Viscen closed his eyes as his hands slid off of her shoulders
"As much as I dont want to admit it...I know what you are saying"He said softly
"About a year before the war,me and Linell made a promise...if one of us were to die,the other would not taste Human blood untill the other is reincarnated..."He said,his breath growing shallow and mad
"I...I need to go..."He said,holding his head
It had been twenty years since he had felt the blood of another on his lips
The very thougt almost pushed him to attack Raine

He walked off slowly,his head spinning from hunger
The echoes pounded his eardrums untill he saw a girl in her mid teens,climbing down the side of his building

Sasha atched the girl that she put on the sofa climb down the side of the roof. She sat still in case she were to startle the girl. She looked over the sky, it was near down, the sky was painted a dark red near the horizon. She creeped back inside and landed in the foyer again. She closed her eyes and blocked her mind from her past. Opening her eyes she saw Viscen walking slowly around.

Viscen walked by,his head was pounding
"Hello Sasha"He said weakly
The sky grew dim as he sat down

He looked around and saw a book on the hall table
"Once upon a midnight dreary..."He whispered as he opened the leather bound book
"I actually knew Edgar Allen Poe"He said to Sasha
"Not alot of pople know this but he was a Damphir"Viscen said,his hunger subsided slightly

Sasha took a seat close to his, "Thats interesting." She nodded, taking a book of her own out and beginning to read, "I once met William Shakespear. Such a poetic man but he didn't understand the light between the light as well as I thought he would." she said.
She flicke to a page and began to read, no longer having to block memories as the book destracted her from all thought. She looked at Viscen, "The war was cruel to all but the light of the darkness shone before us that day." She whispered, refering to their loved ones as the light and their race as the darkness.

Viscen smiled as he looked at her from above his book
"Humans will never understand us"He said as he looked back at the book and preteded to read
"If my death would bring your sister back,then I would die a hundred times over"He said quietly
In truth,his blood lust had not passed and he was only talking to take his mind off of the pain

"Do you belive in reincarnation?"He asked suddenly,breaking the scilence after a few minutes

Sasha looked down, "I believe my sister wouldn't want you to die for her once never mind more. I believe in reincarnation for humans but of our race you could never be sure."

Sasha read another page and flicked it over, reading the next as she asked, "If only death was a simple thing." She sighed, looking up at Viscen for a moment, "When was I here before?" She blinked, unsure of her past but sure she was at this mansion sometime before, "Was it your engagement announcement?"

Viscen set his book down and looked out the window
"Yes...I do belive thats when it was"He said,closing his eyes and trying to remember
"I remember Rob nearly passed out and you got so excited...and the look on Linell's face"He said,smiling solemnly as several birds flew by

Sasha curled her lips into a smile, "Well its not everyday your little sister gets engaged." she sighed happily, remembering the night clearer after thinking it through. She widened her smile, "It wasn't everyday that you allowed me and Rob to wreck your mansion."

"True"Viscen said,his laugh turning into a sickly cough
"I...Im sorry-cough-"He said,forcing the words out between coughs

Sasha's eyes shot around, "I'll get you some water." A glass of water appeared in her hands, "Here take this."

She handed him the glass and fixed her hair from running.

Viscen took the glass and drank
Within seconds the glass was empty and Viscen slumped back in the chair
"Thank you..."He said weakly
His hand shook as he looked at it
"I...I need to feed...but I cant..."He said,his voice now in a whisper

Sasha looked worried, "Why cant you feed?! Whats the matter?!"
She asked leaping to his side to console him, she knew he was getting weaker and weaker. She grabbed her jacket, ready to get him something, or someone if she had to.

"No...I cant...for her"He gasped
"We made...a promise to eachother...if one of us were to die...one wouldnt feed untill the other was reborn into another being..."He said,a tear rolling down his face
"I feel somthing...as if shes here..."

Sasha eyes watered, "Thats idiotic, you wont survive and you wont know her when she returns!" She said, thinking she would lose Viscen over a promise her sister made him keep.

Cherry already halfway down the mansion, hands slit on the vines and caused her to burn her palms. Blood trickled down on the vine, from Cherry's palms. She had swore very loudly when her hands had slipped, but bit her lip and lept on climbing down.
