A slight blush arised on her cheeks as he grabbed her hand sending a tinge of a surge through her body. She hadn't felt like this in a long time and that didn't last long. Looking over at him, she was wide eyed slightly that he was so take charge but still a little gentle. She looked at the painting he was talking about gazing at the blue butterfly. Anais gasped as she gazed at the painting. It was so beautiful. No, it was more, but she could not find the words yet. She slowly walked up closer to the painting her fingers gently lining the outside as she peered deeper into the picture. "Oh wow...You did this?" She gazed over at him with a soft smile on her lips. She was actually nice and not lashing, but how could she be so rude to a person who had such talent for art and was attractive all in one. Her eyes peered back at the painting, "I don't know what to to think. It's amazing but beyond that. I'm speechless for once." She chuckled as she gazed over at him. "You really are good."

Stephan could hear his own heartbeat race in anticipation. He had never shown anyone, other than his brothers, his art work. They didn't really comment. Stephan knew that it was good, but couldn't help feeling he had failed. Sure, his better eye sight, allowed him to see those fine details, but there was always that feeling. Like it wasn't good enough. Stephan watched Anais, waiting her response. He smiled when he heard her gasp. Stephan interpreted the sound as a good sigh. As if Anais was astonished at the beauty of the painting. When she asked if he did it. Stephan just nodded sheepishly. He didn't want to say anything. Stephan allowed Anais to take a better look. He stood quietly, biting on his bottom lip anxiously.

When She looked back at him and said that the painting was beyond amazing, he couldn't help but smile. The twinkle in Stephan's eyes was more focused and noticable. His features seemed to age a little and he appeared as an excited little boy. Stephan couldn't wait to show Anais his room. It was where his other paintings were and his work station. "I just try my best.." Stephan said modestly. He didn't like to boast. Well.. to people he didn't like he did, but he was beginning to like Anais and didn't want to seem big headed at all.

Stephan turned away a little looking at the circular stair well, before looking back at Anais, a smile upon his lips. "Shall we continue.. I'm not sure whether we'll be able to get into the other's room, but you can see my own.." Stephan said with a bright smile. He really wanted to show Anais his room. In his opinion it was much nicer than the other's. But that was because everyone had thier different likes. Stephan liked art so his room reflected that. He walked towards the stair well and waited at the bottom, turning back to Anais, seeing if she was going to follow.

She smiled at him seeing him smile for the first time since they met. He had a very nice smile, a smile that Anais wouldn't mind seeing for a long while. Well rather than the grumpy scowl he first greeted her with. Anais couldn't help but giggle but soon realized how girly she was truely being and let out a slight embarassed cough. She watched as he headed towards the circular staircase and blinked slightly. His room? Her heart was beating a million miles a minute beneath her rib cage. She felt like it was going to jump out of her mouth any moment. "This isn't some type of trick to get me to go to your bedroom and than trap me in there so I will be stuck as your eternal slave to do your very secretive bidding is it?" She said all in a rush of one breath. Anais you idiot She scowled at herself as she just stared at him embarassed at what she just said. She didn't mean for it to come out the way it did, but Anais couldn't help it. She was in fact nervous. "Sorry." She said as she nibbled on her bottom lip.

Anais followed him and headed towards the stair case climbing up a few stairs to catch up with him. A sharp pain jolted her arm as she winced slightly her hand holding onto her upper left arm. "Ow. Bloody hell." She cursed to herself.

Stephan chuckled at the sound of Anais' giggle. It would seem that he still had his devilish charm. Stephan's smile returned and he began up the stairs. For some odd reason, he really liked these stairs, they went round and round and round and.. you get the point. It made him dizzy which was funny. It reminded Stephan of a game he used to play with his little sister. He smiled sadly to himself, thinking about playing dizzy dizzy dinosaurs with little Nisha. Stephan had had so many happy memories of his sister, but no matter how much he thought about the good things the bad always came back to haunt him. Litterally.

Stephan turned and looked at Anais when she said about trapping her in his room. His light chuckle filled the air with a pleasant ring. Stephan stopped his laughing and smiled instead. "Drats.. how did you know??" He said playfully. The thought of trapping Anais had never even passed his mind. Stephan merely wanted to show her his room and all the paintings and drawings and photos within. He turned back around, still chuckling a little and began back up the steps.

Stephan got about two or thre steps further up, before he stopped dead in his tracks. He turned around and looked at Anais worry riddling his beautiful grey eyes. Stephan ran down the stairs to the girl. He had no idea what to do. Being a vampire meant that he didn't get hurt very often. "A-Anais.. Are you alright..??" Stephan asked. His voice shook a little with worry. Stephan didn't know what was wrong. He knew it had something to do with her arm but he wasn't quite sure what. Stephan held his breath just in case. He didn't want to find out too late that she was bleeding.

