II: again, sorry it took me so long... oh and now i'm saving my a** for calling him jamal when altair had never said anything lmao. :II

Harper smiled lightly as they walked along, listening to him talk about Jamal.
He's probably wondering how I know who Jamal is, she thought amusedly, closing her eyes for a moment as they walked.
"Jamal is like a father to you. He took care of you rather than someone else, yes?" She said lightly, confirming what she believed to be true. She had no idea what happened to his parents unless he wished for her to find out, she only knew how special someone else was to her master and why. It was just another addition to the whole 'master/genie bond' thing they now had going. She felt a special connection with whomever Altair felt a special connection to. And although she wouldn't know the story of why unless told, she knew which type of connection someone had to her master. Jamal, for example, was a father figure for Altair. In some way or another.
Harper laughed and shrugged her bare slender shoulders.
"Oh well. Enough people have seen me already. So what's the use in dissappearing now?" She said lightly, turning her gaze to Altair.
Harper noticed a lot of people staring. Women glared at her and men simply stared. Some men even glared at Altair for having a woman like her at his side. Then again, she knew if she was covered up in some sort of Hajib then they wouldn't be glaring or envying him like that. She flashed a dazzling smile at whoever was looking and looped one arm through his so they could walk together and look like a couple. She didn't know if this would make Altair happy or uncomfortable, but it sure gave her a laugh in seeing everyone's astonished faces at this.
