"Be careful tonight...Darkest night of the year and all that." She said with a grin. He smiled at her. Did he smile or was that just her imagination? Her grin broke into a smile beaming across her face. She watched as he walked over to help the shouting girl.
Pff. Duh. Of course he'd go over to her if she'd shout. Damn damsel in distress card. Raine rolled her eyes. She watched as he walked away. Something about him was fascinating...almost hypnotic. She shook her head.
Yeah right, Raine. Good luck getting with a guy like that. She sighed.

Sasha looked from her book, noticing a human girl and a man standing around her. It didn't bother her too much. I'll just kill them if they saw too much, she thought slyly. Swaying her legs from the building.

"It seems you are in no need of assistance"Viscen said,smiling still at the sight of another Vampire
He looked back at the girl behind him and winked
"Darkness is where I live"He said smootly
'This Human is different...'He thought to himself as he walked off slowly

Sasha looked at the man as he spoke to her, "I think I can manage." She looked at him again, "Do I know you?" she asked, puzzled by his familiar face.
She looked over at the girl looking at them, I wont kill her, no one will believe her.. she thought looking at her occasionly.

"Nobody knows me anymore"Viscen said as he stepped onto the sidewalk
"Nobody hears my name anymore"He said,more to himself if anything as he though back to the destruction of his Coven

Sasha nodded, trying to remember his face, "I know the feeling." She said thinking back on her dream. The stranger confused her. She decided to leave, she leaped from the building and tried to decide whether to follow him or look through old photo albms for his face.

She watched him offer help to the girl. He looked like he was...in pain. Her mahogany-colored eyes went soft. He suddenly turned and winked. She blushed. He knew she was staring! Oh god, what now?
His lips parted and he spoke.
Darkness is where I live. He said in a smooth voice.
Darkness? What did he mean? What should she say?
"Oh...Okay then..." She said softly.
Nobody knows my name anymore.
"Well what is your name?" She asked.
Idiot! That sounded so naive!

"Viscen Norsefire"He said,the words tasted bitter and he cringed as he said it
"But it shouldnt matter...you'll soon forget it"Viscen said as he walked off
onto a long and lonely dirt trail leading to his mansion

Sasha heard the name, reacting immediatly. She pounced infront of him, "Were you involved in the coven war years ago?!" She asked, her head tossing. She always thought she was the only survivor from her coven. She thought a thanks for the human for asking his name. She gripped her hair, uneasy.

"I won't forget, Viscen!" She piped up as he walked away, a bright smile on her face.
Don't be stupid! Don't say something stupid!
"Oh! And uh...my names Raine Harker!" She watched as he walked onto the dirt road. She hoped he would remember her name. She smiled. Viscen. His name was Viscen.
Suddenly the other girl leaped in front of him and asked about a coven. She sighed, standing there and watching them.

Viscen closed his eyes as the memories consumed his mind
"I am that Norsefire,yes"He said,his voice shaking slightly
"May I ask,which Coven you are from?"He asked,his voice was more steady and he stopped shaking as he thought of other things...like puppies

Sasha gripped her hair tighter, "But you died?! I saw you all die. You shouldn't..." She trailed off troubled. She fell to the floor, "You knew Rob and ... and ... my sister." She sobbed. She looked at the floor, "I was part of the Dark Lights Mist."

He motioned for them both to follow him to his mansion
