic words were given, and they spoke volumes. Kin met Arielle's eyes, and after a moment's study, she smiled again, rage slipping away.
A holier-than-thou attitude, a love of books and knowledge--hell, the superiority complex was more than enough to convince her.
With an amused tone, she murmured, "Some thing's never change, eh?" In a quieter tone she added, "Athena."
That's it, then. Everything's going to change now, Kinara relected, if we're going to be more open about who we are. Or rather, who we were.
Footsteps made her turn her head at yet another girl, holding a stack of books, who passed them by.
Who...
"Hello, hi, I'm Tatiana," came a loud, accented voice from behind them.
Kin turned her head again, and took in the drop-dead gorgeous figure. Physically, she smiled a welcoming smile. Mentally, she winced. The newcomer was easier to place than Arielle. The vanity practically oozed off of her.
Oh good God, she thought. The goddess of love's in the house.

Danny relief after being understood so easily and almost frighteningly quickly that his fears started to creep in slowly as they walked. He could hear a few of the girls whispering behind his back which tightened his nerves once more. Even though he was on edge he tried not to show it but stared intently a what was ahead but thoughts and doubts rushed through his head. Were they talking about him? What was there something that they weren't telling him? He knew he was a freak of some sort and tried his best not to set himself, or anyone else, on fire but it was easier said than done. It was if something else other than him was controlling this power, and ever since he had entered this school the power inside had gotten stronger. Whether it was because it was around these people he didn't know but he could see that some people did. He looked back at the two whispering girls. What did they know?

He turned back towards them. He needed to find out, he had been in the darkness for too long and to shine some light on the situation would be helpful. But as he approached he heard the sound of sharp heels click against the stone. He saw, at the end of the hall, another girl. He stopped in his tracks for a moment to watch the designer label on legs introduce herself as Tatianna.

Tatianna held herself with a regal, selfish air and evaluated each person individually. They all were ripe with an unordinary beauty, and Tatianna just almost put a finger to her lip measuring if she would have any competition at all, but then sighed. This was an entertaining group, she thought sarcastically, how daft!
She noticed how they looked at her, and speculated who she could reside to speaking with. They all seemed tense. Tatianna then plunged deeper into the reason she was here, she wondered who was who. She was the goddess of love and beauty after all, she'd soon know. People were attracted to her, with a little help of her magic of course. But no one could really resist her presence, unless they were some insane phsyco. But of course, she wouldn't condemn her true essence until she knew who the others were.
"Hows it going?" She asked them all.

Arielle reached a conclusion very similar to Kinara's, and sighed. She had expected Aphrodite to be someone like this. It wasn't much of a shock. But really, she thought, How bothersome. We've got a new school diva. The girl wasn't the biggest fan of the fashonista type. She had found that they were more often not the twittering fools who disrupted her reading.

"As well as can be expected," was her diplomatic reply, the chill present in her voice once more, then turned back to Kin.

"Some things don't, I suppose," she replied in that same soft tone, "Though some change far more than I'd like. Last summer my mortal parents took me to visit Athens, for a change of scenery." She sighed and lifted her hands. "My temples are no more than tourist-trap ruins now. It's only to be expected, I suppose, though, since they've been out of use for a couple millenia." She smirked slightly. "Though we ought to stop whispering. I think we're making dear Mr. Sunshine nervous." Of course she was talking about Danny - the fire was a rather to-the-point hint. With that, she fell silent, and continued to walk. She wished they could go somewhere interesting.

"You taught me that life doesn't last forever. That's why we have to help each other and live life to the fullest. Even if you say goodbye, you'll always be in our hearts. So, I know we're not alone anymore."

CNGB : CHOCOBO
The girl took a quick glance at those who seemed to be new students. But she quickly looked back, her glasses shielding her eyes. But she didn't get far and was stopped by a teacher not far from the new comers."You! stop running immediantly!" Her feet stopped and she clutched her books closer to her chest, her eyes downcast slightly, not looking the teacher in the eye.

"What are you doing outside of class? You should be in your period 4 class. The bell rang 10 minutes ago so you're 10 minutes late." announced the teacher. The woman looked angrily at the student, her arms firmly placed on her hips.

"I'm sorry." the girl murmured, her voice barely audible. Her gaze still did not meet that of the angry teacher. A drop of water slid from her damp blonde hair and soaked the ground. She shivered slightly but fought the coldness she was feeling. Behind her glasses, her glassy blue eyes stared at the ground.

"And whats worse!" carried on the teacher as if she hadn't even heard the girl. "You're wet and untidy! You had better have a good explanation for this!" Her dark eyes were flashing with anger. Suddenly, she whipped out her hand as if to slap the girl for not looking at her and talking, but instead, grabbed the girl's arm that had come up to shield her. "You're to recieve detention missy. And a phone call to your parents!"

Tatianna smirked at the former "Athena's" reply. It was well known long ago that they had always somehow ended up in competition of some sort. Tatianna brushed her dark hair over one shoulder, a hand on her hip.
"And you?" She made a quaint attempt to spur the conversation, directing her question to the other girls and guys. Tatianna may have been vain in all ways, but she needed to get down to buisness and figure out if the prospect of this school fell into the type of thing she could slip out of. Ever since she was a child she'd been schemeing against her mother and fathers will. The school is too scary, the people are mean, the guys are innapropriate; they'd all been used as idle excuses to get out of something she didn't see fit. But the aspect of the old gods and goddesses of Olympus, meeting them all again? She was curious enough, she might in fact stay.

