REUNION

That's right folks, the Ninja Rave is going through another resurrection, so stay tuned!

(Side note: the fact that I'm doing this doesn't take away the fact that I'm addicted to a lot of other things now, so be patient. I want to do this right and have lots of input, so check here frequently for when and what I need from you patrons to make this smoother, if all goes well the rave will be officially back up this time next week.)

This resurrection is going to take place over the next few days, as such I need input from ALL

Something to keep in mind is this, remember that the rave is isolated on an island, so work within the bounds of that constraint.

For newcomers curious as to what the Ninja Rave was and will be once again. It was a dance club that regularly served as also a soap opera, fight club, and was generally just a great place for social interactions and rp.

Description:
Outside-

The Island on which the rave resides is two miles long, two miles wide, with many smaller islands surrounding the area. They all share common traits, having patches of palm trees and grass along the shorelines as well as closer into the mainlands. The water is crystal clear in between the islands, and it is fairly shallow allowing people to easily walk from island to island through the water. The immediate proximity around the rave on the central island is much more alive with plants, and even some wildlife.

The Rave: There is only one entrance to the building that faces the south, two double doors with standard bolt locks, though they are hardly ever locked. Stepping inside the rave you will notice a bar, full stocked and equipped to handle numerous patrons at all times. The bar itself extends practically the entire length of the rave's dance floor, with twenty bar stools. The dance floor is adjacent to the bar, measuring the length of two basketball courts as this was the reference used to construct it. There are two DJ boxes that hang over the dance floor, speakers placed all around the floor, as well as in the bar. For special occasions there are strobe lights located both under the dance floor, and in the ceiling for maximum elliptic seizure effect! Though this compromises the bulk of where most people will spend there time at the rave, there is a second floor that can be accessed via a staircase behind the bar. The second floor is completely dedicated to lodging, with thirty rooms with accommodations to meet basic needs including bathrooms, showers, and two queen sized beds in each room. Also up here are two security room located at the end of the hallway, the contents of which are obviously not disclosed.

What are Ravies?

Ravies are members of the old rave, who if listed here, I hold in very high regard. If you have any questions about the current plots or state of the rave, these are the people to ask.They are also viewed to be very skilled RP'ers as well as combatants, so respect them while you are here, at least OOC. ( Mix it up IC wise, these guys love it! )

General rules and regulations:

Apart from the normal RP guidelines and rules, here are some things specific to this thread.

" My marine could totally kill your samurai!"
-First and foremost this is a Ninja era RP, so characters and plots relevant to this are encouraged.
If you absoluetely must bring in that futuristic year 3033 soldier, go ahead, but understand you may have to tone down some of your antics (particularly if you like to RP fight) to not derail the purpose of the thread.

"I had a really weird out of body experience maaaaaaan...."
-OOC is a touchy subject, it allows people to break away from their character's and "shake it off" a bit but at the same time has the tendency to consume a good amount of pages before any RP posts are seen. Gauge the current atmosphere of the thread, if everyone is engaged in plot don't go on rambling for an entire page about how you got pulled over and it really REALLY sucked. Be respectful and don't make people feel awkward for doing here what they are supposed to be doing.

" Take it to the dance floor!"
-Fighting is fun! It keeps our imaginations in full swing, and is great for plots! Just bear in mind the island is very small, as are it's sisters. This may not be an optimal place for fighting just yet, but you can help change that by helping to re-build the Rave!

Really, all these specific rules are just common sense and courtesies. Nothing too hard to follow, the more rules you give someone, the more rebellious they want to be. Follow the TOS and these rules, and I won't have any problems with you. IC, OOC, or otherwise.

Current state of affairs

The Rave has been restored, and old friends have returned, as well as new friendships being forged.A defense is once again being taken into consideration, and the once lost Akatsuki he created long ago have also been resurrected. He works to ensure the safety of his friends and lover, hoping to bring about an age of peace to the Rave.




[ We are currently closed to attacks on the rave, once enough plot has been established I will open this "wall" so more interesting plots can take place. For now, all patrons are open to death and plot twists, so have a go at that if you're itchin'.]

~ Anun was running towards the Rave, silent as he came closer and closer to it. He was looking around himself rather quickly as he scanned the area with his red glowing eyes. He then launched himself into the air when he was about six or seven yards away, and came down without a sound upon one of the outer buildings, the medical center to be exact, as he looked upon the Rave building that stood within the center. ~