Indica awaited this man's actions and when he kissed her hand her heart fluttered and her mind raced. It was so proper yet provocative. So formal yet teasing. She knew not what to make of this Ciel. Indica was speechless, a rare occurance for her outspoken mind. She decided to use a trick she learned in her theater class, "I am astonished and know not what to say." That was the line they were told to use when wording with Romeo and Juliet. It worked in any situation. The humor of the line tugged at the corners of her mouth. Try as she might she couldn't help but smile at Ciel.

Ciel laughed lightly, shaking his head in disbelief. She had actually said that? Was Kiro playing with her mind? Or was that just her normal reaction? Either way, it made him smile as well, and he smiled wider when he realized he had never let go of her hand. Perfect. This was more fun than he'd had in a while... and it didn't make him feel guilty one bit. Her reactions were priceless, and his joy only grew when he realized that she might actually be enjoying this.

Anais giggled herself at the sound of how foolish she sound but was glad that he came out of it with a joke. He wasn't just a grumpy humbug of a man she thought he was. She continued walking behind him going around the stairs. It made her feel a little dizzy but she didn't mind, in fact it reminded her of a game she used to play with the others in the playground.

The pain in her arm wasn't grand, but it wasn't nice either. She pulled off her leather jacket and looked at her arm. The scratch earlier wasn't really a scratch but rather a cut. "Oh s**t." She said as she examined it. It wasn't infected yet, but it was starting to bleed a little. "Man, I blame Sarah for this. She just had to leave me behind at the school, but i'm fine, nothing some alcohol and bandages won't fix." She smiled and looked up at him, but the smile soon disappeared once she saw the look on his face. It was nothing like she had ever seen before. A look of worry and panic all in one. "A..are you alright?" She asked as she tilted her head slightly. "Look no need to worry I'm fine see." She said as she smiled at him. "Would you feel better if I lashed at you?" she laughed slightly trying to get that same smile and twinkle he had earlier. For some reason she didn't like seeing him like this.

Stephan had been right to hold his breath. Anais was indeed bleeding. When she examined it, Stephan could tear his eyes away from the crimson red liquid. He was alright as long as he didn't breath. It was worse smelling blood rathr than simply seeing it. Stephan shook her head clear and took a deep breathe. The scent of warm and fresh blood filled his senses but he didn't move. Stephan carried on breathing in slowly and deeply, until the smell was like a background smell. He was astonished at himself. Stephan hadn't thought that he would be able to actually resist the urge to lap up Anais' blood. His smile returned and he gentle picked Anais up. Stephan carried her gently up the stairs, because the last thing he wanted was for her to look her footing and fall all the way to the bottom.

Once at the top he set her down. "Sorry about that.. I just get frightened when others are hurt.." Stephan admitted. He smiled at Anais. The twinkle in his eyes returning. Stephan looked down the next hall. He adored this house, but the best part of it was his own room. He smiled brightly, his excitement returning. "There should be bandages in my room.. I think.." Stephan wasn't too sure but shrugged. He lead the way down the hall, passing several doors before reaching his own. Stephan waited outside for Anais.

Sudden and unexpected. Two things that could only fill Anais's vocabulary ever since she walked into the door. She blushed slightly as he picked her up carrying her up the stairs. For someone who looks so frail, he was definitely strong. She wrapped her arms around his neck lightly so that she wouldn't fall out of his arms, but just than she looked down noticing how tall the stair case really was. Taking in a deep breath she could smell the scent of his cologne or was that his natural scent? Either was it was nice and reminded her of so much of her childhood. Losing herself in a daydream, she nuzzled her head beneath his chin, but his skin was cold. She reared her head back and looked up at him, her eyebrow slightly raised. She gazed out the window seeing it was still snowing and raining so it could be explained for the cold skin. She just smiled as they reached the top, Stephan placing her back on her feet. "What you weren't going to carry me all the way to the bedroom like a blushing bride?" She giggled as she tore a piece of her shirt and wrapped it around her arm to stop the bleeding a bit.

Following behind him, she gazed at the closed doors on both sides of the hallway, her mind wandering to what secrets held behind the wooden panels. She couldn't help but giggle still "Well aren't you just a big ole' teddy bear." She teased as they reached his room and she stood next to him. This was the moment of truth. What secrets lie behind his door? What truths will she find out? More so what was his room like?

Stephan chuckled at Anais' comment about being a blushing bride. He didn't say anything though, because he knew he couldn't trust himself. Knowing Stephan he would come out with something really cheeky or flirtatous and he would get hit. He chuckled again at the thought. Stephan knew it wouldn't hurt if Anais hit him, it would just hurt his feelings because she would actually resort to trying to. Even if he did indeed deserve it. Stephan watched Anais carefully. He could tell that she was wondering what the other's bedrooms were like, but he wouldn't show her. It was his brothers' privacy. Stephan smiled at her when she stopped next to him, looking at his bedroom door.