But her attention was grasped by a happening in the hallway; a beautiful blonde girl was being yelled at by one of the teachers. Tatianna's eyes narrowed at the site. Poor dear, wet for some reason, shy as can be! Tatianna showed no sign of pity for the drenched girl, but inside her mundane emotions seized at her heart. Though Aphrodite shied away from caring for others, Tatianna had a good view on what was pitiful or not.

Kin shook her head at Arielle's words. It was too true how some things had changed. The temples were ruined, the worshippers long dead, the names of their gods were ghosts. But perhaps some things had changed for the better, at least in her case. She remembered being Artemis, dreamed about it often once she hit puberty...and she did not like that aspect of herself. She didn't want to be that girl...goddess. Whatever.
'Mr. Sunshine?' she thought, looking over at Danny, who was looking at Tatiana, and beneath the curiosity she could sense worry. But why would she call him that?...
Oh. Oh. Apollo... Kin thought, feeling slightly stupid, before another emotion that was and yet was not hers rose up in her chest. Relief. Artemis had loved her twin brother very much...and here he was. But does he know? Do any of us not know? Should I approach him about it, and will he think I'm crazy? She didn't think she could handle that.
The confusion was making her feel trapped. It was not a comfortable feeling.
Kinara turned to Tatiana, smile back in place. "Well, the tour is going very slowly. We keep on getting...distracted." Okay, it was definitely getting too crowded in here. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, lest she pass out, Kin turned to Mrs. Maria. "I'm sorry, but I'll finish the tour by myself later. I...really need some fresh air." Without waiting for a reply, the former godddes turned and passed Tatiana, heading back for the front doors.
As she went, she heard a raised voice, and looked back without pausing to see a teacher lecturing the pale girl that had passed them. She continued without pausing, needing to be outside.
I don't care. I don't care.

Danny looked at the conversation from a distance and said the only words that came into his mind. "What the hell?..." he murmered, still in shock by how people's attitudes suddenly started to change. They didn't say anything particularly offensive but the atmosphere was murderous. He stepped forward nervously."Hello, erm... do you all know each other?" He tried a weak attempt at a grin but failed.

He just stood back and watched until he saw Kin leave and, after a quick look back at the group of girls, he followed. He had felt like he knew Kin from somewhere but couldn't remember, almost like a vivid dream but Danny couldn't think where or even when.

He ran to catch up but was distracted by a girl being told off. He heard most of the conversation and decided to help. Danny had always hated being told off, like he was meant to feel inferior to everyone else. He smiled at the girl and looked at the teacher firmly. "How can you tell off someone who was running. She was runing because she didn't want be told she was late but you did that anyway!" he didn't break eye-contact with the teacher. "You don't win in a situation like that so leave her and pick on someone your own size." This would have been a more effective argument if he were a few inches shorter but, being in the end years of his growth spurt and resulting to the height of an average 17 year old, he realised that "picking on someone your own size" may backfire.

((thank you!!!!))

The teacher gapped at Danny, finding it hard to say anything without screeching. "This has nothing to do with you!" she replied, nearly spitting at the impudent student. "You have no right here! She refuses to tell me her excuse! She's been a bad apple since she started here, always late at least 3 times a week, her clothes dirty, and never answering a teacher!" She stared the boy down, hopeing the others watching this would learn to respect their elders, if they didn't already.

The girl gave him an apreciative half smile though it didn't quite reach her eyes that much. But she turned her attention to the raving teacher and then to the ground, knowing that if she spoke in her own defense, the teacher would just find some way to get back at her, and if she said what was happening to her, she wouldn't believe her and make things worse. She had already learned that the hard way. This school was no heaven. It was absolute he**

Danny was quick to argue against this. "No, you're right, it isn't any of my business what this girl, he took a side look at the girl who was staring at the ground. who seems like she has had enough of you tormenting her so that she is terrifyed to even look at you. It isn't any of my business where or what this girl does but it's none of yours either. Why should she have to give you an excuse? I don't see any label on her back saying she belongs to you. So I suggest that you ask yourself the same question before you accuse others." With one last cold stare at the teacher he turned to the girl and smiled. He wanted to tell her it was all right to stand up for herself and to have more confidence but, like the teacher rudely said, it was none of his business. A smile would have to do.

He walked down to where he had seen Kin disappear off and soon reached the front doors from where they had entered. He breathed in the cold air from the outside and felt immediately refreshed. The sunlight seemed to light a path for him to walk. Curiously he followed and it wasn't long until he had found her. Now that he was ther he wasn't sure whether to talk to her or not. He hesitated and soon lost his nerve to talk to her. He sat on the dry grass around the corner from where she was and leaned back on the school wall. 'I knew I scared her off.' he thought to himself whilst he twirled a blade or grass between his finger and thumb. It's gonna be a long day.

Kin left the school and stalked around the building, touching the stone lightly. The breeze on her face felt good; immediately the tightness in her chest eased. She wandered a little further, around the corner of the building, and over to the trees that surrounded it. Leaning her case and bag against the trunk of one tree, she looked up at it.
She would loved to have climbed it, but, looking down at her skirt, figured it would be a bad idea. Instead, she sat down, back against the rough bark. She took off her shoes and leaned back, feeling the earth beneath her feet and letting her thoughts drift.

'...knew I scared her off...'

She jumped, looking around and seeing no one. That hadn't been spoken aloud...though the voice was already familiar, it echoed oddly in her mind.
"...Danny?" she called out hesitantly.