Stephan opened the door to reveal a dark room. At first it seemed that there was nothing in the room, just a dark closet or something. It also looked rather small, however when Stephan flipped the switch the room came to life. The room was massive. About three or four times the size of your average master bedroom. The whole of the left side of the room was made of glass and in the middle of the glass there were two double doors, also of glass, leading to a balcony. To the right were two seperate doors. One leading to an onsuit bathroom and the other to a walk in wardrobe. In the center against the back wall was a king sized bed with black and red bedding. The walls were painted white, however all over the walls were intricate drawings and paintings that were actually painted straight onto the walls.

The paintings and drawings were of different things, such as flowers, animals and even people. It was deffinately a very different room. There was a big floor to ceiling mirror next to the door and in the left corner was a work station. With a corner desk. Pieces of paper were strewn across it, with drawings, painting and even writing. There were several easels with unfinished paintings on. Behind the bed posts of the king sized bed was a painted portrait of a young girl who looked much like Stephan, however cuter with childish features and dimpled cheeks. Around the girl's neck was the silver chain that was now around Stephan's. The portrait was of Tanisha-Rain, Stephan's little sister. It was there so Stephan never forgot about his sister and what he had done to her.

Stephan walked into the room an held out his arms, smiling his charming smile at Anais. "Come in, Anais.. And take a better look." Stephan said with the excitement of a little child. He let his arms drop and stood there quietly. Stephan's room was probably the most cleanest in the house. He didn't like to work in a dirty environment. It was his choice to keep his own room clean, but not his to keep the rest of the house clean. Stephan looked at Anais in anticipation, wondering what she thought about his bedroom. He loved staying in his room. Stephan could be alone and just paint or draw or write in peace. No-one except himself and now Anais actually knew what his room looked like. Just as his brothers had done, Stephan usually kept his door locked, so no-one could go snooping around in his room.

She giggled as well as he chuckled at her blushing bride comment. Her eyes gazed into his and there was that heart stopping feeling again. The certain surge that flowed through her body that made her body tingle with some kind of feeling she could not describe. Her heart pounded as he pushed open his door, Anais's eyes instantly was turned to the open door.

Peering inside, she first saw nothing, it was dark. Looks can be decieving, however, so when he turned on the lights, her eyes widened with amazement. The beauty and intricate details of the room left her speechless. She slowly walked inside looking around at the decor. It was all so, surreal. Something she would have never imagined she would see in her entire life time. "OH my...And I thought my room was huge." She said softly as she continued to walk around gazing and remembering. Such beauty around the entire room, the art just made her want to cry. Not out of sadness, but because never had she seen anything like it. A view that she could swear she felt like she was actually there. The pictures seemed to come alive in her eyes staring right back at her. "Stephan these....these...are beyond words!" She said as she looked over at him and smiled.

Just as she peered around again, her footsteps were slow. She peered over to the bed, not getting any dirty thoughts or anything, but she just had to feel the fabric. It looked like something you can never get in this day in age. Slowly her hands felt through the fabric slowly. It was smooth and cold, yet somehow warm. Her eyes slowly peeked up as she looked at the big portrait behind the bed. A beautiful girl who had similiar features as Stephan. She stood there and just stared at the picture. The more she examined the more she figured out, plus there it was. Staring at her just like the sun, the very necklace that Stephan was wearing. "She's beautiful. I presume it's your sister?" Just as she thought she had forgotten the pain in her arm came back, but for some reason it felt hot like something was poking it with a hot iron rod. "Ow. Damn, can't just stop hurting for a second." She said as she gazed over at the slightly blood soaked cloth. "I guess it's more serious than I thought. Strange...it looked like a small cut when I looked at it earlier." She said her eyebrows furrling in puzzlement.

Indica blushed as Ciel's perfect lips turned into a smile. He looked quite entertained by her reaction. As she tried to think of somthing witty and biting to say, her eyes darted to their hands, still attached. She was so flustered, Indica took her hand away from his and placed it infront of her inside her other one. "Well, Ciel," putting specific emphasis on his name, "What is there to do out here in the woods? Besides jump off the roof after birds, that is."

Sarah rolled her eyes and looked outside shrugging her shoulders. "Fine,I'll go sit on the porch then.." She turned briskly away from him and walked toward the front door.His answer ticked her off but she wasn't going to leave with out the others.

kiro sat up finaly hed been hurting. he noticed that girl sitting out on the porch... "is she nuts?" he asked himself grabbing a blanket and taking it out to her. he sat down next to her offering her the blanket saying. "im sorry... i was angery. things are different for us, thats why we stay out here." he said finally. "dont take it personaly, and your never going to get home through this storm. we have extra rooms... please stay."

Sarah really wanted to leave but the man came to her. As she listened to him she watched him and looked at the blanket. She was cold but putting on a brave face. She listened to his apology and offer and sighed letting her gaurd cumble a bit. "Sure that would be nice.." She took the blanket and put it arond her shoulders feeliing some heat return to her body.

he smiled. she was being brave... and stubborn. mabye... she could be trusted... "can i ask you something?" he asked pulling his legs in as he sat leaning against the house.

Sarah broke her eyes from the storm and looked at him. She studied his face and then said, "Yeah please do.". She let a light smile on her lips.
